Hello. I'd like to post even though I don't have any good reason to be let out I like bitcoin !

I'd like to access the forum. I know a fair amount about BTC(Still learning)  but I only have one way to buy and thats with my visa or paypal I need to find someone who will exchange with me or wants to exchange with me. I've been using tor and btc for over 3 months now browsing the hidden wiki and reading articles let me know please.

I would love to be let out also. I have some new projects and would love to post them in the project section. Thanks!

Hi there, I've been following bitcoin for months now but only recent set up a miner, and trader accounts. I was hoping to make a post regarding cavirtex.com and, after hours of reading and fiddling, how I would recommend that fellow Canadians go about getting bitcoins. I'm here primarily to post about the artwork I'm making available for purchase via bitcoin, so it wouldn't make sense for me to engage in many discussions beyond that. You can see my work at my website where you can also find my bio and information about my work history. I'm currently just planning on taking payment the old fashion way, by sending out a payment address until I find a merchant service or plugin that I'm comfortable with. You can see how I've implemented that here. But I'd also be cool with someone just sending me an email to make an order.

I'll let others go into detail about deterministic wallets and mining. I just want to be a part of the economy.

After lurking on your forums for a month, building-troubleshooting-finetuning a couple of mining rigs and mining little over 20BTC, I believe I finally have something to contribute I check and skim sites periodically and I am a pretty fast reader, so it might take me a long time to log the 4 hours of "probation" time - I am kindly requesting an early whitelisting.

I've been a lurker for most of my exposure to Bitcoin. I did finally create an account and make a post before all the trolling episodes started. This was around the time Bitcoin experienced price crashes. However, I didn't continue posting.

I believe I have the answer to the most perplexing question for Bitcoin: namely how to grow it.

I've been studying, thinking over, and formulating my ideas for a very long time now, and I'm finally ready to introduce them to the larger Bitcoin community. Please feel free to ask me any item to test my knowledge on Bitcoin, especially in regard to economics, and I'll be happy to show I'm not trolling.

To give an example, one earlier reason given for the potential failure of Bitcoin is that it's deflationary. As the exchange price goes up it gives people more incentive to hold rather than spend their Bitcoins. This was posted in a Quora answer to Bitcoin's success by someone calling themself an "Internet Economist". Out of the many doubt and arguments people had against Bitcoin this was one of the most solid. Indeed, that is currently what the community is experiencing now. I'd estimate 80-90% of the Bitcoin community is holding their Bitcoin with speculation in back of their mind. They are extremely hesitant to spend any Bitcoin now which might be worth much much more later. The famous Bitcoin pizza purchase is a prime example of that.

I believe I have a solution to the non-spending speculation problem, and much more important information to share as well. It's for this reason that I'm requesting whitelisting.

I'm not meaning to troll you or anything, but how do we know you are legit. The site was made with a free website builder (Weebly) and you have only made one post in the forums.

What other projects have you worked on? When did you become involved with BitCoin?

Okay, so here's my brief plea for release from this little kiddie corral...

I write software for the web, a little on the desktop, and for microcontrollers (Arduino); I've written a file hosting site from scratch, a small content management system from scratch, and all sorts of various gizmos for Arduino like a SMBus laptop battery diagnostic tool and a central A/C thermostat (in a pinch). I'm also responsible for a little computer-repair omnitool called FalconFour's Ultimate Boot CD (google that or F4UBCD), which is primarily focused on usability and design, not just cramming a thousand tools onto a disc (though I like to think I accomplished both).

My intent on any forum is to bring up the issues nobody knows how to describe, solve the problems nobody thought to analyze, and ask the questions people are too afraid to ask. On this forum in particular I'd like to address a few things on my mind in particular: the Phoenix miner's CPU usage (unable to find info in the long, cluttered monolithic thread without a search function), Phoenix's interaction with nVidia Optimus (which negates all desktop-responsiveness issues on my laptop, so what other settings can be optimized to throw responsiveness out the door?), and the Bitcoin client's dangerous use of a single, "hidden" wallet.dat file for its management of a user's balance which I'd really love to explain in better detail...
