Almost very open source wallet which you're the holder of the wallet private keys are secure wallet and how safe a wallet is depend on the owner of the wallet because if a wallet is safe and you link the wallet to online virus or keylogger then the wallet is not safe.

That site is biased, Exodus with top anonymity, lol? Ledger and Trezor should be on top, followed by Electrum.
Exodus is great for every day use, but for full time storage look elsewhere.

Blockchain has a high transaction fee....i personally prefer luno. But ultimately, any one can be secure...you can enable 2-factor google authenticator; that would make it really secure

Nope, no online wallet is 'safe', if you do not hold the private keys - you do not control or own the coin.

Also, I lost an account on blockchain.info, no longer there but the BTC still shows.. another story there..

Hardware wallets are not a necessity. The main thing you need is a computer free of any malware and a desktop wallet. Electrum would be the best lightweight wallet.

I couldn't agree more. Blockchain.info is NOT a safe wallet. Anybody investing into Bitcoin and crypto in general needs to understand wallets. It takes 4+ days between the time you start opening an account on a trading platform and the time your bank account is verified and the funds transferred up and available for distribution (here in the US). Newbies need to spend that time reading up on wallets; installing them on their computers and phones; and getting used to the interface.

Blockchain.info has it's place (I suppose) but certainly not as the primary wallet for ones cryptocurrency.

Edit: No offense but it isn't quite intelligent to be saying Electrum is not user friendly. Anyone who knows the basics of Bitcoin is more than capable of using it.

Paper wallet would be good, but i personally use Electrum for offfline and Blockchain for Online. If i had a wallet, likee you, i would for sure use that. So maybde advise him to buy a hardware wallet?

In principle, there are no secure wallets on Android. If you need to save bitcoin for a long time, then it's better to use local wallets, for example Bitcoin Core.

Electrum is not very user-friendly for newbies, so people should take note of that. If you are not planning to store large amounts of bitcoins in web wallets, then Blockchain.info is fine. Use both if you need to, but Blockchain.info is by far the easiest web wallet to use.

I use several methods, including web/desktop/hardware/paper wallets and had no problems with any of them. Store most of your coins <80%+> on paper wallets and experiment with the other options, with the rest of the coins. ^smile^

I agree above.
Avoid any web or web-like app wallet to store your money. Secure is the most important and NO 1 issue you should take care of rather than convenience. You can find a list of wallets here: https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet
And do wallet backup and keep passphrase safe otherwise you could scratch your head years later. It happens a lot of times.
