i think if you want to invest in cryptocurrency is better you do a long term investments
you just find a good project with active development and great roadmap too,,
then buy it, and hold it for long term,,
short term investments need more analyst, such as technically and fundamentally,, and in my opinion its too complicated for a new people in crypto world

In that kind of situation , I think the best way to do is to hold your coin because selling is not applicable since most of the coin prices are low and I really prefer long term investment because I can earn a good profits from that method.
The long term investment is more profitable in the cryptocurrency world. The crypto market is unstable, and we can't expect a great increasing of the prices in short term. But there are many cryptocurrencies which have the potential to go up highly in the long run, like Bitcoin, Ethereum and Waves.
If the market is going to bullish then better if we go on long term investments and wait for that coin to reach its fullest potential as we could gain profits of multiple folds specially if our investment products are feasible to the masses in which it could attract more people to invest. Short term is in favor of bearish market but you always need a good timing on every price movements for you to earn which is difficult.
Depends on what kind of profit you want and how risky you want to be. Short term investment will give you a burst of profit in the short run but with this comes higher risk of losing everything on the short run. On the other hand, long term profit will give you a decent profit but the time taken to receive those profit is actually high. In this case the risk is less since crypto currencies tend to increase in price in the long run.
I used to choose a long-term investment strategy.

Short term investment is a less risky thing in my opinion because when you do long-term investments you can get into the dip like we are experiencing today...some people bought BTC for 12-15k$ and just imagine how they feel?
why not both? use both from different coins are good for us. we can use short term for shitcoin or just take fast profit

If there are no unexpected financial problems. I prefer long term investment. I only focus on the top 5 best coins in the market. Just set the ledger and embed the right time. 1-2 years is a good profit. crypto will continue to grow strongly based on the value from the usefulness of the blockchain.
