Indeed, AcknoLedger will conduct an IDO very soon, so I think this is a great long-term investment. But DYOR.
Personally I think that coins such as BNB, Matic, Tron, Solana and Polkadot are really good for the long-term, so investigate them.
and also they are lack of advertising to lure traders.
ADA is the right mid and long term investment to make in block chains as it is not only well researched through peer review but also sustainable and inclusive with a positive impact in the developed and developing world. Right now it is also still affordable for the average person and it has a potential to at least triplicate its value in the next couple of years and multiply it 7 times in 10 years.
and there are so many new projects as well that have the potential to increase above 10x, but require more research and research for that, major coins like ADA may continue to grow but will find it difficult to increase 10x in the near future. but if you hold for long term and not worry about it that a good choice.

It is difficult to recommend an anonymous coin that is able to provide positive results in the long term, Moreover, the duration is up to 5 years. For me personally prefer market tested coin for long term investment. ETH, BNB, NEO, and XRP are perfect for long term investments, because as you said, Technically this coin is very safe and has proven to be able to perform well in the crypto market and has room to hit the highest price at any given time.
ETH, BNB, NEO are good coins for the long time investment but XRP is very risky. SEC eyes on this project. So anything can happen with this coin in the future. I would recommend holding only a few XRP with tight stop loss. If you want to hold this coin by withdrawing from the exchange then invest only a very small fund in this coin. For the long-term investment, you can add Cardano to your list, SXP is also a good coin for the long run. Personally, I am accumulating now a lot of altcoins. I think it's the dop price for the altcoins.

In a period of 5 years, of course, there will be many events that occur in cryptocurrency, from coins that become very valuable, to coins that turn to ashes, even though many have researched that the project is good. by looking at the length of time to ashes, then like you, I also choose mandatory investments in bitcoin, ethereum and binance, even though currently many altcoins are rallying like solana

AXS and ADA seem like pretty good choices. both are getting pretty good pumps in this year's bull trend.

I don't rush and FOMO if I see a coin rise that's why until now I don't own it.
No matter the year, no matter the season, long term holding is very good so far the person in question have understood what long term holding goes with and that not all coin or tokens are good for long term holding.
In my own simple way, long term holding involves those coins with great utility and not those piloting around with hype, but those whose working products is capable of making them increase in value as time goes on.

Lately I started to change my long term portfolio. I currently hold Bitcoin Ethereum BNB and Solana in my wallets. Although I plan to buy Avax from low prices as I believe its ecosystem can become a lot greater. Kucoin Shares and FTT are also good coins to hold I think as exchange coins can become very good.
Exactly my plan is the same as yours. Kucoin is still undervalued to me, It's a very good Coin for the long-term investment. I am holding some and the buy price was about $3 to $5. My target is ATH price. FTT showing some upword movements, It already breaks ATH price. Hope 2x is very near.
Bitcoin dumping, so waiting to fill my bag with some favorite altcoin. Also that investment for the long term, Cardano, Matic, SXP is on my watch list.

ICP because I believe that they will provide the services they plan to release and it sounds like something people would use, and it’s a governance token that anyone deploying dapps on their platform will want to have because it provides voting power. This is just an oppinion

You are right that there are many altcoins that overtake Bitcoin in price of transaction fees, speedness, anonymity, but Bitcoin is still number one. It is the most decentralised one, so don't write it off.
Personally I think that coins such as BNB, Matic, Tron, Solana and Polkadot are really good for the long-term, so investigate them.
Nimiq is a great long term investment. It makes crypto extremely easy to use for the average person to pay for goods and services. Nimiq OASIS is in development to make accepting crypto even easier by simplifying the fiat-crypto ramp. These two features make it very user-friendly and easy to adopt for everyone. It is also moving to PoS very soon, so that'll increase Tx times many folds.
