for me it depends on what tokens will be invested, like bitcoin for me is very suitable for short-term investments because the price is very easy to go up and down so we can use it in a short time to take profits, and for long I invest in top altcoins like ethereum and also Ripple.

The long term investment is more profitable in the cryptocurrency world. The crypto market is unstable, and we can't expect a great increasing of the prices in short term. But there are many cryptocurrencies which have the potential to go up highly in the long run, like Bitcoin, Ethereum and Waves.
It all depends on your desire. If you want to make a lot of money, then make long investments. Short investments do not bring big profits and will only help to hold out until a certain period, while long investments will be justified.
Short term investment would be a better one especially during continuous dumps in the market. This can be observed on newly listed coins. If long term investment would be chosen, chances are high that the market value of newly listed crypto would fell immediately upon a week of being listed and would be continuous, long term holding would therefore yield to small profit as the market value decreases.

It depends on one's perspective of earning profit. If an investor is aiming for instant profit, he'll surely go with short term investment. And if not, and if he prefer waiting for the right time to sell and earn huge profit, long term investment would be the best choice. At this moment, long term investment would be more profitable because the market value of cryptos are continuously falling and people are still waiting for recovery to happen. Today, it is still better to consider long-term investments, because with the current state of the cryptocurrency market, virtually all cryptocurrency falls in price 10 times at least.
In your portfolio, you must have both types of coins for the long term and for the short terms. But for long-term, coins which have a small market cap are very very dangerous and I don't recommend them. But they can be very profitable for the short term. Just buy and sell them in a couple of weeks or months. For long-term(3-5 years) I have two coins BTC and ETH I don't even trust other biggest altcoins for long-term
as I think. Bitcoin's progress has gone through 10 years of development. The value that investors' beliefs have gained is enormous. Long term is defined as my goal with bitcoin. simple, just buy what crypto did you believe have a lot of potential to grow in long term

Same. At this point of time when the market is in such a dip, it is best to invest in the coin you feel has the most potential for a long term investment and then wait to earn good profit returns.
The market is being very volatile right now, so short term profit returns would be very minimal.
Also, the best coins according to me, for a long term investment would be Ethereum, Litecoin, Monero, Ripple. These coins are great coins to invest and will give you good returns in the future.
I think both are as good. long term or short term just the same for me. if you have a lot of capital you can save some potential coins for the long term. and part of the capital you can trade short term. that's what I have done so far.

I think you should invest long term. Because the altcoins are now cheap and you can not buy it in the future 2 years. Short-term investment can not be profitable when the market is stable and there are not too many waves. So long term investment will be one of the essential things to help you make big profits. I was thinking about everyday trading but this is too hard and specially when you have current job and not much time for this market
This is depends from coins you hold in your pholio because some of them are good for long term and some of them better for short
I think both are as good. long term or short term just the same for me. if you have a lot of capital you can save some potential coins for the long term. and part of the capital you can trade short term. that's what I have done so far.
For right now because the market price is still decreasing we choose better if it's longterm because we can wait the price of the crypto coins to increase again. Shortern also is still good because you can get some profit but depends to the coin that you have.
If one is able to get intoa good project, long term reward far outways short term. One need to try to stop listening to the noise in the space, it is interesting that some good projects are valued far less than the amount those projects have to work on their platform, a good exampale is Status, even with the recent market crash they still have more USD in ethereum higher than the marketcap which just show who we value projects in this space
I have already realized that hodl strategy does not work, you can only lose it, not earn, because a strong pump is very rare and you can not hope for it. In any case, you should manage your capital, and not hope that everything will happen by itself and the money will earn themselves.
