We all have free time at work actually, but the question here, how can we handle the feeling of our gambling result? I know everyone is aware that there's an effect when we are gambling, depending on the result, when we lose, that will make us sad or disappointed, and we don't bring that kind of feeling to the company who are paying us on hours and days we work.

They bring in people to work fully, not to gamble, and if they didn't get their expectation, that's a big loss on their revenue.

For sure we will feel guilty on that, aren't we?

I know that it depends a lot from kind of work, but I dont admire working at work. Even if a person is good at multitasking, employer did not hire employee for gambling. If a person has free time to gamble at work, that means that person hasnt done his tasks fully. Even if I have a free time at work, I would rather help my collegue, than gamble at work.

Gambling at work, even for fun, can cut concentration like butter. No matter how subtle, someone will notice. Losing work? Quite risky. Then, gambling involves calculated risks and quick decisions. Is productivity possible if your mind is continually wandering to that poker game or slot machine? Like driving while texting - you're there but not really. What if gambling is a mental gym? Probability, risk assessment, and psychological insights are used. I'm not supporting workplace gambling (really, don't!), but we can learn from it. Use your excitement and strategic thinking at work. Finding the right balance between enjoyment and duty. Play safely, work hard, and you may get the best of both worlds

even though gambling is just for fun, believe me, we need focus to be able to enjoy each of our betting sessions, except betting on slot games, just pressing the spin button without needing mental focus.

but if we talk about the risks of gambling at work, there are a lot of risks and one of the things you said is part of the risk because we work in a company together with other employees and we are in a place filled with different people, sometimes lots of people. who are sympathetic to us but sometimes there are also people who dont like us and this is probably what you mean when you gamble at work and are found out by other employees who dont like us, they will definitely be reported to the company owner and will definitely be fired.
If something like this happens, the regret will definitely be very deep, so always think maturely, gamble in the right place, not gamble in the open.

You cant really be able to focus if you would really be playing at work on which you cant really be able to assure yourself that no one would be noticing on what you are doing.
Just like the rest been saying that there would really be chances that you might get reported and you might be able to lose your work if you do keep on doing that. When it comes to efficiency
then it would really that something that couldnt really be noticed. You are really that indeed putting yourself at great trouble if you cant really be able to make yourself work

I didn't do it. I think it makes us not focus on work. Gambling is usually when I gather with those who gamble too. So I can share my experience with them. this is not bad. they always provide interesting experiences, making my gambling more fun and more focused than when I have to gamble while working. However, I am sure that many people also gamble at work, especially those who work in front of a laptop and are bored with their work. they will definitely gamble or watch the game at work.

of course in doing work, of course, we have to concentrate, especially when the work will determine the future of course strong concentration is needed to do it, if there is even a slight mistake that might be fatal to the results that will occur later. someone who has a good mindset, maybe he will do his work professionally and also with full responsibility for what he really has to do, especially in my opinion those who already have a clear job to produce, I think they should work professionally, because with that they can generate clear income.
In my opinion,  someone who works in a casino must also work professionally, not just because they work as staff at the casino they can gamble at will, of course they have to gamble outside of work, don't let the main job be interrupted by other things, because it can be fatal if done excessively, especially with gambling which can affect someone's mind if they play it. so this needs to be considered not to gamble during working hours.

It would really be just that understandable that when you are at workplace then you should really be just that minding about doing your work or on whats designated or given into you.
We do know that when it comes to possible issues that might be raised up then it might really be putting you up on such trouble when those issues had been known specially into your employer.
If you dont like on getting that affected or putting up the risks for losing  your job then it would be always best that we shouldnt really be that playing on our workplace.
Anything does have its own time and on the right place and playing gambling should really be just done into your own home or simply into those vacant time.
Dont get yourself put up on the risks just because of that impulsive wanting about doing gambling into that particular time.

I think gambling on workplace is not a good side it is one kind of unethical to the companies where the person is working. But if a person get free time at his work and in the mean time a sports match scheduled then I think it will be not a crime to take some minutes to place a sports betting. I remember that I have also gamble sometimes at work on sports.

That's true, I admit that, the work we do sometimes feels boring, doesn't it, and makes us want to do other things that might bring excitement, but if we escape from gambling, that's not a good thing, because I myself know that gambling can make we lose control, it can also make us not care about things around us, I mean it can make us only focus on gambling. These are some of the problem with gamblers. They see money from played betting as a lucky money. This made most gambler spent it anyhow. Only people that see gambling as another source of income that normally make use of the money well.

Never that advisable because you dont know that you had been sent out some complaint into your head or manager on the things that you've been doing on which you cant blame out your co-workers because when it comes to work efficiency then it would really be that greatly affected on which it would really be just that a normal impression.Also its never been worth on compromising your
work or job just because of gambling. You could always have the time on playing gambling when you are at home and it would be ideal that you should really be refraining on playing on your workplace
because once there would be complaints then it would really be that over for you but if you do get some warnings then its a sign call that you should be needing to stop immediately.

Employees on some occasions slack off while working and I think that can be expected sometimes. But gambling when you should be on the clock and working is never advisable. It decreases productivity by a long shot as someone who gamblers in the workplace would have more thoughts about gambling than of his actual work that he’s there to do.
Even while working, an individual who gambles in the workplace would never have his focus fully on the work at hand. More likely, his mind would always be wandering to how’s to recoup money lost on previous rounds/ how to play new rounds and win. Such individuals can never be productive at work.

I get that work can become so monotonous and boring at times but it doesn't warrant you to spend your hours that you're supposed to be spending working on something so trivial as gambling. First off, it's stupid. It's a terminable offence for one, are you saying you're going to put your job and financial security on the line for the sake of fulfilling your gambling desires. That's deranged and downright abominable if I do say so myself. I say don't make gambling such a big deal and only gamble when you really feel like it, not when you're bored or whatnot, and especially not when you're working.

Don't bring so much problem into your life than you can work with. If things go worse here you'd lose your job and at the same time you'd also become very addicted to gambling since you'd have no other thing to do but to gamble at this point in time. Make great use of your time and instead only gamble in certain occasions, not when you're on the job lmao.

I think that I have heard that condition because it does makes sense to send them home when they're done with their task for the day.

It's just going to consume them time and electricity if they will not send them home when they're done with what they should do. These type of bosses know how to give them importance.

While those bosses that sees it as a disrespect when someone gambles on their offices, it is right. These workers should just go home if they go to work to gamble.

I have been told by coworkers who have had more jobs than I have, they there is actually possible to find some jobs with bosses who would personally never care what one is doing during lunch time or even during working hours, as long as some schedule to finish the work/project is respected. I was told by one of them that their previous boss even allowed him to go home earlier if they wanted and take some days off, the only condition was to have all their work done by the day they all had previously set up.

While some bosses would certainly believe that gambling is a lack of respect to the office, the organization and even a lack of respect to coworkers, it is not impossible to find some position where one could engage in occasional gambling and get away with it.
Unless someone has that privilege, I would never advice someone to gamble at their workplace, because what you say is pretty true, one can lose the job in a blink if caught.

Those that are doing it and don't have respect for their company, will definitely be caught someday. It may not now or next year but it's going to be their conscience that will catch them.

Or just simply gamble not in your work and do it at home and somewhere else where it is allowed or you're in a private area.

What do you mean about gambling at work? In the first place does it mean that your gambling at your work place?

I mean gambling addiction was difficult to handle for sure and you can add the financial things as well, if your gambling a lot for sure it already affecting your mind so winning and losing that could have a big impact in our performance at work, depending on how we are going to handle itit is going to be difficult if we are addicted to gambling already since its affecting our over all life not just our workplace that gonna need a lot more to work.

Its easy actually since your work, family, and your gamble should not be seperate and you just dont let other things get in the way of the other, if something is already off like you thing that your gambling is already affecting your work you just need to adjust it, change your gambling habbit and have a limit on how you gamble so that it is not going to affect your work, its hard to say since it still depend on your situation.

Of course people do other things while at work, but gambling can be worse sometimes because the mind will probably be there as well even when they are working.

An addicted gambler will be stressed about all the money they have lost so far, and won't really be present while working.
