I will go with localbitcoins.com as I think that is most convenient wallet as I need to transfer my btc to my bank account and localbitcoin is the best as the transfers are done in fraction  of minutes.

1. blockchain.info
2. electrum
3. multibit
4. bitcoin core

are my orders of usage regarding convenience and security.
Don't mix security and convenience - blockchain.info could be very easy to use. No hassle with anything really, just create account and send/receive bitcoin.
But it is 3rd party service - your money are not absolutely secure there.

Nothing can beat Bitcoin Core - full validation wallet is unbeaten in security field.

There is a need for hot wallets though.  So blockchain.info is great for a web wallet that is a hot wallet.   You really can do a lot with 2nd factor, it does not save it from is site is hacked.  But still helps from someone with password trying to steal.

But your right I would not use it as my main wallet.  It is not meant for that.

After testing several wallets I can say that the best Bitcoin wallet is https://blockchain.info/wallet

That site is very responsive and you can put a low fee in each transaction if you have a little patience to wait and don't want to spend too much money in fees.

What wallets did you test? Adding this info would be good info to know what you tested it against.

I still am a fan of hardware wallets.  I think they will become more and more popular.  For those using blockchain.info make sure to treat it as hot wallet.  Also use 2FA I really like Yubikeys for it.

Also, that link is to the legacy wallet which is fine but sooner or later everyone will have to upgrade to https://blockchain.info/wallet-beta

I think multibit is the best for me.
never use multibit but for me still the best is coinbase because its legal site and i think you cant scam from this site.. and the transaction has no fee unlike other wallet blockchain electrum and i think multibit too has a fee for every transaction you maid..

By their own admission they becoming more of an exchange than a wallet and similar to an exchange you don’t have any control, they do, like a bank.

Having said that I can see the attraction, a pretty good UI and not having to decide on transaction fees, they pay it for you, if it is Coinbase to Coinbase or above 0.0001

Bitcoin Core

Its a good wallet but I don't think it is the most convenient one, downloading the whole blockchain first thing is a pain in the ass and if for some reason it gets corrupted then one has to do it again. In my view Electrum is the one which is the most convenient.

Have you ever head about Pruned mode in Bitcoin Core?
You still need to download blockchain, but it's smaller (only about 2 or 3GB).

Also bitcoin core is better for those who want maximum security or run full nodes.

I have heard about but i don't the function of it. What does a Prunge mode in bitcoin core do?

it is Prune not prunge
it reduces the disk space for blockchain from 60GB to around 2 GB , which is awesome for those who want to run bitcoin core wallet but can not crowd their HDD with a large file.
you can read more about it here https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/blob/v0.11.0/doc/release-notes.md#block-file-pruning

Block pruning allows Bitcoin Core to delete the raw block and undo data once it's been validated and used to build the databases. At that point, the raw data is used only to relay blocks to other nodes, to handle reorganizations, to look up old transactions (if -txindex is enabled or via the RPC/REST interfaces), or for rescanning the wallet. The block index continues to hold the metadata about all blocks in the blockchain.

Ok. Does it reduce the transfer charges?

Raspberry pi? What was that? Is it another hardware wallet or something cos I never heard of it before
The Raspberry Pi is a tiny and affordable computer, not exactly a hardware wallet.
Do you mean download bitcoin core and add raspberry pi
The other way around

I have seem some use for cold storage.  They unplug the RPI when they don't need to spend and only plug in when needing to spend.  You can get them for 35 dollars... so it does have some cost associated.

I would suggest putting that money twords a hardware wallet instead if going to spend money, but it still is a decent amount more for some hardware wallets.

Alright but i understand what you mean when you said putting money towards hardware

CryptoTalk.Org - Get Paid for every Post!
I use Electrum Desktop Wallet. It has all the features that one wants from a bitcoin wallet. It is easy to use.
I have also used MultiBit HD wallet. Its GUI is much better but lacks some features that others have.

I will go with Electrum and Trezor. Electrum is the best so far - simple and fast to use.
Coinbase is also good to use only when you have some small amount for quick Exchange.

I believe Blockchain to be the best and convenient. Without the email authorization you can't get into the wallet. This wallet has two factor security which makes wallet more secure.

I still highly recommend Yubikey's for blockchain.info - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/hands-onyubikey-help-secure-your-digital-assets-including-blockchaininfo-1353231

It is great 2FA and very secure as far as web/hot wallets go.  It should still be treated as hot wallet but it does add a lot of security to it.

if you are new to bitcoin i suggest coinbase. people say that web wallets dont really have good security. but i think if you have 2fa on you arent gonna get hacked. if youre looking for a phone wallet, check out mycelium.

Coinbase really is different then most "hot" web wallets.   With them you don't have control of the private key your only way to get to BTC is through them.  So as long as they don't get compromised it is great.  If they ever do they are one of the few that have a insurance policy on it.

So compare that to mycellium where you do have key.  Just a lot of differences between the two.   Both have advantages but vastly different.
