Watching the game that you bet on can be a distraction, you'll always have a tense feeling when the game is going against your bet, you might even experience many mood swings during the game, excited when it's in the favor of your bet and sad if it's not. Although you can still experience this mood swings when your favorite team is playing, because you don't want them to loose, but I believe that the feeling will be more intense when your money is at stake.

Some Will argue that afterall we gamble for fun, not really to make money, so why should losing our bet bother us?
But the fact is that nobody likes to loose, whether money is involved or not, winning gives a feeling of fulfilment, while loses makes us to feel sad, no matter how slightly it might be.

I would prepare to watch matches I have bets on so that I can determine what will be the outcome of the match. Gambling is more of risks that profits. Once I am watching the matching I bet on, I am always careful next time on the way I bet on that kind of match and staying guarded avoiding further loses if I finally lose on the bet. There are people that don't find it funny watching match they bet on. Sometimes this might make them emotions to an extent. Which over ways we prefer, it is good for us to be careful and make proper plans on which one is best for us to consider.
That's the purpose of betting on a match, to get the emotions out. To get excited, to get angry, frustrated, and joyful if it's a win. I don't like putting bets on games that I don't have any idea about but I did try it before betting on table tennis matches from Russian tournaments if I remember right. In the end, I still watched the games, (thanks to the stream offered by Stake.com) because I was curious if I could hit my parlay. It was a long parlay which is why I was forced to do so and I am trying to determine where I could cash it out. Thankfully, it was a successful one and I got an x50 on that parlay with 12 matches. I just didn't continue and cashed it out early.
Did I have fun watching the table tennis games that I know nothing about? I did. And it's because I have some money which is on the line that made me do it. While watching those games I can still remember I was cheering for one dude just so my parlay won't be broken and it worked out fine.

maybe everyone has different thoughts but for me it all depends on how you consider your bet to make a profit or just to try your luck in the match. If a bettor hopes for a profit that has been targeted, he will definitely bet a large amount and when watching a match and losing, most bettors who are looking for a profit will experience the same thing. but for bettors who think this is just to try their luck with a small amount of $1 with high odds I dont think they will feel regret or stress if the match is lost because $1 is just a small amount and worth losing.

I understand the situation you have experienced, even I myself have also experienced this, but from mistakes in the past I have become better without feeling disappointed if my bet loses because I enjoy watching the match more and if I lose I will not regret it because I watched my match. to be entertained and my betting amount was not too big involving only $1
Betting with an amount of $1 will not give bettors any regrets because usually, they will bet with a larger amount of money because they want to win a lot of money. It is normal that they want to watch the match, and if he is a wise person, he will learn the match from watching the match so that it can improve his abilities and also his knowledge, which can be useful at other times. Each bettor's goals will differ. Some people want to win the match and some want to have fun by betting on their favorite team. So every bettor can decide whether to watch the match or just place a bet because they feel it will be too emotional.

Yes, I agree with you because learning from past mistakes can give us an understanding of what we should do, making us wiser in responding to them. We will choose whether to watch the match or not, and if we can accept whatever final result of the match can give us any betting results, we can still watch the match. If we lose, it will not disappoint us because we are already aware of the consequences we will face.

But watching a game with a bet will give you some anxiety and out of concentration feeling because you weren't able to watch properly because you were thinking and focusing who will be the winner, right? I agree that people will learn from their past mistakes but sometimes even if they experienced worst cases, they still continue doing it, repeatedly.

That's why now I usually won't bet anymore if my favorite team is playing, not without reason because I'm afraid of being disappointed. The favorite team loses, the bet also loses, so you are disappointed twice. Cheesy
Moreover, when we bet on our favorite teams, we sometimes go against the grain, betting not based on analysis but based on feelings.
Yes, that is a double shot on the chest, a double frustration you would have to swallow. Personally, I cheer for Botafogo brazilian club. Thankfully I didn't place a bet for them this year, even though I considered doing this for a while when the team was still winning their matches. But imagine if I did, besides losing my bet on Botafogo as champion of Brasileirão 2023, I would have also suffered seeing the team I most like going from top 1 position, and remaining there for a long time of the championship, to fifth position in the end, only losing and tying matches from a certain moment of the championship on.

I know many people have faced this situation, because they placed bets for Botafogo, trusting the club with all their hopes. And now I'm pretty sure they are never going to do this again on their lives, because this specific event wasn't just frustrating, it was traumatizing!

Feeling stressed and disappointed if we lose a bet is normal, especially when we are watching, of course our mood will be ruined when watching a match. I also often do that, if I lose a bet, I feel lazy to watch the match. Being disappointed doesn't mean we are not ready to lose money in betting, but because we no longer have the passion to watch and for me that is a normal thing.

Everyone has different views about this, to be honest, I'm a big fan of Chelsea, but because currently their performance is very inconsistent, I'm too lazy to place bets when they play, I prefer to bet on the matches they play. by Man City or other big teams, just like you I also don't want to lose twice (lose feelings and also betting money lol)
in sports betting, those who often win are those who use analysis (not feelings) when placing bets, because using feelings in betting will only have a bad impact on the results of the bet, so never bet with feelings, always use analysis.
I think that a true and loyal fan of his team does not need to bet on the match. This is completely unnecessary. A bet causes a skew of feelings between sincere ones, coming from the heart, and gambling ones, coming from a bet on a gambling site. If we make a big bet, it will cloud our mind, we will only want the result and the process of playing our favorite team may lose interest. It’s better not to experience this and just enjoy the game, enjoy every moment, worry, grab your head, applaud, thank the team, this is better than any bets. It's like a little life, it's priceless if you truly love your team. At least that's how I see it.

Just trying to get the communities opinion based on their experience about the topic.

Personally, a a bettor, I find it very stressful when watching the game you are betting especially if it will end up a losing bet.

If we have the same experience, how do you cope up with that problem, after all, gambling should be fun but why we have this kind of feeling that we feel disappointed when our bet loses?
Well, we definitely don't feel the same way, that is, you and I, for me watching a match I have a bet on is always very exciting, even when my team of losing, I still feel excitements though in a different way which I can't refer to as stressful, maybe I don't know what actually to call it, but I honestly know what I feel.

All it takes to enjoy watching a game you have a bet on, is to make sure you do not over bet, and by that, I mean that, you should not bet more than you are ready or can afford to loose, what I usually do is consider my money lost even before I place a bet, this way, I don't feel very bad when the team I have my bet on is losing their game, I just consider it all fun and exciting most especially when I am watching the game  with friends or family who are into sports as well.

It only becomes stressful when the amount staked is quite high and you're unsure about that bet but still you've just placed it. Regardless of whether I bet or not, if I really like the match I'd definitely going to enjoy watching it but it's more of course thrilling when I have bet on it. That sums up the joy that you have when you do it and you bet for it. That's why if you think that you cannot attain to watch a match that you bet for, simply don't watch it. And there are bettors that have rituals for themselves that they don't have to watch their matches because they believe that they're going to lose if ever they do, so they choose not to.

Well, all of these are for entertainment if it is with these sports but when my money is on it, it changes everything and becomes more than an entertainment and I believe that most of us are the same on it, right?
So, if your main purpose is to have fun. Do all your bets and never mind whether you win it or not because you choose to watch it and just enjoy the game. Otherwise, you're adding pressure to yourself because you are thinking of your bet and setting aside to enjoy the seat and the game.
Mindset matters. Don't let betting's risk-reward nature fool you. Remember to never bet more than you can lose. This is prudent gambling's first rule. This is a marathon, so keep stakes low.

About game enjoyment. Bets create excitement, but don't let them eclipse sports' true joy. Stop betting if your heart is racing and palms are sweating. A bright, flashing neon sign indicates overdoing it. Sports are about emotion, excitement, and sometimes just watching great athletes.

Final thing: rituals and superstitions. They're human coping mechanisms for unknown consequences. They shouldn't control your behavior. Bets should be calculated, not based on fear or irrational assumptions. Stay calm, clever, and remember that it's all about enjoying the game, regardless of your bet.
We can't stop those gamblers no matter how many times we give a reminder about them gambling only with what they can afford to lose. They're still moving on a lot from what they can afford to what they can't afford to lose because they think that the ratio should be like that. That the more capital or bankroll they have, the more chance of winning. They are not wrong with that but that doesn't give them the guarantee that it's going to happen just because they've got a lot.

There's so much to learn from those people that have learned with gambling. Those that have lost that much because they're too hyper with their decisions and never stopped to have a second thought whether they're going to continue it or not. Basically, those gamblers that are enjoying while they bet or not are the ones that can control themselves and at the same time, they've got money but are aware of what they're doing and before making a decision.

Yes, no doubt such a feeling can be frustrating, but what could be more frustrating is if the game you were watching was the last game on your betting slip, and the team you gambled on were winning not until 89 minutes before an equalizing goal scored made by the opposite team, which resulted to you losing your entire betting slip. Then that's what could be more frustrating.
But however, when we gamble and watch the same game, it puts us into a state of panic, simply because our money has been tied to a certain club/team who we anticipate to perform better, for us to reap a reward, unlike when we just watch a game we do not gamble on, as it places us im a free state of mind.
Have advantage with watching the match game betting get the opportunity with teams performance and make early cash out or waiting until the end of match, usually with sport betting in Stake I have optional to cash out early before end the game match and watching teams bet potential for winning or not depend their performance. Get more under pressure such as manager when looking our team bet on frustrated position get conceded early or opponent teams keep pressure and more offensive. Likely push up our adrenaline when watching teams bet and need to get right choose later after watching the match will our team bet has chance for winning or not?

For single bet is easily for watching the match with bet team but for multiple bet its difficult exactly when match play in the same time which one team have to watch.

But I also often avoid watching the matches I use to place bets. This prevents me from experiencing stress throughout the match and not being too disappointed with the final result. Apart from that, after placing a bet, I usually do other things that can keep me busy and not think about the match. It can work for me and when I see the results of the bet, if I lose, I won't be too disappointed because it's money I can afford that I'm betting on.

That feeling can be frustrating no doubt most you went all out.

It all depends on what we want and how we are being able to make the best opportunity out of it, you can be watching and also holding your bet slip with you to discover the whole thing got ruined and there's nothing you can do about it, that alone is enough to spoil the whole fun, you may also be willing to bet but couldn't meet up due to some personal reasons but have the opportunity of watching live match to discover what you would have played for if you made a bet could have turned a waste as well, gambling remains unpredictable and likewise our feelings when playing bets.

It definitely feels like you're more invested in the game when you have a bet on, even more so when you're at a live sport and can feel the extra atmosphere all around you. I'd only ever place very small bets on such events and I know it could definitely have a more emotional impact if you're placing larger amounts down, which can be both good or bad. Personally it feels like there is plenty of entertainment on offer with sports already, without the need to force betting into the equation and you are not forced to place a bet - so just avoid it if it ever becomes a personal problem for you. If your betting ends up making you feel sad if you lose, then you might be betting too much or should just leave it altogether.

that's normal since you have put a stake in that game. even I would be stressed if the team I bet on is on the verge of losing.

embrace it, there is really nothing you can do about it and there is nothing wrong with feeling disappointed when your bet results in a loss.

In fact i don't think losing money is ever fun so losing especially exposes my own attitude and weakness. As you are one before betting and different after betting. even if the outcome of the bet is such that your mind will evolve such as the joy of losing or winning. Bad stressful thoughts will come upon you after repeated gambling losses and your money is at the last moment. However gambling has a lot of attitude and it manifests itself because of the individual's particular reasons such as the amount of money he or she will tolerate.

Watching a match that you staked can be very stressful and emotional, at this point your expectation will be for the match to favour the option you selected, but when you are watching a match that you didn't stake you mind is always free, if anyone loses you won't be bothered because there is nothing at stake, this is why some gamblers decide not to watch the game they staked because of the stress the past through in watching such game, more especially when this match is approaching due minute and the option they selected has not played yet, this situation can be devastating, I won't advise anyone to watch a match he or she placed bet on because it can tiger someone BP, people always say that bet create excitement, where will the excitement be when you lose, so be wise.

Personally, a a bettor, I find it very stressful when watching the game you are betting especially if it will end up a losing bet.

I can understand what you mean here. It can be stressful watching a game that you’ve placed some good money on a bet and the side you bet on doesn’t seem to want the win that badly and are playing poorly.
I sometimes, think it’s not necessary to get worked up over matches that I’ve placed bets on and skip watching such games. It’s better not to watch such games and just check the outcome later on.
Matches that I placed bets using a considerable amount of money, it’s sometimes much easier for me and my heart not to watch it. It’s not really fun watching the side you bet heavily on play and go on to lose.
This suggestion of not watching it could be so uncomfortable to many because it might be their favourite game or team that is playing at that time, that is the dilemma part of it. Well, that suggestion might be good at times if the person can indeed let go, but for someone like me, I can't let go, so finding the right solution to the problem instead of depriving myself of the fun is the answer. What I do is to caution myself, after all, it is me and my money, so I speak to myself to comport myself in such a way that I don't react based on the outcome of the game. After all, in this situation, it is not that you will lose every time, there are times you gain and this should be the consolation for the person. In my experience with football, to be specific, I win more than I lose, so when it even comes to the losing one that I bet and I am watching, it is not so hard for me to summon the courage and overlook things. Besides, I always consider emotion as a weakness, and it gets uglier and speaks of how weak the person is when such is letting it out and passing aggression to others or letting it be too obvious in his behaviour afterwards.
