I've been here on the forums for a little while, mostly reading. I mine occasionally and I've bought a few bitcoins for personal use.

I'd really like to be able to reply to the topics in other areas of the Forum that are not "newbie" enabled.

Please consider whitelisting me. Smiley Thanks!

Hi,

my name is Dyrk and I've been mining BTC since early June. I'm not a big poster but am looking to get whitelisted so that I can post positive/negative feedback when doing business here. I have already completed one successful transaction with TECSHARE as can be seen here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.454437. I would like to be able to provide positive feedback in his thread as well.

Thank you.

Hi there,

I'm interested in bypassing the 5 post 4 hour limit to contribute to the FPGA mining thread.  I have made some modifications to the publicly available FPGA code (and software), and wanted to discuss it with the developers before attempting to commit it to their repository.

I've added an entry to https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison#FPGA_Devices that compares my contribution (see Xilinx XC6VLX240T-1FFG1156) to the other submissions.  While it won't win any $/MHash awards, it might be useful for anybody with the same development boards laying around at work.

Thanks!

May I please be white listed.  I have been mining for a few months now.  Never posted, but read the forums often.

I am interested in volunteering my services as a product engineer for the below project.

Was hoping to reply to a person having an issue with slush's pool and him trying to utilize multiple gpu's under a single worker account.  He can't do that and that is why it is giving him so many stales.  Also wanted to put in requests for some android utilities located within.  Please white list.

Hello,

Been following the scene for around 3 months now. Joined up recently because I had a issue, which for once, hadn't already been solved.

My issue is here. So you can see that I'm not soley here for trolling or spam. I have also helped out in a few other threads.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=post;topic=36182.0;num_replies=13

If not whitelist me, atleast help me by moving the thread into the miner support forum or mining software forum.

Thanks.

Hey!

I would love to become a full time member here.
I've been learning a lot about bit coins and all the precaution I need to take guarding them as well.
I just love how its treated just like the stock market and there is definitely money to be made here.

Thanks!!

I have what I think is a bug report for cgminer 1.5.3

http://oppie.homelinux.com/screenshot.png

I want to know why it prints a $ character in CPU 0: line.

CPU 0: [1.$ / 0.9 Mh/s] [Q:56  A:0  R:1  HW:0  E:0%  U:0.00/m]

I apologize for my poor english.
I  have mining for 2.5 months, use 6 GPU (3X6870 & 2X5770 & 16850) @1.5Gh/s, and consuming about 1KW power.
This week, I worked at these topics:

Modular FPGA Miner Hardware Design Development
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/modular-fpga-miner-hardware-design-development-22426

and
Official Open Source FPGA Bitcoin Miner
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/official-open-source-fpga-bitcoin-miner-last-update-april-14th-2013-9047

I spend sevel days and understand appox. 95% about these thread.

I'm a phd. in china (mainland), I major in High Performance Computing.  My strong point is computer hardware development and fpgas. So I think I can do some work in the fpga mining project.

please let me in the white list.

Thank you.

Hey my name is James Fletcher.

I have mined 0.4 btc and 40 nmc, I have used diablo miner and I have also setup a bitcoin daemon on MAC OS X.

Recently I wrote a PHP / C++ gambing client for bitcoin using JSON RPC. (http://bitgambler.sytes.net/) (Source Code Available)

I am a common idler at most of the bitcoin channels on Freenode known as "shLONG".

I've done the long boring process of registering to bitcoin OTC.

I was a bit obsessed with bitcoin at one point, not so much any more as I feel i've reached a bassline in learning about bitcoin, but still interested in the future development.

So yeah, any chance I can be white listed?

Thanks

James

Edit: Basically i've near the point of turning off the bit gambler server and discontinuing any further bitcoin projects because i've had zero exposure. I'm hoping that posting bitgambler in the projects section of this website will help to get some exposure and some feedback so that my bitcoin projects and developments continue and don't go to waste. If I cant do this, I will have to turn of the server, it's costing me money for nothing - this is the last chance it's got.

I would like to ask some questions about Ixcoin in the off-topic section of this forum, as there doesn't seem to be any help in the newbies section, which is understandable as Ixcoin is so new. Do note that I've been lurking these forums since may, and started mining at the end of June, so I already have quite some experience with Bitcoins in general. This means I will be able to answer plenty of questions from other people as well. Thanks! Smiley

Here's my Ixcoin thread in the Newbies section: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ixcoin-difficulty-36418
