The entire crypto market has declined and for now, Altcoin is good for investing. In my opinion, Ethereum, XRP, Stellar and EOS. And if you want to invest beyond the top 10 coins, you have to do some research first.
For my choice of altcoins to be investing with at the moment I would stay with the established and currently working coins instead of the unknown new kids on the block that are still to produce a platform. So coins such as Ethereum, NEO, Stellar, Ripple, EOS.

Well whenever you're investing you should consider certain factors. Whether you're in for short, midterm ot long term can influence your investment decisions. For short terms, I'll go in for a coin with a hype around it (maybe an ICO) but for a long term, Bitcoin is the best choice.
if you want to trade, I recommend choosing the best coins currently seen on the coinmarketcap list such as bitcoin, xrp, ethereum, xlm and others. don't use all your money on one coin I think it's bad
