Celebrities will advertise anything. After all, they get a fee for this and, moreover, not a bad amount. So why not earn a little, and even remind yourself through advertising. After all, they get paid for advertising immediately and with money, and not tokens like bounty hunters

yeah even they may not care about the content of the ads they are promoting, the most important thing is that they get paid for it, unless celebrities become investors in their coins, and become a symbol
for a particular project, maybe that will make the coin more trusted

celebrity have no background in crypto and they dont earn in crypto the money they have
so for me i will never listen or invest related to them
Some celebrities are aware of bitcoin and crypto but most who are paid to advertise aren't aware of it.

Don't listen to someone who isn't even know what he's tackling about. This is the best thing to do when you are in an unpredictable market, don't take each person's advice as financial advice because in this volatile market, you can only trust yourself when it comes to decision.

DJ Khaled and Mayweather had an issue about shilling an ICO. And other celebrities hyping or promoting scam coins. Who would actually rely on their words? If you're listening to celebs then you are not ready for this type of market at all.

Yes you are right, there is no point buying products or following investment ideas from celebrities. But, we can't ignore the fact that, they could introduce the product to a large audience. They could grab peoples attention. In ICO's case shilling makes projects popular and eventually investors would be interested in popular projects. That is why we have seen many people following celebs and famous investors.
The celebrities advertising scam projects will make a negative effect rather than having a positive one, no matter what they advertise you must have the intelligence to understand the project and what they are trying to achieve and then make your decision rather than investing just because a celebrity said so, they will advertise anything for money. Tongue
If celebrity will going to promote crypto which possibly become a scam project, I think that doesn't bring a good reputation to crypto and also for the fame of that celebrity. Promoting crypto shouldn't be handled by prominent person or a celebrity, maybe social media and youtube could be enough. Involvement with crypto to celebs isn't appropriate, because at first it was anonymous that's why more scam project was likely to use it for cyber crimes scamming people around the world.

No no no no no no no no and no. I would not listen to a celeb endorsing a coin unless it was Mr. Wonderful. Look at McAfee predicting and promoting BTC's price. He's on track to eat his own dick by 2020. https://diegorod.github.io/WillMcAfeeEatHisOwnDick/

This is very true, because everyone talks about the advice that Mcafee can give, but recently the last one he gave has not convinced me, although it would be something very big, but I am somewhat skeptical about it. However, it is necessary to make an analogy: it has been proven throughout history that many celebrities of the Stock Market have failed completely in their predictions, as happened to Isaac Newton, could calculate the movement of bodies, but could never calculate the movements of the masses with the emotions of Supply and Demand.

If you are very much into Cryptocurrency you will not look at those celebrities promoting cryptocurrency but rather you will look at the platform and their roadmap, you will not rely on other people to look on where and what you should invest in, it's a complete disaster if you do that.
Of course we will have to trust and value our own observation because even if celebrities are promoting something but it is not sure that if they use it personally or doing it only for money, but still many celebrities are using and investing in crypto currency which is good for both the coin and the celebrity, for me I think to some extent they can take part good part in development of crypto currency.

I totally agree with this. Promoting the ICO using the popularity of the celebrity is very effective for advertising especially if that celebrity is well known and also have good investments in cryptocurrency. As well as manny pacquiao when he fight he uses the logo of the ICO to promote and thats the thing why it is good.

usually celebrity just want to promote when they get the endorsement, and i think that bitcoin will never endorse anyone to promote bitcoin, so if there are many celebrity that endorse bitcoin or cryptocurrency i think they promote for other platform or they want to share to another people

We are here to endorsement bitcoin to be known by the public, and we spread all things related to bitcoin using social media, news and article, video, and else. But for the other project, I think some of them use celebs to help them promote the project, so people will know that the project was launch. I think the project needs to pay the celebs because the celebs will use their fans to promote widely.

Definitely the project will pay those celebrity that helped in promotion, but there is one question i ask; for celebrity to promote the coins, will it give it express to be successful?  Of recent there were coins that celebrities promoted during their ICO and those coins all end in dust and scam. Celebrities can do anything for monetary gains even though they are not investing into that coins, just doing it to earn.

What do you expect from Floyd, he worship money.

Celebs are always going to get paid for promoting something, they will even be paid for tweeting on their channel e.g. John Mcafee though he seem to be involve very much in cryptocurencies but he still is considered a celebrity and some of his followers worship this guy. Anything he says can impact what people will think of a project and you can see this from the previous projects he shills.

Celebrities will promote anything for money and they rarely use the product themselves.

We have people like Lebron James promoting Kia, do you really he thinks he drives a Kia around?

Especially Mayweather, this guy loves money and material possessions so he won't turn down anything.

Celebrities are the last people I'd listen to when it comes to finance. You can't even trust them with product endorsements - they'd endorse anything even if they are not using it as long as they get paid. Likely what also happens with ICOs for alts.

Agreed with you, Celebrities are too cautions of money and fame, they can promote any shading program in the name of financial reward. Have seen some celeb who sold out their trust just to get financial rewards, this attitude is very much found among celebrities, so, never take their words because they could be endangering potentials investors.

Their fans might believe since buying the same things your idols have would make you feel you share a certain connection with them. Endorsements like these though is not an effective way in the long run since first, promote ICOS--which we know that has quite a reputation when it comes to dumping. So people brought by that endorsement would think that this kind of trend in the ICO space is the norm for all crypto market.

I'm just wondering how many people believe in those celebs,
I mean we all know that they have plenty of followers ,
The problem is if a well known people would say something their follower would believe it.
