Sino-Soviet war in Taman peninsula? Such an incident never happened! In 1969, there was a border conflict between the USSR and China, but it was fought somewhere near the Amur River, which is around 10,000 km to the east of the Taman peninsula. Or are you talking about Turkey? Russia conquered the Taman peninsula during the Russo-Turkish War of 1787.

India is already cosying up to the United States, to counter any Russia-China alliance. Pakistan has long been an important ally of the Chinese. But the problem for the Chinese is that the Russians also have strong relations with India.

I doubt if there will be anyone left after the World War 3 to claim victory when we dont even know if the whole of mankind will be eradicated as a result of this. In this war, one does not need to be a soldier to become a casualty because right from your room you will be affected. Oh the only set that would survive are the one who built atomic bunkers so they all come out and see the wreckage of the war their greed and non-ability to compromise have led them to do.

Unfortunately, power corrupts most people's minds. I agree that strong countries like the us and china can simply make up situations to have reason to invade smaller, weaker countries. And if these strong countries come into blows with each other, with the weapons they possess, it's scary to think about what's going to happen to us. First few hours would most likely see hundreds of thousands of lives lost.

By seeing the current status quo of Asia, I think the third world war will be against China and India. China is strong and all but everyone wants to hit them for one or the other reason. May be because of Independence {Tibet} or because of border disputes {many countries} or casual rivalry {USA}. I just pray that never happens.

China doesn't have any technology of their own. All their military technology is stolen from other nations such as Russia and Germany. But the advantage with China is that they have the largest standing army in the world, and can afford heavy casualties.

I don't think anyone will win the WW3. Not much human life will be left on the earth if it ever happens. So it doesn't matter who wins the war and who loses it. Most probably the ones who are not taking part will win.

The fact is that today the roses in the world are completely different. We can observe how North Karelia is practically expressing a measure of nuclear weapons. We see how Syria gives permission to its troops to use chemical weapons. It seems to me that the whole world is under threat from such countries.
