look at marketcap and pick top 20. You can't go wrong with that. When picking long term you want to make sure that what you are investing in doesn't disappear tomorrow. price can go up and down but as long as there is a community and support behind it it will rise in value and quality. without community there is nothing worth investing in.

I'm not sure about Pundi, Cartesi, QuantStamp for the long term because this is new coins, and I think the important things for long term investment is choose the old coins that already survive in the market for so long. For longterm holding i will recommend only 2 coins and these 2 coins are the ones that i am holding myself and will keep holding till they become really expensive so my choice is ethereum eth and cardano ada.
