im pretty sure that not a long time ago it was banned in russia wasnt it? i think now it is punishable by huge fines or even prison there though i dont think that it is a good decision that they made

in my opinion the use of bitcoin should be free for everyone just so people can be their own banks and maybe even make a lot of money with bitcoins by working with it full time, though those are just my ideas
I don't think it was ever outright banned in Russia, there was only talk of it being banned.

I could be wrong, and I haven't been keeping up with the news, but not that long ago one of the Russian finance ministers, if I remember correctly, said Bitcoin was a good thing, or at least something that had technology that could be applied.
I too don't think that bitcoin was fully banned in Russia, it may just a news spread out, because I often see some Russian users in this forum. Also those people are more interested in bitcoin.

North Korea has only 600 allowed people which uses internet there, and all working for intelligence for the government. Normal users there don't have access to internet, thats why normal people don't use bitcoin in North Korea, it looks to me like a land forgotten by time.

I think North Korea and Cuba are far from Bitcoin.
I think even those north korea and cuba have access to bitcoin. As bitcoin can be earned and not always needed to purchase for cash. And i don't think those country have banned bitcointalk or other bitcoin related sites yet to stop people from using and knowing about bitcoin.

So basically i think bitcoin has already spreaded to most of the countries.

at least those that have restricted or banned it like bangladesh, vietnam etc, are not using it

but i suspect that a very small group of people are using it regardless, and this maybe true for each country out there

i agree! even if bitcoin is banned in some countries there will still be small amount of people who is going to use bitcoin. it cant be helped.

I think most european countries use bitcoins and in england there's a shop called Cex where they sell games and if you look behind the counter there is a picture saying Bitcoin is accepted here so for anyone who likes promoting bitcoin to the public this should cheer you up

I do not know witch countries but I think that many western European countries do not make use of Bitcoins. I do not know why not, if Bitcoin manages to get these countries to use Bitcoin this would be huge for their reputation.

i think every single country has some people that have heard about bitcoin and are using it, and there is not really anything anybody can do about that either.
but there is a big difference between people using bitcoin and bitcoin being actually used in the country like having a local exchanger or having local businesses accept bitcoin and more importantly have laws about bitcoin by government.
Yes I too think most of people know about the bitcoins and also using them. But it is not widely and publicly used in most countries. Due to it's online presence. But at the same time every people can take benefit even if Govt do not allows.

It would be very interesting to know if a Bitcoin transaction has ever been made from and, or, to North Korea.

Kim Jong-Un, in case you're reading this, what's your Monero address?
lol, it's funny
well if north korean using bitcoin, it must be their hacker team, the rich people or government's family or the most suprising is kim jong un using it
due to internet connection out there are limited by the government

I believe that wherever is there an internet connection -even a slow one- , you will find bitcoin users. people always are looking for freedom in their money transactions which they can find in bitcoin.

I think North Korea is the only country where are any bitcoin users, because there about 99% of people don't have accsess to worldvide internet network and those who can use internet don't try to use bitcoins because it's it's restricted and very risky to use it.

I think every country has 1 user that is using the bitcoin, in some country's they are banned but I think this could not stop them using it in my opinion.
I think some people in that kind of country's are still using it.

I thin majority of Asian countries are not using it and especially the Indians, as majority of them are not aware about it and rest cannot use only because the Government is not supporting it.

Well there are a lot of factors to keep in mind when going about this question. In some countries there are no Bitcoin ATM's or the Bitcoin exchanges don't provide service to these areas. Now I don't know if there are any countries other than the ones which already have banned Bitcoin obviously which are excluded by the exchanges for whatever reason. You would need to do a Google search for that one. In other countries there are no online retailers accepting Bitcoin payments so you can't spend your coins on anything. In some other unfortunate countries there are no Bitcoin exchanges or retailers plus there are limited electricity and Internet connection on top of that like in Africa. So which country does not use Bitcoin is a very broad question with a lot of different answers if you take into consideration all the different angles. I think we need an expert on geopolitics and Bitcoin to answer your question satisfactorily.
