If this is possible, then I do not think that such a coin exists now!
No i do not think anything new has any legs uptill now to replace these two giants however, i do believe and support Eth for their upcoming updates, upgrades and scaling solutions, i hope eth will be massive after these updates.
Hard to tell..I don't see BTC being #1 for long long term. Hopefully the technology will be adopted, interests of big player will come into the scene and new (probably centralized) advanced coin will take over in the following let's say 5 years

No one would replace by the king but only the great Bitcoin which no one can defeat it's popularity and the great opportunity.
It is a very intresting question... It seems that current kings are becoming to centralized, u know... And hopefully in the future the community will win and find some better solution. It is hard to say defenitely, maybe we have a long road to achieve this goal. But it will be very intresting...

Since Bitcoin is going down and down everyday then I would think that Ethereum will replace Bitcoin as the number one coin and also there is EOS that is also capable of that for replacing ethereum.
BTC seems to be still the undisputable king of cryptocurrency. With 10s of daily addition of coins, BTC is still more dominant than what it was a year ago.

I think we should not forget that BTC should remain as the king of crypto. all of the fundamentals and beginning were all started with our dear BTC. We should remain acknowledge its presence as a big respect on what we have today and in near future.

i thonk that we have to wait for a while before we will be able to name a new king and to create a new proper coin 
The new king? It is still going to be bitcoin. I am not stating it as a fact and utter truth. But I believe in bitcoin and its capabilities. Added to that, surpassing bitcoin is not easy at all as it will take it several things for it to be able to surpass it. If people lose interest in bitcoin and start dealing with Eth for example, the latter surely will surpass Btc. Therefore, it is just based on people and of course big investors who can manipulate prices.

Do not worry yourself about the impossible, because both strenght and technology is the power of Etherum, but Bitcoin has strenght, technology, power, popularity, acceptance and medium of exchange of virtually everything on all continents.
Which is why no projects can usurp bitcoin as the King, others may try, but bitcoin remains number one (1) any day, any time

I personally believe that there will never be an altcoin who can become a new king because now the bitcoin is declining and so I'm sure bitcoin will never be replaced because of the first altcoin bitcoin in the world

I think bitcoin will still be there for quite a while, but the name of the assassin seems to be Ethereum for the moment. In the long term, most likely NEO will rule.
True for now indeed bitcoin seems to still be the king of cryptocurrency,and under the bitcoin there is the exact ethereum that is likely to beat the bitcoin,
we'll see if the development is true ethereum can beat bitcoin or not
