From all list you post i will buy bitcoin, Ethereum, Neo and Litecoin if will be my choose, and maybe i will add Nano, ETN and some other small priced coins now which in my opinion will grow.
I do not really see the need to take any additional risks, ethereum is really cheap and I have no doubt that it is going to be one of the best performing coins during the next year.

While right now I'm not holding any just in case the market goes down as soon as I believe a recovery is under way I'm going to buy all the ethereum that I can afford and I will hold that until it is clear that the recovery that I am expecting from ethereum is finally over.

I have some altcoins from early 2017 and some BTC and ETH too. I am thinking about investing some more but don't really know what i should be looking into.

Below is my list of coins.

BTC, ETH, NEO, ADA, LSK, LTC, Stratis, Waves, ARK, SHIFT, Pivx, VTC, GRS, Powr, Tenx

When i bought in early 2017, Statis, Waves, Ark and ADA was popular, how are these coins today?

I am not interested in low market/very new coins.

Thanks!

ADA is a coin that plays very well for now always in the top 15 coins on the marketcap, can you check it at coinmarketcap

I recommend not investing in these alts now. The market is never as pink as we think. The market is always changing every year and such alts would not exist since now the capital is focusing heavily on Bitcoin. Currently Bitcoin Dominance is up to 66.9% and this is still a very high number, it has not decreased so we can buy alts at good prices. you should wait when the investor changes his mind and will sell bitcoins to reinvest in the alts. At that time, buying new alts will bring us benefits.
This view seems to be correct, many are always thinking of buying a coin when it is cheap, but what it actually means to be cheap? You can buy ETH for 150 dollars and that may seem cheap compared to its all time high, but what if the market of cryptocurrencies keeps crashing and then you can buy ETH for 75 dollars, do you still think that you bought at a cheap price? It is better to let the market do its thing and only buy a coin when the recovery is very clear.

I would definitely put 50 percent into Bitcoin because at the moment it is the best performing crypto currency. ETH is looking good as well and I hope that tomorrows hardfork is going to change things and make ETH fly.

Just market don't look at them

Anyhow, holding btc/eth = safe

Everyone chooses which coin to invest in, I can only offer perspective coins in my opinion, for example I have invested in ether, ltc, bnb, eos
You have a good portfolio but EOS on the catalog should be removed and replaced with another decentralized coin cause the major player on centralized coins platform are those that usually benefit from the system while the investors are prey.
Don't be fool by the project concept and features

bitcoin is best choice to take it for investing or saving for the future, other coins like altcoin has high risk if saving for long time.. its happen to me when i was saved altcoins, i get lose in the future.. so i think be better to choose and buy bitcoin for now, the next plan you can buy ETH, ADA, LTC, BCH when its show the price will rise but not now, buy its now just lose your fund.

the most suitable coins to buy are those in the top 5 in the coinmarketcap, buying coins that are cheap but don't necessarily provide certainty of an increase in price (there is rarely movement on the market) will be long to get a profit. I don't dare give or mention which coins are good, I myself am not sure because of market conditions that make me confused. one that's for sure I bought and held xrp.
Agree. These are the safest options for investors and don't need to spend a lot of time research. In fact, top 5 coins are always considered when investing in long-term investmentsand predict 2020 will start the uptrend. However, care must be taken because it is not always fortunate to make a high profit. Of course this is just a prediction and everything depends on the upcoming market.

I know this isnt in your list but let me try anyway, I recommend you Nas by Nebulas. Project is a search engine much like google but for the blockchain instead of the web. This is for devs and end-user alike. If you want to know more about the project and its listing on Atomars I recommend you reading this medium blog.

BTC is the best choice for now, because altcoins are only dropping in price without any improvements throughout the last several years. A miracle should happen to push the market forward and right now it does not seem to happen.
And even if that miracle does happen we know that the coin that is going to receive the most attention from investors is going to be bitcoin and no other coin, investors are no longer interested in throwing their money away to useless altcoins, they have learned their lesson or they are out of cash so the next wave of investors having seen what happened to this market years ago are only going to be interested to buy bitcoin and not much else.

If you are looking for quick investments I suggest LIVA (they experienced the price drop and if everything is normal they should have a short growth), NWC (the token experienced the drop after huge airdrop and competition sells, the organic growth was like 25-30% more than the token is worth today, great buy position) and SNX (everything is just falling right for them, just look at the chart from July till now, extreme growth and its not like they are stoping soon)
And yea afc BTC aswell Smiley

Well I respect your buying decision but the graph was not enticing to do an investment to it. With this current market top coins should prioritized if somebody will do an investment. But this is also a good for others to make a choice if they want to have an investment to other coin.

you can simply check your coins here https://coinmarketcap.com/ but i think all the coins you bought in 2017 is in bad shape now.

better stay in Bitcoin ,ETH and LTC than risking in all those shitcoins.

for Waves, Ark and ADA, as far as I know, these coins still have potential in the future. however, in your portfolio, I suggest focusing on bitcoin and ethereum if you want to increase the amount. I'm sure you have also heard that the development of bitcoin and ethereum in 2020 has enough potential to be able to reach the achievements that crypto has achieved in 2017. If you sell late at that time, this might be your second chance.

Well, when you don't have an interest in a coin with a low market cap I think that's enough for you to continue what you believe in yourself, because just choosing a coin with a high market cap will at least make your investment potentially get good results when the bullish trend occurs later.

The low market cap will have a chance to increase their volume along with the developments we see, low volumes it doesn't mean the coin will become zero. So choosing the right coin will take because we have to check their activity in the market otherwise, it is impossible for us to predict the price.

You had such a great test of choosing the best coins, all of your bought coins are in a good position, though their value has decreased significantly! But yet these coins are still better to hold, and soo on later, if the crypto market goes for another bull run, then your holdings price also will be huge!
it is same as my thought.

But, I think in other side. Bull run wont happen in the near future, so it needs more time to reach next bull run
altcoin would have big possibility to decrease while waiting the next bull run

So, arent we better to wait until bull run happen and then buy altcoin?
it can avoid loses and wasting our money.

It's everybody's opinions to whatever position that they've going to take regarding to this business. It's tough to choose as there's certain movements to which possibilities of losing your investment is on stake. You have to keep doing your research before jumping to any conclusions and start buying the coin/s that you think that will proceed and brings you benefits.
