In my country, most of the most popular sports are soccer and badminton which are always made for betting in gambling, and soccer betting is based on score or choosing a team and badminton betting to choose the player who will win when competing.
and I often bet in that sport when watching with friends.

In our country, Tennis and Soccer is not a common sport and only few people only know that sports, so we usually take bets on basketball and boxing, I like the stakes at boxing and basketball because there are some underdogs and i like to gamble on that like on the fight of Anthony and Ruiz nobody expects that kind of fight and it's very exciting to gamble on that especially when you win because you will get a lots of money from that.

I'm not sure with this but if we will based on the highest number of audiences attending each sport then No. 1 would be football followed by cricket so if we assume those audiences are all engaging with sportsbet then they will be on the top board. It's very hard to tell what sport really got the highest gambling supporters but I will go definitely on sports with seasons/series because they are working in a long term basis in which gamblers can bet routinely unlike MMA and boxing fights that happen occasionally. Popularity is also a big factor to consider so my choice might be between football or basketball .

Actually different countries people love different sports. As an example soccer is so much popular in European countries where people of Asia loves cricket very much. American's have great taste on basketball. But soccer relatively much popular than any other game in all over the world. For this reason i think it has got big number of gambling supporters rather than any other sports. From my side like it for its limited time frame (90 min) where some other sports take much longer time to get the result.

Here, we don't have a strong  passion and knowledge on another kind of sports (obviously there are people who likes and are good in these sports)

Turely basketball has quite an audience but I don't think we should be judging because of the thread being made here in the forum.

And you are right about boxing, it population is gradually increasing over the years.

I dunno why most people refer to it as soccer yet at the beginning it was called Football.

The most popular gambling supporter in my continent is that of football and we all fell In love for. I have been reading through almost all the replies and posts here for around 30 minutes and the majority of them stick onto Soccer. But does soccer really be a edge of seat gambling experience like Basketball or Cricket? I have been an ardent fan of Basketball (mostly NBA) but was also a pro cricketer. Both the games give an edge of seat experience to watch and gamble. The game can turnover to either side at any moment of time unlike football. Soccer do have a strong fan-base among gambling fans, but gambling companies can have a fair share of profit if it comes to Cricket or basketball.

A "Point Guard"s role is very much important in a basketball game and they can change the game totally by creating chances to the other players in his team. So the gambler can't be sure to bet on a team to win at any point of time. There may be strategies to win the game, but it doesn't always favor the gambler. Similarly is the game of Cricket. A batsman can change the game to his favor or to the opponent's favor. Recently, if you have seen through the World Cup finals we weren't really sure who could be the winner of the title right till the last moment. Though I am not really much into Soccer/Football, but AFAIK they don't give a edge of seat experience either to the gambler or to the audience.

The answer here is Football. Reason why it's football is because is because it has more fans, there are popular events like the World Cup, UEFA, EUROPA, Premier and so on. Betting sites also offers a lot of betting picks for football games.

Mosy of the gamblerd choosing the sports of basketball and even me but I like them all but basketball is really different and every game in the NBA many gamblers want to bet to their different favorite teams. Many people really love basketball and we know that games is most popular sports in the world so it not shocking if basketball will players choose im betting through online.

Boxing is obviously next to soccer in terms of popularity and those with so much supporters. I remember how I knew names of great wrestlers growing up and it’s not the same as now that I am all grow in short at a point I was considering becoming a wrestler lol but it still cannot be compared to  soccer.

Soccer is well accepted, played and enjoyed by many people in all part of the world and it is definitely the game with the highest number of supporters, I am one of the supporters because I have made money from gambling on soccer than other bets. Is College Football more popular than the NFL in terms of betting? Might be a stupid question but I know that College Football has a huge following in the US and some stadiums have capacities of 100.000 or more. I believe Michigan has a huge stadium for the College Football team.

Based on the country I live in, you said it right! We just love basketball here. And we love boxing even more! Especially when it is Manny Pacquiao's fight, you can expect that the whole country is tuned-in to their televisions. The roads are free from traffic and maybe even the bandits are watching the fight, right? Because as far as I remember, with Pacman's recent fight against Thurman, there were no crimes reported.

Anyway, globally, I'd still say those two: basketball and boxing; as well as soccer. Though I am not a huge fan of soccer, it's pretty obvious that it has lots of supporters too, either merely fans or sports gamblers.

Yeah I think so, basketball is only famous in a few countries like United States, but soccer is more thorough in almost every country, soccer is a favorite sport because it is a cheap sport to be play, you only need a ball and a field you can already play soccer. from that we know that soccer has the biggest supporters in the world.

For me the sports that has a massive gambling suppoter are boxing,  soccer and, basketball . Because this sports are very interesting and at the same time very entertaining , the excitement are there especially if you have money on the line. And this 3 sports has the most famous people in the world which is reason ppl gamble on it.
