Well I think if you are asking about 2018 perhaps, it could be hard to achieve it. Maybe from 500$ to 1000$ before end of next year 2018. Though I believed that ethereum has a biog potentials to surpass bitcoin someday but not in this generation of course.
Slowly but surely, ETH is going up. Although I doubt that 2018 will be the time it reaches $4k a piece.

No, its so hard to reach that amount Im mostly prefer to see ethereum to reach the price $1000 to $2000 in the year 2018 if the price can go to $4000 I will be the one to became so much happy in this year ethereum perfome a good run it rise up more than 1000%

I think it's possible. Ethereum should still be in the top 3 at the end of 2018. So if cryptocurrencies keep expanding as they have, then $4000 is not so much. It's only about 5 times current price, and Ethereum has already gone up much more than 5 times in 2017.
I believe that it will reach up to $4000 but not this 2018, but the potential of ETH is huge, most of the ICO's now are based on ETH. Let us see after 2 to 3 years, What is the value of ETH.

IMO ethereum can reach $ 4k but not in 2018. its to early to think that eth will reach this number in 2018, let see how it will run but I think $1500 is best possible deal for it in 2018. clearly after they Change from POW to POS, and after that we will see the real price of this
yes. I am waiting for it. I have rated eth very high in 2017. However, the price of ETH seem slow compared to other altcoin. ETH still missing something to boom. the year 2017 is a boom year of ICOs and the token ERC20 running on eth are quite successful, but eth does not benefit because of that

I think Ether can touch 4000$ but not for short term , It might touch this level in long term either 2-3 years but for short term like 8-10 months of 1 year its can touch 1500$.And now Ether is the third biggest coin in the crypto market.So its will hard o cross 4000$ level in 2018. I will go for safe investment in Ether as Ethereum is a decentralized platform for applications that run exactly as programmed without any chance of fraud, censorship or third-party interference.And some people think its price value is lower than bitcoin but this is actually a good thing for Ether investors who are looking for investing other than Bitcoin.The lower price of Ether might attract investors as there is more chance to go up in coming days.

$4k on year 2018? Well thats too much to consider or really very unrealistic if we do try to look and see on the movement of prices of ETH on its past years. We may see now sudden price jump but it cant really jump that high on next year. Its possible but would not really be on next year for sure. I would rather guess or speculate it would soar up $1500 max which is somehow understandable.Please reply

On 2018? It's like you are saying that bitcoin can hit $100,000 on 2018. Anything unexpected can happen on ETH and other coins too, we can have some prediction that is too much to the belief of others but if I were you, ETH isn't a nuisance in the crypto world. Buying and holding it is always worth it whether you are expecting for it's price to go at $4,000 or not.
In my opinion ETH can go to the that price but could be in the end of 2018. From current price to reach that price so ETH need 8 times more. Many others crypto the price increasing more than 10 times in 1 year so will be possible for ETH to go that price in 2018.
We all do not expected XPR for $2.5 on a fall of 2017. So, Ethereum might worth even more then $5k. After they implement POS updates. Why not?
I do not have the mind for ethereum to reach $ 4000 but it's all still a mystery and many are hoping that eth can continue to rise in 2018.
no we can not expect so much. we can only expect between 2000$-2500$. but that also by the year end of 2018. ETH always has a good potential. but it takes lot of time to show results.
as an example i have got eth @ 100$ now it rose to 800$. In my view ETH is stable coin. if it goes down also it not go far. personally i like this eth so much. all the ico's like this one

I think It is very much possible. Cryptocurrency is unpredictable. Almost a year ago, Bitcoin was under 1k who thought it would get around 20k, so Ethereum can also get around 4000$.
$4K is a huge jump. Maybe $2K, but then again almost anything is possible in this crazy crypto world.
