My etherwallet is the best so far. i read a lot of stories on how people supposedly lose their fund in their wallet. I know it is clear to everybody now that nobody can crack your wallet unless you mistakingly enter your details in the phishing site!
Well this is the first choice for an online ETH wallet. Very well built and well secured, I've never heard of any trouble with MEW.
Me and many others who join bounties, campaigns, etc uses MyEtherWallet for keeping tokens. It simply allow you create a wallet, which is yours to store and keep safe, and to broadcast your transactions on the blockchain through their node. It is free and opensource.
It's a great wallet. The new scam warnings can be a bit annoying, but I guess they were neccesary because to many people fell for fakes.
My first ETH wallet was myetherwallet. I think how to use it is simple and also supports ERC20 so for those who often keep altcoins fit using this wallet. 
I use myetherwallet because it is most efficient than other wallets. It is more secured and eay to access on it.
I think MEW has 80-90% of all users of tokens holders on ERC20
Im using myetherwallet.com,i got hacked once. In my opinion since i experience such hacking,this wallet is not safe 100%. Its easy to use yes and simple but hackable so always need to be careful especially when clicking of links.
I've been using MyEtherWallet for more than 4 months and I'm very pleased with its convenience and simplicity. I recommend that you keep the purse link in your bookmarks, so that you do not get to the phishing site.
Im using my ether wallet, its safe but not that safe, everything online is risky,you cant trust anything online.
to make it safer to use do not try to open an account on a public or office computer, I also use MEW

Good observation but not all crypto projects are built on the ethereum platform, some use waves others are built on nem. NEO and othersQuote

I agree with you, its interface is very easy to use maybe that's the reason why the wallet is also popular.
i think myetherwallet is good and the best wallets to keep ethereum and all ERC-20 tokens , easy to use , safe and secure there is 7 ways to secure your wallet .
its nice and simple, just be cautions with the security things like private key

I use it to hold my tokens in there, and never had an issue, I don't know about other wallet to support tokens to be exact.
