I think that leader of the world is still USA, but this situation will change soon. I hope the world will be multipolar when there are many leaders. This system will make the world more stable and equal
It seems to me that a global leader is America. Trump is not the best and intelligent President but he is the whole political machine in America. This is a very powerful force and equal to it at the moment. The role of personality is of great importance but the main importance is the country. America's economy is the biggest sings and the impact of it the greatest in the world.
The United States may be the only super-power in the world right now, but Donald Trump is definitely not the most powerful leader. That honor goes to Vladimir Putin of Russia. Trump is a good leader, but he doesn't command much respect around the world. Even his own party and its leaders are now rebelling against him.
Trump has shed United State's role as the leader of the world. A Lot of countries look up to the United States previously to take the lead on world affairs like climate change and human rights. Trump's America first policy and his immigration stance seem unpopular to some persons. His withdrawal of the United States from the 2015 Paris agreement on climate change complicates the whole thing. Who will now fill the void between China, Russia, Germany or Canada?

I am sure that you are confused. Recep tayyip erdogan is one of the worst leader which turkish people have encountered so far. He does not any mercy upon his opponents and He wants every people to support him but reality is not like that.
Well, on a lighter note, let's just say that the little man from N. Korea calls the shots nowadays. But seriously, Putin is on top of his game at the moment. The world however doesn't need a leader because all they do is intimidate weaker countries.

we don't have one leader anymore, we now live in a multipolar world and the USA will never be as powerful again, it's not that I don't like States but I would prefer multipolarity
