In holiday we trust
A good thing to prepare :

2 small cans of tuna in olive oil
One stick of celery
A small white onion
Mayonnaise

1. Drain tuna and mash
2. Dice celery and onion
3. Combine ingredients and add mayonnaise to consistency

Stick in fridge overnight

Once ready put on anything!

Hmm. I love to cook fried rice with sinigang or adobo as viand. It's tasty, delicious, and worth the wait Smiley

I make Carne Adovada (pork in mild red chile sauce) – admittedly, from a mix. I’ve made it from scratch and frankly I like the mix just as much, if not more.

My best shot if I were to cook for myself is fried rice. just throw anything edible from the fridge, mix it with rice n some spice n soy sauce. And if I cook for myself, I never too care about the taste. As long as it fill my stomach, it do the job.

Anyone has tried fried tofu, mix with tomatoes n some cabbage in fried rice? It surprisingly good. n CHEAP. LoL Tongue
When i first saw tofu is said that i will never put that in my mouth, but my wife tricked me and put fried tofu in my favorite salad and was so so good. Now i eat more tofu than cheese.....but no tofu will ever replace the melting mozzarella from pizza!

Simple things like Eggs, Ramen, Rice, sometimes cook some vegetables the frozen kind and give it a warm up or some hamburgers and hot dogs, that said I am thinking of expanding that while trying to find something that doesn't need to much preparation time.
Maybe get some ground beef and make tacos or buy some nachos and add cheese.
Open to some creative ideas though key is keeping it simple

Licking my boob since 1970
ramen noodles Cry

Try a twist on this classic.   You need 3 slices of cheese.

Boil the noodles and drain them.  Quickly throw 2 pieces of cheese at the bottom of the pot.  Throw the noodles in and put the last piece of cheese at the top.  Quickly cover with your plate and let sit, unheated, for about 2-5 minutes then mix the cheese into the noodles.

Pastas, and basically any kind of meat. Yup, I'm a avid meat lover. Oh, and sometimes Mama Tom Yum, or different types of Asian ramen, and onigiri.

I like to make up a good sandwich with turkey, mayo (sometimes miracle whip), some lettuce, a slice of provolone or munster all on some nice cheap ass white bread.

For sides I vary a lot, anything from chips to carrots... though they tend to be of the 'unhealthy' variety most of the time.

I like to keep things simple.

Make a sandwich using a bagel bread, and ham, cheese etc. With a side of sweet small tomatoes.

This is not "cooking" imaho  Grin

However sandw. are the best "fast" choice  for eat Smiley

I lack kitchen skills, the most I can do would be a hamburger helper or mac and cheese.

No serious raw chicken cooking etc. Plus I dont make much.
