Through experience, I've managed to create what I think as a good composition of cryptocurrencies for my portfolio.

Before, I'm like that type of investor that buys anything that I think is going to be huge after a month or at least a year. And in result, that strategy and experience of mine got me losses.

Learning from that experience of mine made me decided that I only have to choose those projects that I'm firmly believing because of I did my research.
I told my friends entering this market, the last thing they want to hold is Bitcoin. So instead of going around incomprehensible, there is a direction, but in fact very few people go in that direction only when they receive a certain amount of success that they realize their wrong plan.
Personally, I used to be greedy to follow trends and join them like crazy, but give it a go if you haven't already because there's nothing to feel if it doesn't happen to you.
Last for bitcoin?

They should learn to hold bitcoin first so that they should know what they're doing. But we all have our choices and what makes us comfortable with our portfolios.

I've also been riding some trends before but I think it's better for me to do the usual stategy.

I will then begin to search for low cap altcoin that has lots of potential but yet under the radar.
you will begin? just now? lol the market had already goes up and down and you will begin searching just now .
Maybe he is late to realize and research the coin before so when the market goes up, he suddenly gets an idea of what coin he should buy. At least, he still has time to search for the coin and start to buy because if he still delays until the end of this month, he might be too late to start research. Searching for a low cap altcoin will not guarantee gets lots of potentials since you do not know what the coin is. So maybe you can take a look at the top 50 coins lists to find out the coin.

I don't have that many options,
It's not necessary for me to diversify my portfolio in one market, just catching the core of this market is more than enough.
You have no many options but below you mentioned more than 2 coins meaning that is Many and not a single one lol.

I suggest AXY, this coin in the future will continue to be good, because as the world of esports develops, there will be many new players in the future. So it is likely that this year the price of AXY could rise 2 to 3 times the current price.
Axie Infinity price today is $78.30 with a 24-hour trading volume of $619,095,799.

great call mate . 70% increase now and still climbing ?

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/axie-infinity/

if i had seen this post yesterday ? sure i'll put some funds to claim now.

Now i will choice SOL for now. but celr, auction, atom, xvs Alice this token is also good. And if you hold these token for a long time, you will get something good. In fact, if you hold any token for a long time, you can get good profit from any token if that token is listed on a good exchange.
SOL and ADA seemingly both are making its way hype .

but all those you mentioned shitcoins is far from my idea of investing .

You made a very close call, after your suggestion Axie Infinity had a massive gain.
Very good prediction, bro!

SOL is a very centralized coin and SOL network was broken just a few weeks ago. In a case where we need a working crypto currency, SOL can't be trusted because of it's recent fail. Looks like devs need to restore trust and more testing. Meanwhile I like more BTC, ETH, Tezos, IOTA and Avalanche as a good decentralized coin.

LTO Network. Based on its current revenues, it’s already one of the cheapest valued tokens out there. It’s doing hybrid blockchain for B2B and is currently shifting towards Digital ID’s (which is a huge market of $35bn in 2025) and digital signatures (market size $15bn in 2025). LTO Network is in its adoption phase and I expect it to enter the strong growth phase next year.

Bitcoin will be my first choice  follow by ethereum.  I will then begin to search for low cap altcoin that has lots of potential but yet under the radar.  I will like to believe Solana could actually give ethereum a run and possibly compete by snatching more users and dev from it's network!

Learning from that experience of mine made me decided that I only have to choose those projects that I'm firmly believing because of I did my research.
I am both of those things at the same time. I managed to build my main portfolio as the important part and I have managed to have a very good portfolio that had a very good return even after the big drop which I started beforehand so I am feeling very lucky about it. Picking the right coins that will be at the top do matter a lot but I do not know what it would have been if I just went crazy and bought a little bit of everything, maybe I would have lost more or I could have earned a lot more.

Instead of wondering, I just put aside a small amount, less than 10% of my portfolio and I invested into very tiny stuff with it, I can't even do it on ETH blockchain because it would require me to pay more fee than what I invest to them, I invested THAT little into them, like 10-20 bucks. That way I have a lot of small tiny coins that also consist in my portfolio without hurting my profits.
Putting some small amount like a spare to any coins that you think will perform well somehow in the future is fine.

As long as the money you're about to invest is affordable to lose, that's totally fine. But with my strategy lately, I look at the projects that I think is good enough and beneficial to my investing style.

I don't have that many options,
It's not necessary for me to diversify my portfolio in one market, just catching the core of this market is more than enough.
I'm still holding BTC, ETH and a few of my favorite altcoins in the market and I think if you're thinking of buying them then have a clear plan with them.
A good strategy that you have.

Someone don't have to be that much diversified with their portfolio and as long as it's manageable to add some more from the existing ones like you have.

It's a well structured portfolio.
A lot of people are just looking at what's happening in front of them and don't understand what's going on around it.
In investing, profit comes first, but the way we evaluate that top thing is not consistent in our actions and thoughts.
Creating too many portfolios will still depend on the original plan with it, I don't deny knowing a lot of things is not good, but don't equate those good things with myself.
And most of all, everyone's experience will have a way of managing their portfolio. Just keep things as simple as this, if you are ready to diversify your portfolio, accept the profits and risks that always come with it, but in this case do you realize that they do not increase at the same time to get a profit Smiley and there are a lot of problems in the process.

Which coin(s) would you buy now? I mean during this crash.

of course Bitcoin, because Bitcoin is the right choice and profitable for the current conditions, so by investing in Bitcoin, then I will definitely get a big profit in the long term, because the price will definitely continue to increase and create a new ATH price, therefore now is the right time to buy Bitcoin at a low price before the next bull run comes, because when there is a bull run, then I believe that the price of Bitcoin will definitely increase very high and create a new ATH price again.

The BETA FINANCE sale that will be carried out on Binance is one of the coins that I will hunt to get a tier where I have to be able to buy it, therefore this will be a 10x increase and usually the sales that Binance launches always have a big increase so this will be my target now.

https://twitter.com/binance/status/1443153927286018054

There are some coins in my portfolio maybe it will last a little longer until the market really recovers.

Right now, am buying chainge finance (CHNG), fusion (FSN), student coin (STC), deathroad (DRACE), binance coin (BNB) and a host of others, there are alot of great projects this days that are worth investing in, chainge and fusion are one of those projects, and the sweet part is that, this projects are still very cheap to invest in, all the same, wishing everyone luck and happy investing.
