I can confirm, however, that the registered email address on the account on our ning network is [email protected] which is the same one mentioned in the original paper.  So perhaps whoever created that account is indeed the “real” person, whoever that is.  I’d guess they likely are.

So, I guess the email address has been transferred.  Grin

In scientific papers, it is common to refer to yourself as "we". The only conclusion you may draw from this is that he's probably been a student at some time in his life Wink

Of course. We ourselves always write like this.

We are not amused.

I noticed he uses two spaces after each punctuation symbol.

Also capitalizes the first letter of each sentence.

That's a common factor between all the candidates.

Yes, I was mostly joking. Interestingly, one of the candidates switches from two spaces to one around July/August 2007. Smiley

I'm not sure if that's a suggestion that this person is Satoshi, or just one that it's relatively easy to switch back and forth between two spaces and one.

Here's more, the basis of his technology was presented at
google conferences at that time and his texts contain two misspelled words, one of which seems to be a common
mistake of a specific author.

Cool. Which two words? And what do you mean by "the basis of his technology"?

I'm not here to answer questions, just to add the right amount of pepper and salt.
