When I saw the prices of crypto currencies there is almost every coin's price fell upto 20%.Do you think this is just happening due to South Korea's ban over crypto currencies or there is other reasons for that.

I hope the condition will be back normal soon but I am worried a lot. Sad
Who cares what happens day to day? What is normal? Lol Grow some balls....

Don’t worry. Hold your crypto until March.
Do not sell it in a cheap price.
Hold and be patient then your crypto will surprise you.

Could it be because the news about China this morning?  It seems tough to gain any traction when government news can cause a downward spiral at anytime.  Seems like rumors of banning can pop up every week.

Take care as trading is a lot of psychology.

The more you sell the more the dump will be important.

But I may understand a lot of us want to reduce the loss.
However : be positive (Personnally I always have a look to NEO and its hourly trend...)

Probably because of the upcoming chinese new year. When we were close to 2k18 bitcoin stopped growing and everyone started selling. I think that is what is happening now as well. People are panic selling but i think that it is now the best time to buy yourself some bitcoin because in the near future bitcoin will start growing again and probably reach 50k one day.

It could be that South Korea's ban is one of the big factor why cryptocurrency is in a decline right now.. but, there are many recent ICO's that were sold out.  Is it because (BTC wise) devs are cashing out their  collected BTC funds to start their project and this needs cash of course.  Anyway, I have a feeling that this is just some correction before Bitcoin (being specific) fly again and break their ATH once again.

I am very worried now, my coin has dropped more than 20 percent, my assets are less than 20 percent, I don't know how to do it now, do I continue to hold or sell it?

This is only my view of it, but i dont worry. This is totally normal in the crypto world, and the whales is rubbing their hands right now. The price will go up again far more than the 20%. This is still only a correction, its not a crash. it will come back up. Personally i just bought some more coins today, as i see this as a great discount. But if you dont believe in the future of cryptos, then its different, because you will have bad feelings everytime the price drops. So its really up to you, but personally im not worried. Short term investing in this business can give a man heart attack if you dont hold your nerve. HODL Cheesy

Its not necessarily a bad thing. If the price went down especially when those cryptocurrencies that are promising, you should be happy because you can buy some more for less cost. Just hold what you currently have and dont panic. Ot will rise again.

It matters on the big investors behind, For us, its quiet, unpredictable because thousands of people globally are doing daily transactions on it. We can't do nothing, but to wait the result:)

I don't think there's a reason behind this "correction", that's why I think we shouldn't sell here. It might be a bull trap before another megatrain to $20K and above! Cheesy Seriously though, this is the biggest unrealized loss I experienced in 2018 so far and I totally never saw this coming. Too bad I already spend my spare USD and BTC few days ago for altcoin shopping ... right before the crash happen huh.
It's very risky to sell your altcoins or bitcoins because you will never know if you will be making the right decision about doing it. You are unsure if its price will continue to drop or will recover and start increasing times fold than which is more frustrating for us thinking that we could've earn more if we just hold for a little bit longer.

The cryptocurrencies market is currently being manipulated and controlled by large individuals and organizations around the globe, with a lot of negative news related to the cryptos trading that would seriously affect the exchange rate of all. the money. But forecast next week, the market will return to normal growth.

This question is really hard to answer because no one knows when the price will fall and rise it is all happening due to decrease in the demand for crypto currencies. This maybe happening due to many exchanges stoped accepting new users so it decreases the demand litte bit but the price is falling in a huge rate like it was fell upto $130B in total coinmarket cap of crypto currencies. So it is better to be patient now than selling our coins for loss it maybe a trap of big whales too.

There is a lot of hype around Korea and China which certainly affects the price falls. FUD and bad news lead to sales. After correction, everything should return to normal and the price will increase.

Hi all,

I am really new in the crypto world so I may be wrong, but I always think that, even behind digital currencies, there are some human beings.

If all of us worry, it will go worst and worst.
If we consider it is an opportunity to buy, prices will increase.

Personnally I will do some shopping, and I am sure I will not be the only one.

There are various reasons. Trend is going bearish currently which is normal after few months of bullish market. Usually tokens price will follow the major coins, when those starts to drop other alt coins will follow suit. Wait a while more and it will be a good time to enter.

This is a natural process of falling after strong growth. The reason is not even in the bad news. The reason is the overbought market of cryptocurrency.
