If I am not making a mistake, the XRP has occupied the second place when the price of Ethreum was around $75. The potential of ETH will be investable after the fully completed version of ETH 2.0 but the altcoins will not climb the ATH price even if the ETH reaches the ATH in the next 2 years. Value is flexible in financial markets and it changes constantly.

I agree. I do expect that after the big event which is the Bitcoin halving that will happen next year which is 2020, Bitcoin will regain from the loss it have take for a long run and will rise up once again to the top of the market even though it is still on top despite of the price fall. What I mean is that is will be top again for the big come back in terms of the price value and popularity. I am pretty sure that because of that, Altcoins that are basing their price from Bitcoin will surely booms out their prices from what they currently have right now. Definitely not Tron. What's exciting for Tron ahead? I mean with all the PR stunt that Justin pulled recently I'm a bit skeptical of him.The new year doesn't look good for Ethereum either as the recently Ice Age "mistake" forces user to endure another hard fork in early January when people are supposedly on holiday. Definitely not a good start but I would still bet on Ethereum for the rest of the year. Haven't heard much from other altcoins.

Ethereum is also the number two most popular coin for people to invest in at the moment. That is a pretty important measurement to determine what may be the most valuable altcoin in the future. It's currently sitting at around 1/10th the market cap of Bitcoin. I think it will stay at number 2 until something even more interesting comes along and takes over. So, I would assume Ethereum will be the most valuable. Especially with the new updates coming soon.

Why does it matter which coin is the most valuable? All the price tells you is the relative scarcity, not the adoption.
For instance, perhaps a coin like Litecoin is worth more than EOS, or even have a larger market cap than EOS, but does that actually imply that there is more adoption going on in terms of LTC than EOS? Possibly not. Similar logic can be applied to other coins of the same nature.
Instead of measuring price, why not measure a coin's merits by adoption and the utility that it brings to the community? I for one think that IOTA may be on the forefront of this, if the tangle technology can be proven to be dependable.

TRX - Tron will be best choice for the year of 2020, EOS should also be consider as a valuable coin, No doubt for Binance coin for gaining value day by day. NEO and Stellar some where stuck or they might not consider as a 2020's stuff ! Underling will be TRON

I think that Bitcoin is still the most valuable in terms holding it for a long time but there are some altcoins are worth it to hold and good for making a profits just like Ethereum, Ripple, Vet, and Deeponion.

For me there are a lot of valuable alts on the market, mostly all top coins, for example I consider valuable alts - ether, litecoin, bnb and others.
yes, top altcoin is more promising than the others. they would be possible the valuable altcoinso, This is just matter of how we take them to our own sake. bcz I think it is useless if there are many good altcoin but we can't take profit from them
