I believe that bitcoin will stay as it is and the strong foundation it made will never be shaken. But their are so manu ICO right now that are planning to be ahead of bitcoin which has real people behind them. So, the possibilities that altcoins will be better than bitcoin is absolutely 100%.
Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrencies and setting aside that bitcoin is now being legalized in other countries, other countries also recognized the value and worth of bitcoin. Not hating on altcoins though, they are also some well-known cryptos out there beside bitcoin such as ethereum and there's this news about PaCoins ( I dont know if I spelled it right), Dimcoins and many more altcoins.
Bitcoin will always ahead or better against altcoin no matter what but one good thing about altcoin is they are way cheaper compared to btc. So if you want to hold a higher amount of coin, go to altcoin just be carefull on choosing where to invest.
Much depends on what specifically altcoin you choose. Bitcoin has started to lose its leading position in the market for a long time. I think that already in 2019 the Ethereum will take 1 place.
I'm not sure that's true. I would still invest their money on bitcoins. in my opinion, they are the most promising the most stable reliable in the cryptocurrency market. so I do not agree.
I think that now you should not throw off Bitcoin, because it is a popular coin and it again began to grow in value. This should be taken into account.
Altcoins are here just to make more Bitcoin 
Personally, I don't plan to hold any altcoins indefinitely. At some point I will turn them to Bitcoin and then re-invest it in some other Altcoins.
Bitcoin is here to stay, most altcoins probably are not. When/if that changes, I will think about changing my strategy.

I do not think that altcoins are better than bitcoins! Bitcoin is the king! But the importance of altcoins, too, should not be underestimated, many of them are already technological bitcoins and in some ways surpass it!
Bitcoin is the best coin that was her first and will always remain.Other coins are created just to fix the shortcomings of bitcoin
None among altcoins. Bitcoin is believed to be the best crypto for a long period of time. Although there are many good altcoins, still bitcoin is better. Etherium is believed to be next into it when it comes on the market demand. Etherium have also grown way far within the past 2 years as well as Bitcoin. So if there will be an altcoin that would might match with Bitcoin,I think that's etherium in the future.
Bitcoin is much better for me. Its not that I dont like alts but it is the reality. Alts are only relying on bitcoin. Remove bitcoin and everything might fall apart. Alts will only be better if they acquire much better technology.
Only some altcoins are better than BTC, just because they have the potential, the projects they are popular and they are used by many people for the purpose of life. So their prices have risen very high when exchanging on the floor.
This question can be answered in a snort! In general, bitcoin is much stronger than any of the other coins, but altcoyins are also important. By the way, some of promising coin can grow in percentage more than bitcoin, so it's worth paying attention to altcoins!
None of the coins can not be better than the other, in frequent cases. Each coin was created for a highly specialized task. And each of them is the best in its circle.
many people are trading in altcoin because they only have a little capital, if they do bitcoin trading with the capital then the results will be obtained will not be as much altcoin
Most of Alts are better than BTC i think but its normal BTC is most famous in crypto as many newcomers and even people dont know what are BTC and blockchain think there are same like they know there is only one coin BTC ,its somthing like with Video calls when some time ago and now too people say call me via Skype ,but they mean video call ,say Skype as it was first or one of firts and famous.
I think altcoins are more risky longterm but for trading or quickgains after sn ICO altcoins can appear more attractive. A good mix is probably the best decision risk protection.
I think some altcoins are better than bitcoin just because of higher speculative opportunities,but for a long-run I would prefer bitcoin.
I have to disagree, speculation is just that, speculation. Not fact or anything remotely close to being true. Bitcoin is still better than altcoins and with so many altcoins in the market offering investors scam coins which have no real value or usefulness in the real world there is no way that altcoins can be better than bitcoin even now or in the future.
I think some altcoins are better than bitcoin just because of higher speculative opportunities,but for a long-run I would prefer bitcoin.
I suppose that altcoins are better in case of their diversity and possibilities, that they have, ICOs, projects, dreams, tons of them.
