Of course, this is not recommend by workers, let alone drinking alcoholic beverages, son't do things thats are which is not allowed within the scope of work if you don't want to be sanction or fired for doing thing that are infringed by anyone whose superior will definitely not accepted seeing their subordinate doing that during working hours, unless you do it outside of works then it won't be a problem and won't interfere with your work.

Yeah, although the thing is that if you manage to do those things in a more controlled way, you might be able to get away with it.

If you only gamble at work from time to time, it's not really a big deal.

The issue appears when you start consuming too much time. That's the key. Because you lose focus and attention, which are critical and scarce resources.
But still, within the scope of work, whether you want to hide it or by controlling it, over time you can find out, whether your friend or boss finds out, and if your friend doesn't like you, your friend could report it to your boss, so your job could be threatened just because you gambled on the spot work, in my opinion this is a trivial problem that over time becomes a big problem, you may at first just take the time to gamble but over time if you feel safe you will spend more time because you feel more fun gambling at work if you have like this will certainly be a big problem for your work.

Yes, because you think too much about gambling so you can't stop yourself from gambling even though you're working, it's better to stop that action if you want to keeping working at your placed, don't take too big risky because you're just an employee who has to comply with work regulation.

Yes, that's true, just like the saying "as clever as you are at hiding the corpse flower, over time you will smell it too". This could happen, in my opinion, in the work environment there will definitely be people who don't like us because basically humans tend to have an attitude of not wanting to lose, so it's possible that there will be people who are like referees who only look for our mistakes and report them to their superiors. However, even so, you should not gamble in the work environment or during work hours, because it is an unethical act.

I agree with you, in the beginning you may only spend a short time gambling, but it can turn into a long time if the gambling you do has hypnotized us, although there are some people who think "it depends on their job" but in my opinion this still shouldn't be done. during working hours, because basically we have to work professionally, do our best for the job in order to get a promotion or salary, our superiors will also definitely see our good performance. It's impossible for superiors to remain silent if they see that our performance is good, especially if it has a big positive impact on the company.

The work is not same for all the people,Some people are at the top position in their office. For them the office will provide the separate work room,So they can easily use the gambling at their work place. But to the gamblers who work as the team members will be monitor by the manager or the owner of the company. So they can’t pay the gambling with peace of mind, peace of mind was the important one for the gamblers to play the good game and to make the big money from the same gambling site.

The friends or colleagues in your company may monitor your game at the work place. They also use that way of approaching manger for the benefit and show your game play to the manger. Finally it leads to the termination of your job.It may be done by your own friends for the benefit of the appraisal and for the abroad opportunity by skipping you by showing the game play in the office hours which reduce your fame to the company.

Yeah, you're right.

At the end of the day you have to be smart about your life.

If you are at work, simply work and don't do anything else, gambling or social media while working could potentially backfire at you, so why bother.

It's the safest approach to simply work at your work hours.

It’s surely the safest approach. Why do anything else during work hours than the actual work assignments and for which you’re being paid.
Social media would only distract you from whatever tasks you’ve got and you’ll end up burning more time than initially intended. Gambling in my opinion, is much worse at after placing bets and maybe losing out on the bets placed, it could emotionally affect the person which could in turn affect the work performance of the person.
I doubt anyone would still feel motivated at work after losing some good money while gambling at work.

     -   That's right, let's put gambling in the right place. It seems like there is no difference in driving a four-wheel vehicle if you don't drive while using a mobile phone. Because it can cause an accident that can cost us our lives in an instant.

It's the same with work: when we play gambling online at the same time, the real consequences of that are that we or you can lose your job just because we want to play gambling. There is nothing stopping us from gambling, as long as we put it in the right place.

We should be able to differentiate between work and play. And because gambling is included in the game and not an activity that we must do immediately, we should be able to choose the right time to gamble.
We cannot take the risk of gambling while we are at work. That is the same as putting us at risk and will also result in us being fired from our jobs. Work and fun can go together, but we know how risky gambling can be, which can make us lose control.
If they were truly responsible, it might still be possible, but gambling while at work is not necessary.

that's right, a worker must be able to differentiate between priorities and entertainment. when they work, it means they have to focus on what they are doing, don't focus on other things that have nothing to do with their current job. if a worker chooses to gamble or do other activities, it means he is not focused on his work and this could be a reason for his boss to fire him and replace him with someone who wants to take his place who is more focused on work.

and a wise person should be able to position himself when he should gamble and when he should work.

I have several colleagues and I personally gambler, so far we have been fine even though we work and use the time to play several rounds of games.
There is no worry, no panic because we just entertain ourselves and use as much money as we can afford to lose.
It all just depends on how each gambler has an attitude and can work well, being professional at work is the main thing but that doesn't mean we can't do things that entertain ourselves in work environment.

You must be doing office type work of job and therefore you and your colleagues get time to gamble. If your job is to sit on the table all day in front of the computer then no doubt you will find time to gamble and it won't effect your job too. But again this depend upon job to job basis, like if someone is doing a physical job, then it may be hard to get time to gamble at the same time during the working hours.

I still think that gambling at work, is not a best of the thing to do. Even if you have time to gamble, maybe you will not be able to enjoy the game properly while being in the office.
Wouldn't gambling is better and fun when you are free at the comfort of your home. By the way, every person has their own preferences, so i will not enforce my point of view on others neither i should say that my way of doing gambling (at home) is better.

There is a story in the company where I work now that a guy who played slots on the job was fired a year ago. At the same time, it was the boss. It turned out that due to problems in his family, he was extremely depressed. Every working day at lunch, he went to his car, got drunk and played slots there. And then he would come back and, having no strength to stop, he would play in the workplace.

I don't understand his logic - how could you lose such a career..?

You cant really say that it wouldnt really be a big deal, even we do say that these actions arent really that too big or something we can say that it would be just minimal but still there's a chance that you would really be able to make yourself putting up into the risks on losing possibly your job. Its just fine for you if you do able to make or do your work well and efficiently but we do know that not all would really be having that kind of assurance because you cant be sure if your fellow co workers wont really be telling your boss or simply making out those complaints which we know that not all would really be our friend in work times.

This is why it would really be that best that you should really be that playing when you are at home and not on your workplace. It would be better that you should really be that
be having that advanced thinking rather than on making yourself that too confident but you are already putting up yourself on such risks.
This is why it would be best that you should really be that having that kind of approach.

The gambler who had the good environment in the work place can use to play the gambling in the work place. But he need to understand the fact the gambling is not based on fake money.Until he had good environment in the work place, the gambler can skip of playing the gambling in their work place. The betting should not made with the panic of being captured by their owner or manger in the work place. This panic of gambling may leads to the gambler to loss their money by the random betting in the gambling site. The gamblers can use their house to play the gambling without any panic games in the gambling site.
Moreover, gambling at work is natural thing to happen because gamblers will use their time, even if it is short, to fulfill every betting desire.
This will not interfere with anything as long as they can be professional about their work.
Not all workers will spend lot of time with what they have to do because some workers have free time which will cause boredom if they don't do anything.
Here they like to gamble so obviously whenever they have time and have certain amount of money ready to spend lost then will gamble at that time.

It just that I don't understand what you said regarding counterfeit money.
On gambling sites we deposit money with a private wallet so there will be no involvement of fake money, maybe you can explain little about this.

I have several colleagues and I personally gambler, so far we have been fine even though we work and use the time to play several rounds of games.

Distinguishing work from play is the issue, not gambling. Set limits and keep track of time. It checks how mature and responsible you are. As individuals, it is our duty to keep our personal actions, such as gambling, separate from our work duties. Work and fun can go together as long as we give each one their own time and care. So we can relax without giving up our work ethic or getting less done. Instead of banning, the discussion should focus on how to promote balanced and responsible behavior

If I had a good job, I wouldn't risk gambling at work. I don't want to experience problems even though my work environment supports me if I gamble. There will be people who don't like what I do, in this case I gamble.
Those who don't like this will report me to my superiors so that I can get sanctions from the company. I have seen this many times, especially with my friends working in companies where competition between employees is tight.
Some openly don't like their work friends, but some friends secretly put their attack. I don't want to experience that.

Yeah as no employer wanted to see their employees doing unrelated things especially those that involved in gambling during duty hours as it is against the company's policy. As an employee I followed every single rules and regulation not to brag this but yeah gambling don't work with me while I am on duty. I can do it on my free time if I want to but no.
Let alone gambling, I can't even open my social media account whenever my boss is around though he won't scold me he always says nicely that I need to be productive to his company whenever I am done with my work for that day, my leisure time with the computer should be related to my work about researching for its improvements and looking for suggestions to further improve it. Nevertheless, That's what we should do while we are at work because we cannot afford to lose our jobs just because we are eager to play online games or just look at our social media account while our boss is monitoring us.
We cannot take the risk of gambling at work. We shouldn't gamble while we're working, even if our boss doesn't scold us if he sees it.
We must be able to separate things that are priorities from things that are entertainment so that we don't play gambling that we only use as entertainment. Companies also don't want to see their employees gambling because they pay us to do good work.
We must understand the situation and conditions and work well and not do things that are not related to the company, especially while gambling.
That will only cause us problems later.

There's a right time for everything on which it would really be just that normal that you would really be needing to have that kind of mindset on which you shouldnt really be mixing up your work time
from your leisure time because once you do then you would really be finding out yourself into some potential problems on which this isnt something that should really be done in the first place.
If you are that someone whose really that going after for fun then you could always have some fun after work. Dont put up your work at risk just because you do have that gambling urge into those moments or times. Come to think that you've been able to make some income with your day job and it is really just that too risky or not worth on getting fired out because on what you have done.

Also if on your job you are responsible for managing any amount of money, gambling at work could lead others to think that you are not managing the money of the company as you should and an investigation could ensue.

We must remember than an honest person not only needs to be this way, they also need to keep the image that they are honest, as this saves you a lot of trouble down the line, so when at your job keep a professional image at all times and once you are out of it you can gamble as much as you want.

Yeah, that would be a massive red flag for a person working with direct access to company money.

A gambler will always find a way to try to move money around to cover their losses.

If they have access, they will move that money at some point.

Exactly! There's no employer that will allow employee to use their time while at work and being paid. For sure, people who are doing it are all aware of the risk of being caught by their employer. Gambling should be done outside your workplace and in your spare time, together with your spare money.

I do see your point in terms of extra time, and if you are not doing it, gambling can be addicting, so better if you can still control yourself not to engage better not.
Gambling at work is very bad and we should try as much as possible to eliminate that attitude because it could easily makes someone to lose trust at work since such person can be seen as irresponsible worker and of course every employer doesn't want to see their worker being gambling at duty which some company highly prohibits that such attitude and that company could be at risk of losing higher amount of money because a gambler could used their resources to gamble.
Also if on your job you are responsible for managing any amount of money, gambling at work could lead others to think that you are not managing the money of the company as you should and an investigation could ensue.

To me personally gamblers can't hide their Identity even though they would try to hide themselves after some while it would show in them because gambler's always has spirits that control's them, the best is to stop gambling because they wouldn't know when they could start manifesting their characters. In most cases, when a work of most the reputable oil firm caught gambling outside and someone reported them to their management within a week after thorough investigation such person is being fired for exhibiting and putting a gambling practice outside there meaning there could be a day where company's funds will be at risk or possibly a property or items could be sold out for satisfying his gambling acts.
