Users with lot of exeperience in bitcoin and crypto in general will suggest you to hold the funds. This is not the first time market is down, or the last and the experience is telling that the price will recover. If you are an serious investor you will not give up on the first sign of price fall or some issues on the market. With time you will fugure out that by yourself.
Because we will lose value if we sell it so hold and wait for the price to increase.So every traders needs patience if we are invested on crypto currencies.And other reason for hold is if we sell our coin it will male the price to fall more so everyone need to hold of the price needs to recover.
For me i will keep holding only for alt coins with bright future since current price is dropping cause i know in due time market will recover trading is a cycle there is always an up and down be prepared always and have plenty of patience. crypto trading is much riskier than any currency trading in every country. 
one reason i seen why everybody suggest hold, i'm also agree on that strategy hold and wait to raised the value in the market to earn huge amount of profits bitcoin or altcoins. i recommend do not listen to the other person how long to hold your bitcoin use it if you need to spend it for your family because family needs are important than anything.
I dont agree with you mate and yes needs are important but selling at lost price is something totally unacceptable. This the reason why I said hold and wait through dump in price season are old strategy form of trading while converting your investment into Tether is the modern form of securing investment.

People decide to keep it an excellent choice for everyone, decide to keep it for the benefit of the community. Everyone will hold the market more stable and help the market not go down again this is a good sign for everyone.

I have a really simple question or so seems to me cause i am a crypto noob.
I really do not understand why almost everybody suggest to hold when there is a dip or correction.
With my simple noob logic i think that when there is a dip someone could sell at the start of the dip or do something else (e.g. buy tether y i know the rumors or something similar anyway) and then buy again later when the correction has stop or decrease.
Obviously no one knows when there is a many days dip and when it will end in order to buy but even so one can save much money just for sell and buy in between even without predict the absolute start and end of a dip.
I hold as everyone suggests but i now realise that if i had sell even a couple days before even yesterday-and not right after the start of the dip and buy lets say now i would have save a bunch of money relatively with what i am doing now which is hold.
I really must be missing something since i am crypto noob orelse i cannot explain why everyone suggest hold while i fear that real pros are doing the oppossite.
I would like to ask only experienced people who know what they are talking about to give their opinions cause i am fed up reading pseudo crypto pros everywhere around. I bet many of you understand what i mean. Everybody has become a crypto pro . Well i am a crypto noob and i need your heads up.

of course many advise to hold bitcoin because bitcoin price is currently down and I think the best thing to do is hold and wait for bitcoin price will go back up again, unless you already get profit then it does not matter if you want to sell it
I think I still have to believe in my own judgment. If you think that you shouldn't continue to hold the currency when it falls, and you have your own reasons and judgments, then you should do what you want. After all, success is a minority. Sometimes you don't need to see other people's ideas.
Holding does have the corresponding risk or it is just like gambling, but if you wait for a good coin, this wait is a good way to increase the yield. You just have to wait for the market to recover.
As they believe in the future, BTC and altcoin prices will rise sharply. But in my opinion the BTC prices will not rise sharply in the future, as they compete with many other alcoins. Currently, some Blockchain technologies are more advanced than the BTC. They will probably dominate the market for BTC. So choose for you a penny of investment and potential hold.

Everyday suggest to hold because it's the best way to earn a big profit. Holding bitcoin is a giant savings that it you just patiently wait you will wait for the price of bitcoin who's gonna give you the best future in life. Many latest people in bitcoin are rich now. They are rich created by bitcoin.
It is because holding botha is a practical and a strategic way to earn from bitcoin. Nothing will happen if we always panic. It is the most effective way in trading.also since it is suggested,that means that the suggestion is based on experience that's why it is guaranteed. While bitcoin is a new and exciting technology when it comes to investing bitcoin is like any other currency or asset, and it has been proven over and over again the superiority of holding over long periods of time over trading actively your portfolio
Holding BTC means you have poor knowledge, you are afraid of market fluctuations. We can see that some people do not need to hold altcoin for a long time but they still make a lot of money. Because they catch the opportunity, they guess the market trend. I think knowledge contributes to your profit, and patience is the second most important factor. 
I would advice you on 2 things.
1. The only time you can hodl is when you're at a loss or when you're waiting for a major event before selling.
2. When there's a long term plan for such coin. Without this two, always take profits as to when they come. Don't hodl for ever cos a huge bear run might come and take the profits you've accrued for a long time away and thereby making you lose out entirely.

because the current situation of our market is down , even bitcoin . they had a big dump this month and we dont even know when it will rise again rather pump instantly. if you sell your coins right now, you might regret if its value increases this month
I say this but, those people also have this kind of experience where a specific coin of their holding keeps falling and the thought of them that it would someday recover in the future resulted of losing even more of their money. Therefore almost every human in birth nature has create a fundamental character of developments and rise in what he want to do in his work

For me, another reason for holding now is because it is the best and the smartest thing for us to do. As you can see, the market does not look good for selling at this time because of FUDs and other issues affecting the price of bitcoin. If one is going to sell now I am sure that it will be a big loss after bitcoin recovers. I think it is because bitcoin price was dump that's why people are suggesting to hold your bitcoin

Hold because of the possibility of rising prices is much higher than now, because everybody knows the price of the BTC from release to now has been increased by millions of times, if someone hold BTC to now from the start, will obtain huge profits.
So people think that as long as they hold it, they make a profit.
