Funny thing is that these celebrities don't even know the first thing about crypto. As long as they get paid, the story ends there. I wouldn't listen to them if they promoted fiat currencies  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

We are always advice not to rely on the advice of others when it comes to cryptocurrencies investment cause it can be misleading, we have seen a lot of celeb promoting one cryptocurrency or the other but the fact is to make the right decision we must carry out our own research about a coin before we invest otherwise we may be mislead by hype and speculation.

DJ Khaled and Mayweather had an issue about shilling an ICO. And other celebrities hyping or promoting scam coins. Who would actually rely on their words? If you're listening to celebs then you are not ready for this type of market at all.
Celebs are the.most stupid individuals who can do anything for them to get rich and to get fame, so, don't trust them either. Some of them.promoting shade coins just to be rewarded make them to be desperate to achieve their selfish goal to other detriment.

I am sure so many fake coins and projects would be hiding behind these celebrates shilling their coins and defrauding unsuspecting investors. On a close look, I do not want to believe that these celebrities ate aware that the coins being shilled are shit coins .
So we should cut them some slack until it's proven that they ate aware.

Hmm you have a point in your opinion I encounter a project that introduce by "Fake celebrity" I tried to research the background and goals of the project then noticing that this project are fake no celebrity involve at first.
Well being popularity of cryptocurrency no doubt even celebrities are encourage to enter in cryptoworld even without knowning the risky they will encounter.

Well they are not the only celebrities promoting about ICOs and cryptocurrencies. I have seen some and I'm not sure if they are aware that what they are promoting is a real project or they are just concern of their pay  for their promotions. The truth is seeing a popular person promoting a certain cryptocurrency gives a big impact to that project. People are thinking that because they believe in that celeb they ought to believe also to what he is talking about. It somehow build trust in the part of the investors to the project the celeb is promoting.

Eventually, many people have the so called "Bandwagon Effect", they buy things that being used or promoted by their idols in showbiz. They like to know more things about the celebs. Moreover, ICO promotions have been the way of these celebs to attract people specially their fans to buy tokens. They can influence this industry through their fame and I believe that they conveying people for money and succesion of the project.

I think this might be a new strategy most people are adapting to since they've realized most of these celebrities do have a lot of followers, it is easily possible to influence them through that means. Although it might be true its about time we stand by our own choices and stop getting influenced easily by these people. Most of these celebs have little knowledge about the crypto world.

Celebrities are the last people I'd listen to when it comes to finance. You can't even trust them with product endorsements - they'd endorse anything even if they are not using it as long as they get paid. Likely what also happens with ICOs for alts.

It is our responsibility to research about the project and make the investment.
A very wise investor wouldn't buy the promotion of the celebrities. It may sound good and promising because they are promoting it but we are all aware that these celebs were paid just to shill and promote those tokens.

Celebs indirectly have crypto portfolios, and for money they'll do anything. Even they promote scam projects, but they won't invest on those projects. To be on the safer side it is our money and we need to take responsibility than going on someone else words.
They might even don't know what they are promoting. As long as they'll sign the contract from the advertiser and give the script, they are good to know. In the crypto world, everyone should be vigilant and don't be too gullible with your idols.

What you see is what you get , so yes i believe it .  celebs are promoting crypto because they are being paid to do that . the advertiser pays the network or the media to advertise his cryptos because he wants it to become more popular in public  .

the network or the media will also hire a celebrity and they will pay it to do the advertising job  . there is nothing illegal about that  . infact this was actually a good idea .  kudos to them  .

Join the world-leading crypto sportsbook NOW!
Maybe not trust in one celeberity when they decide to promote cryptocurrency but an entire organization instead.
Just as the soccer team who endorses their own alt coin.
The club is a professional soccer team in a league located in the united kingdom.
This is a better example in who you should trust in the cryptocurrency space.

Well, I'm not surprised that celebrities will endorsed crypto since they are being paid when they endorsed one and who doesn't want money right Cheesy. Even though they promote a coin, we need to do some in deep research before we throw our money or else we will be scammed by this stupid scammers.

Celebrities promote all sorts of products but i doubt it'll be the same with crypto. Imagine a celebrity promoting a share of a new business in the stockmarket. I don't think they'll have a major effect in that.

It's your choice if you are going to believe to the celebrity to that advertising cryptocurrency or promoting it. I think it's not a bad Idea to promote cryptocurrency with the help of celebrities because of that we can get a lot of investor that can help to increase the market again from the dumping value happen last year 2018. It's time to have a lot of advertisement and promoters like the celebrities.

If they're promoting scam projects then that wouldn't be much of a promoting rather than its making the reputation of crypto look bad on institutional investors and average citizens. A good way of promoting is sharing knowledge and awareness of crypto currencies and how to use it and once they known they wouldn't dare to convert their money to fiat ever again.

Many celebrities have no idea what they're advertising. It's all about fees.Due to the very bad fees at ICO, this method will attract a lot of investors.I think that this is currently the best marketing ploy.Any blogger will not be able to attract such a scale of people as any celebrity can easily.

Yes that is true , I believe there are actually many celebrities that are promoting crypto currency, even if they are not been payed to promote crypyocurrency , but the celebrity themselves are joining the cryptocurrency activities, also for there interest in acquiring bitcoin and other altcoin , just like also naking investments.
It's no secret that many celebrities have crypto, and promote crypto among themselves. Certainly not a strange thing, because celebrities have a lot of money.
Why don't they promote openly? Of course they don't want to, because open promotions in the media have to be paid. So they invest in silence, and make cryptocurrency in their wealth portfolio.
