Obviously Terra will not be a potential because it was scam project, now it's re branded and listed on Binance. AVAX is good coin and top 10 ranking coin but i think MATIC is a potential like Ethereum because it's one of the less fee coin in transaction from your listed coins, many project launched their token in matic network.
Crazy that Terra is still there and it was even listed in Binance. Oh well, I realized that many shitcoins are also found on that exchange. We now have to make a research whenever we invest on any coin there, especially on the new ones since not all of them are good or legit to give us even a small return for a short period of time.

Now back on topic, I agree that Matic is a better candidate here than in AVAX and the rest of the coins in our list but the only thing is that, Matic's value is only smaller than in AVAX. This might also be the reason on why AVAX is still leading in terms of rankings but let's see if what the future has in store for Matic.

2 years have passed and the #1 on the list is already removed as what we know the issue that it has been with. IMHO, these are what's on my radar to be Eth-like.

  • BNB
  • Polygon
  • sol  - too I guess

Choose "Polygon"

Less fee, and more faster comparing "BSC & ETH" also there has so many development progress and enthusiasm on crypto-space to them. As you can see most of "Dapps" or crypto game is using or migrated to "Polygon".

So, I more prefer to polygon.

I agree with you, Polygon is the second choice of ETH and BSC, this network is fast and the fees are cheap, Polygon is very suitable to choose now for transactions now, that's why many games are founded on this network now
its literally second layer of ethereum so I guess that does make sense that its actually cheaper than ETH by a significant margin but arguably with BSC it might be similar, but overall
due to the similarity of ethereum ecosystem and polygon I guess indeed its seems more plausible choice to go for polygon since its really active in development and innovation anyway.
but lately i've been seeing less and less project deployed in this chain though everyone just went full ethereum or. at least going into OP and ARB instead, if not solana the real contender of ethereum.
frankly speaking, i will choose solana like some people have mentioned when it comes to talking about potential because lets be real here.
solana is the one that got the community driving its force into growing 10x when we haven't yet reached the altcoin season.

Hello,
Which one of the following coins has a Ethereum-like potential:

1- Terra
2- Avalanche
3- Polygon
4- Moonriver

Thank you.
Ethereum is the second most popular coin in the current market after Bitcoin. All altcoins have different price differences between Ethereum positions and other coins. Some of the coins you mentioned I don't think have the potential to be like ethereum. I don't think any of the four coins you mentioned will ever become like Ethereum in the first place. But I've heard rumblings that Terra and Polygon could be the next Ethereum. It is possible that the two coins will achieve a very high level of adoption in the future and one can expect future profits from investing in the two coins.

Hello,
Which one of the following coins has a Ethereum-like potential:

1- Terra
2- Avalanche
3- Polygon
4- Moonriver

Thank you.
Some of the tokens you mentioned here are very well positioned tokens. Each token has its own platform and is very popular and top coin. From here I can only consider Matic/Polygon as a future coin like Ethereum because Matic/Polygon could be like Ethereum in the future. Next I will talk about the Avalanche token as it is also very well positioned and will improve a lot in the future. I am considering these two coins and I am not considering a others.

I think it is natural that, for those with potential other than ethereum, it is clearly true. No one can deny that BSC is the choice because it is often used by many new projects that are growing, and the fees charged or charged are still relatively cheap compared to ethereum.
But I also agree that Polygon is the next choice, because of its speed and very cheap costs.
Once again, it all depends on how we are used to using it, because I am used to BSC, so I will go there. Apart from the fact that it is connected to a polygon, for me, it is the same as BSC. In fact, I avoid using ethereum.

OP Of all the coins you mentioned here, Polygon is the coin with the most potential future like Ethereum. I picked Polygon as the first choice because Polygon is already an Ethereum-like platform. If it achieves something good in the future I think this Polygon platform will achieve it. Moreover, there is no hassle in transactions, transactions are completed instantly and transaction fees are very low.
I guess the reason why polygon is so ethereum alike is probably due to the fact that its literally just an L2 of ethereum in which utilizes same EVM with just different scaling technique but of course at the end of the day its just an L2 which sole purpose is to load off some of the transaction off the ethereum mainnet blockchain to polygon.
there are many people that thinks Polygon is some kind of L1 that just resembles ethereum well they might need to learn more about polygon but overall since the fact that they use their own coin for gas also could definitely make people think that way and that honestly totally okay.
but I think if its any coin that gonna be the next ethereum i will be frank its gonna be solana, their community so active, there are plenty of dapps and the coin price increase has been massive.

Thank you.
Among the options, both Avalanche and Polygon have shown Ethereum-like potential, each in their own way.

Avalanche (AVAX): Known for its high throughput and low fees, Avalanche aims to provide a platform for decentralized applications and custom blockchain networks.

Polygon (MATIC): Polygon has gained popularity for enhancing Ethereum's scalability and interoperability. It serves as a framework for building interconnected blockchain networks.

While Terra and Moonriver have their strengths, Avalanche and Polygon have demonstrated scalability and adoption similar to Ethereum. Do your research, consider your investment goals, and stay updated on the projects' developments

I think hathor network could be alternative as layer 1 chain that will solve other layer 1 chain problem. It has scalable tps with huge number which is could upgraded when needed. Nano contract also be main technology from hathor, this is give easinest to developers team to creating token. With merge mining bitcoin , it give us huge efficiency

if the list had a BNB name I would choose BNB, because I believe I can reach even higher pumps of 2000$ in the future. not for now but I'm sure in the future after the bitcoin halving BNB can touch that price. for those listed, polygons are quite good, but to determine ATH is not yet known, because there are still many shortcomings. in the future it will be even better, do your research again

BNB is not listed, maybe he thinks it's too centralized.
but almost all new projects use bsc network now.
i personally prefer polygon even though in the beginning it often suffers from network congestion, but now things are looking better to me which makes it worthy of being a strong contender for ETH in the future.

Hello,
Which one of the following coins has a Ethereum-like potential:

1- Terra
2- Avalanche
3- Polygon
4- Moonriver

Thank you.

I think non of them have potential to be next Ethereum. The kind of decentralization, security and diversity Ethereum has developed over the past 5 years, it will take them years to reach there where Ethereum is now however,  Matic is using layer 2 solution of Ethereum network and has captured sizable share of the market during the past 2 years and its network is continuously progressing. Hence, Matic holders will certainly book good profit in the next Alts rally.
The milestones of Ethereum would be hard for them to reach. Among the listed coins, I could see a big potential in Matic as well. It has shown a good movement and development over the past few years. It usually goes along with Bitcoin so I could also feel that holders will take sure profit when the market situation gets better. Lots of investors have strong hands when it comes to holding this coin.

Easy Polygon for me
Polygon is an easy way to go if you want to trade either short or long term. Especially when more Polygon are widely used on new projects as their tokens and the chance of Polygon will going better is significantly higher if that's possible. It's just a matter of time Polygon will not be overshadowed with the other "Ethereum-like" coins.
What about avalanche? Like polygon, avalanched is also popular and trusted. Then maybe we can add moonriver next to them. The only coin that we need to avoid is terra because of what happened to them last time. Polygon is not over shadowed but polygon was actually leading now from the 4 coins in the list but not for bnb since many projects are still under the bnb and it's the main eth alternative but I wonder why the op didn't added it on the list.

@htid1984 you must be kidding. Didn't you read the title? It's clearly said eth like potential, so it means eth is still better among them. Even bnb itself still can't compete with eth.

Among those 4 list, I would choose Polygon, since they have dominate the NFT market with OpenSea, even though the NFT hype itself is keep declining. However, I found it strange that you didn't mention Binance Smart Chain, which is very popular right now, most of new project choose BSC over another platform, and some existing project move to BSC, so I think you should consider BSC too.
