Myetherwallet.com is my favorite wallet for ethereum. With the arrival of tokens I started using this wallet very often. Especially for the various airdrops of tokens that were very large in Q4 2017.
I use MEW in conjunction with Trezor.
myetherwallet and ledger nano s is the best wallet in crypto imo. wish every coin had something like that.

Yes, using Metamask is more safely than entering your private keys to unlock MEW. But I consider the safest way is using the cold hardware wallets (Ledger Nano, Trezor). I promise them more than the plugins for browsers

I'm using myether wallet for store my ethereum and other erc20 tokens. It is very easy to use because it has very user friendly interface. The other reason i like myether wallet is easy to use it as a erc20 token supported wallet for the airdrop campaigns and bounty campaigns.

simple to use. fast to create, and maybe the security have no problem since i make one wallet on myetherwallet. for newbie maybe this is can be the first wallet because easy to use and trusted.
I am using it. I do not know any ETH and ERC-20 token wallet, only MEW. I think it is safe. You gotta be careful what site are you going since one letter mistake could lead you to phishing site.

Anything can be hacked, by definition, but the MEW structure is so solid that this possibility is very remote.
Instead, it's very possible that your computer will be hacked (may be already is and you don't know) and someone will stole your private key.

Just used myetherwallet for the first time to store some new tokens that are not supported on binance. Seems straight forward enough, nice website and good security features. Feel pretty confident to use it. I am yet to send anything from my wallet yet though.
