I'm not sure that the figure is 99% accurate, because it's really too much. I believe that at the moment when choosing ICO it is better to choose companies that already have a finished product. For example, here is the international publisher of social casinos KamaGames. Already, the daily audience of KamaGames games is more than 500 thousand people, and the total audience of studio projects exceeds 100 million users. It seems to me that this alone gives reason to believe in the future of the project.

Hi, lads!

There are many ICOs ongoing at present but in 2018 a lot of them is a SCAM. Why does this happen?

I have revealed several issues in the article: https://telegra.ph/WHY-99-of-ICO-is-BULLSHIT-08-21

If there are any other points, It will be interesting to hear your opinions. This is really appreciated.

Thanks, friends!

I actually went and read through your article, Its full of assumptions and at times practical possibilities, but to prove 99% of ICOs are scam, you need to come up with numbers and figures, showing total number of ICO in a period of time and 99% of them being scam. I personally dont think that it is viable to say 99% being scam, yes a large number out there are scams, but 99% is too big to count upon.

Yes, buddy, you are right this is a marketing step, but from those around 40 ICO that I was tracking (not investing) 38 were scams and only 2 or 3 are good projects with working products. So here are the numbers, and the % is really high and if it is not 99% that it is 90 % taking into account these numbers!

The reason for all of this is the greed to have money which can be easily achieved through fake ICOs. In crypto it would be hard to trace the scammers and most of them can escape without any cases filed at the court.

Full support!

In my opinion, less than 99% is phishing, which is smaller than 80% or 70%. So we should not risk investing in ICOs while they have no potential and you do not know exactly about the project.

Yes, sure, I think that the main thing is that working project must be in place or at least a demo version, I have described this in the article: https://telegra.ph/WHY-99-of-ICO-is-BULLSHIT-08-21

it seems to me because there is no regulation for the market and therefore this happens in the market of start-ups. when the regulation comes and everything will be fine

but regulation can bring less volatility and this is now one of the most exciting points about cryptos that allow you to earn money!

Not the %99 but there are many scam ICO's.. Personally i worked about 30 scam or unsuccesful project and everyday this number getting high for me. I really make researches before i join to bounty campaigns or ICO's. The high pointed ICO rewievs never helps us, it can be scam too, so we have big problem about it.. :/

yes, sure, not 99%, it is like a marketing step, but the number of scams is increasing, have a look at the article where I have revealed some points on how to distinguish between good and bad! thank you for your feedback

in 2018 the new members of the forum on bitcointalk are very significant and plus a lot of new bounty managers who are still inexperienced in handling projects offer themselves as bounty managers and this is a great opportunity for unscrupulous actors to make scam projects and add price problems to the exchange market. that is not good

yes, buddy, agree that is not good at all, and for people, it is very difficult to find a proper solutions whey you can invest, that is why this topic was created, let us help others!

The crypto market is very young, for this there are no laws and restrictions - this was used by scammers. Until there will be regulation by the state to create new crypto coins - there will always be scammers!

This year is doomed to be a bad year for ICOs. 99% of ICOs have no real business to implement. These projects are concepts and ideas. This also leads to the disappearance of most projects due to lack of financial support in the downturn of the industry, and many people will lose a lot of money investing in these projects.

Because it's just a trend - it is much simpler than earn money with honest ways. And all these situations look shamefully.

I think 99% is a big enough number to judge that all ICOs are scams, but the truth is that not all scams and percentages are not 99%.
I have seen and analyzed ICO a while ago, I see that there are many who are scam but I also see there are still many who are trusted or maybe you mean 99% ico failed, and in fact 99% ico failed, after the market price list dropped to 10 times or more

i do agree that a lot of ICO's nowadays are indeed SCAM....
but not 99% though...
there are more than 1% of them that are truly legit.
and i can vouch for some of those coins as i have been able to earn from them.
but nevertheless everyone must heed to what the link you have given has stated.
they are one of those best ways to protect ourselves from being scammed by those selfish individuals...

You should not consider all of the ICS as a scam, because can't is initiated project to steal your money while most of the ICOs is not that way. Most of them just fail to get enough money to achieve what they want.

ICO is a model of capital mobilization not managed by the law. Besides, many newwbie enter the crypto market, they have no knowledge. The lead is very easy to be fooled by ICO scam projects.

Because the ICO is mostly designed to attract capital. When greed, things get worse. Some legitimate ICO projects and new teams of experience can be successful
