Personally, a a bettor, I find it very stressful when watching the game you are betting especially if it will end up a losing bet.

If we have the same experience, how do you cope up with that problem, after all, gambling should be fun but why we have this kind of feeling that we feel disappointed when our bet loses?

Simple answer: it is because money is involved.

Take away the monetary aspect of gambling, then everything would be bleak and boring. The potential of a person winning big is what makes gambling so attractive to users. Given that a monetary aspect is involved, this also contributes to the adrenaline feeling whenever people bet and risk their money. After all, gambling is mostly about luck- watching your odds win/lose can make you feel both excited and anxious at the same time in which some people crave for such feeling.

In conclusion, when money is involved, then people would feel anxious about their bets. If they win the bet, then they would feel ecstatic; but if they lose, then the feeling of regret and revenge are mostly the initial reaction to people.

Honestly, watch a sports match without betting then the satisfaction won't reach 100% lol. I will definitely immediately place a bet if the team I idolize is competing and if the team that I chose went loses, then I don't really bother thinking about it, I will accept the loss. There's no point in thinking too hard about a bet we've lost, move on from that and continue again tomorrow, that's the best way to treat the trauma caused by losing gambling.

in this scenario it depends on how a bettor views gambling, if only to try his luck using the amount of money he can afford to lose, I am sure losing will not make him angry or stressed, but on the contrary, if a bettor uses his money to make a profit or hopes to win with big odds, of course every defeat will make him emotional and cause stress on his mind. this incident is very common because a bettor in sports betting thinks this type of betting is very easy to make money or get a profit but still there is always a surprise which we can call luck where the favorite team is defeated by a weak team and in the end the bet is lost. and with incidents like this, bettors should think again before betting because even though this is sports betting, luck still plays an important role when surprises come.

and for myself to overcome this, if I really want to get consistent profits, I usually use a budget that can afford to lose, after that choose a single bet, focus on teams that have bigger chances, it's easy and dont trust small odds too much because sometimes small odds are like a trap and can lose when surprises come.
always think that this is just a bet even though we hope to win but we will not be able to beat the bookmaker to continue to get consistent wins and always think that this is just entertainment and focus on watching the match on your favorite team.

For me it depends on what I'm betting on and how much I'm betting.  Let's say I'm getting ready to watch a Thursday night NFL game and it's sort of a boring game, I may place a bet simply to make the match that much more enjoyable to watch.  If I didn't have any "skin in the game", it would be much less of interest to me.  On the other hand I'll place bets on games that I really want to watch that I sometimes will turn off because the stress is just too much for me.  I try not to fall in to this category, but it happens.

I think we can agree that we're more having fun when we don't have a bet and we are watching our friend losing or your bet wasn't accepted because it was already close, lol. One thing that we tend to mind when we have bet is the hope that you can win sometimes without enjoying the game at all especially when it's about sports. I think that's nomal if we feel upset if we lost, it's not normal if you still feel upset if you win. I mean, that's the default.

It depends on our habits when watching matches. If you were previously unfamiliar with betting and have never placed a bet, then this watching activity will still be exciting. However, when we already know and place bets, then when you just watch without placing a bet, the sensation and adrenaline when watching the match will decrease. We are so used to betting that eliminating this when we watch a match becomes very difficult. Because sometimes when watching the match it becomes a little empty.

If you feel stressed when you lose, it means that you like betting more than watching the excitement of the game between the two teams. And to overcome this, what needs to be changed is your mindset towards betting, as much as possible you have to think that you are making bets so that you always get sensation and adrenaline, as well as more excitement when watching the match. Not to seek profit.

If you can't relax and enjoy the match when having placed a bet on it, I think you are more concerned about the bet than the match itself, potentially because you are gambling with money you don't want to or can't lose at all... And it will remain like this while you maintain this mindset.

I believe the only way to be able to have some fun watching the match and betting on it at same time, it's to not care about the money. That is, you already made the bet knowing you could lose that money, so if it happens, it's fine, as this budget was already directed to gambling. So watch the game like you would if there weren't any bets involved. And maybe at the end of the match you will have a good and profitable surprise.

If it's hard to do what I'm saying, try starting with low sums of money wagered on each match.

For most sports fans, watching a match without betting is like vegetables without salt, there is no sensation or can't feel the mixed emotions when not placing a bet. Even some of them watch sports matches because they place bets, not because they want to watch a match. They will feel a different sensation when the team they support scores a goal or doubles their lead, they will be euphoric by celebrating the goal because they think they will win the bet. I really enjoy watching sports matches when placing bets, every time the team I support tries to threaten the opponent's defense area, there is always a very entertaining excitement.

It is quite natural that a gambler places a bet where he expects to win. Because only if he wins, he can earn money on his bet. I think it's really hard to find those types of gamblers who enjoy gambling just for the fun. Although many express it verbally, in reality he expects to win there as it is related to money. But there are many gamblers who don't mind losing because they know there is no point in worrying about losing bets and there are many who are very worried. Gambling is not suitable for those who cannot afford to lose. Moreover, since it is not an income platform, those who use it as a source of e-commerce or gambling for the purpose of making money from it will never enjoy the joy of gambling. After gambling they lose anxiety.

Some time ago I made a topic that dealt with the feeling of my bet, even betting against my favorite team, I realized that I was moving away from the essence of being a fan for a bettor, that is intrinsically the same as what you propose .

The fact of the bet should not influence the fun of the game, in this case there is an ambiguity, but the result does not matter, in any case it is something that you can isolate yourself from in an easy way, You do many bets, so, you have the corresponding daily bets and then look at the profit.

That si, if the heart is involved in one of those bets, get it out of there, that is the solution to  you can sit and watch calmly.

Otherwise, it is the topic that abounds today, many have been interested in a certain sport for the sake of betting, that is fine, if you want to be an expert in betting but a fan should not do it. Wink

If You does, no problem, a fan is devotion his team, in the same way what you do not follow him just because of the result to betting.

Finally, just as you can disappear from online casinos, you can try to watch sports on a weekend without having a bet involved, like we did when we were little, so if you can do it you are a sports fan and not a " interested" in sports for a "filthy" bet.  Smiley

The body of your post didn't really touch or dwell on your topic but however, I understand what you are trying to say.

For me the fun of watching a football match for example is when you don't bet on it because at that time you are free of emotional attachment and you will watch the game without sentiment or attachment and you are able to be free from empathy because of your money on the bet. So I enjoy the game more when I don't stake on it.

Watching with bet is better, you can also take advantage if you're have an interest in live betting. So whenever you feel the team or player has a chance to comeback, you can bet in the half time when the opponent was dominating the game. This will make you has a possibility to earn more since the odds must be higher.

We gamble for fun although many people gamble to earn money. We know and believe that gambling is risky and when we go to gamble we think it is fun but when we lose gambling it hurts us a lot. Because no one can accept losing money.  But if we win it gives us a lot of joy it happens to more or less everyone and will happen in future too. For this we should start gambling with a small amount so that even if we lose, it does not panic us. Because if you panic you will lose control of yourself. And whenever you lose control of yourself, you will suffer more

I think betting and watching matches is very fun, especially if we choose the right bet and win. Especially football, because I like football and I also like playing football so even if the result of my bet wins or loses I can still enjoy the match.
So there are two good points there, when I win the bet and also watching the match becomes more tense and exciting. Indeed, sometimes when I lose and choose the wrong team and lose, I feel annoyed and disappointed. However, that is only for a moment and will also be a correction for me to improve my abilities and also look for the best information to take into consideration.

Betting on a game can make watching more exciting. Whether you're a pro or a beginner, it's a thrilling way to enjoy your favorite sport. When your team wins, you win too! So, feel free to bet on your favorite team and experience the rush of winning. If they lose, it's okay to feel disappointed. But remember, that's just how the game goes.

How can that game not be tense if your bet / money are on the line? No one can remain indifferent from watching such a game. But the viewing process will thoroughly tickle your nerves and give you a pleasant feeling. Isn't that what you started all this for? Smiley Because many gamblers still say that they gamble for fun.

If we have the same experience, how do you cope up with that problem, after all, gambling should be fun but why we have this kind of feeling that we feel disappointed when our bet loses?
Maybe because you lost money, no? Smiley

It's much simpler: the feeling of disappointment arises from the fact that your expectations were not met.

When watching NBA games I like betting on the game because I like the thrills. There's a difference when you just don't care about the result of the game and when you have a bet on the game. I usually bet on the amount of goals in an NBA game so I like them to score more points. If it's a team I like, I can be neutral and just enjoy the game but it has to be a very interesting game.

While in football, if it's there's any team I like that's playing, I can want and enjoy the match without better but uf in neutral in the game I'd prefer to have a bet. Having a bet on the game makes me more invested in that game. If it's a team I support, who is playing I prefer to to bet on the game, let me watch it with a cool head. Lol.

Generally, I feel I'm more into the game when the bet is placed but when there's surety of my loss, the interest is decreased dramatically. Specially on longer game formats.
The watching experience also depends on where and with whom you are watching. What sort of game it  is and is your national or local team is participating. When you are in a crowd or a peer group, the excitement are on next level.
Betting is another uncertainty and excitement you can add on already uncertain and exciting matches.

You have to be optimistic if you bet/gamble, things like what you said don't only happen to you, I also feel the same thing, I certainly feel disappointed when I see the team you bet on lose, However, in the name of gambling, the problem is that winning and losing has become a factor that is often felt by many gamblers.

The point is to watch, bet or not bet, for me it's not a big problem for me, the important thing is that what we bet on must be optimistic and ready to face the consequences if we lose or win.

Obviously it is with bet. Watching would give you entertainment already but since you are here in this industry then probably you are seeking for more; thrill. I do enjoy watching the games since I am into sportsbetting and sports in general. But with bets, things are getting more exciting. There's no need for huge amount, the consequence of losing any amount from wrong assumption is what giving flavor to the experience. However, those who are not into gambling would more likely choose watching alone and without any amount involved.

Because we want to win, even though we treat gambling as a getaway and just want to have fun, we subconsciously want to win a game because it is money that we are going to win, if we want to feel good in gambling we can shake it off and easily move on but if we have winning money in our mind it will take some time to move on.
Gambling is played with emotion and hope, so it's just right that we feel disappointed when losing and excited when losing, it's an emotional roller coaster that is why gambling is addictive because we can feel all the emotions and we feel alive gambling.
Of course, same idea with the phrase 'bet an amount you can afford losing' which is obviously not true. We can only bear the consequence but there will always be the desire to win and to earn profit. Even with the smallest amount, negative feeling will still take place after a loss.
