I can't understand why do people have no questions while there is an up trend and have a lot of complaints during correction? My question is why there should be a growth instead of the correction? Smiley

Bitcoin always affects the price of most of the market. When Bitcoin rises, slowly but surely other coins will be pumped and follow the trend. The rise of Bitcoin encourages speculators to invest in alternative coins following the upward trend, and just about every coin, including the sh*tcoins receive an artificially inflated pump. Whenever Bitcoin falls and stays down for a while, usually other coins are affected as well and will eventually take a dip too. Bitcoin is one of the few options that act as a sole medium of transaction for converting coin assets into fiat. Every other coin, besides a handful, must be traded against Bitcoin in order to cash out into the fiat.
Bitcoin is the sole de facto proprietor in most cases, so until the many other alternative tokens/coins start offering fiat options for exchange and conversion, expect the upward/downward trend amongst alt coins to continue. A smart investor will paddle out with his board during low tide, then ride the big wave back to shore when it rises. Just follow the market. Crypto coins going up and down all the time in the market. They are not going up all the time markets not working like this, you can also see this in stock markets very often.

Just wait a little bit and try to relax a little bit and do not sell your trades with a loss because the most will come back!

I think because the news about jerman and france will get coalitions to being strict about cryptocurrency in their country and will held meetings with G20 countrys to discuss about crypto. Maybe it's make an effect but i don't think it will make a big fuss.it just drop little in the sunday.

I have seen from bitcointalk forum that some people have responded to India's strict measures against cryptocurrencies, although they don't know what they are doing, but that may be the reason for the fall.

Because the total marketcap is declining thats why BTC goes bearish again and most of the alts probably will follow bearish movements too.

Nothing surprising happens. Market can't always go one way. Also, often altcoins prices goes along with Bitcoin, which is happening right now.

It is because markets WERE down, some impatient people were scared and now they are leaving the markets at least with corrected dump. I think they will regret this later dump as we re gonna enter new bull trend.

2-3 Days back we saw the huge dip in all cryptos, later market recovered a little bit but right now market is in red again!
Pumps and dumps are normal in crypto currency when there is decrease in demand for the crypto currency then there will be the price fall.I think the altcoins are falling because that price of bitcoin is falling,so still people are in panic that was created by rumors that bitcoin was banned in Asia and blah blah..
Still we have chance to buy some good potential coins which price may bump soon. But not altcoin price will increase in future so it is better to pick the potential coins which has real usage in future and please stay way from the XRP(useless coin in my opinion). Grin or you may lose more money in future.

That's because when markets go down it doesn't go in a straight line down, this is just how much it can go for now.

oh, so many strange thought here... everything is simple, when BTC is going up fast or down fast alts are red, when BTC going sideways - alts are green

Absolutely. Nothing to add. There are only 2 possibilities for alts to grow: first was mentioned above and the second is some really great new news about some single crypto (Limerium signed long term contract with Zingler). Any other situation lead to reds.

I agree with the mention that "red" color usually may be observed on Saturday and Sunday. During this period most of cryptomarket participants depart from business.

But if i was seeing from FA and it looks like this red caused by this news. https://cointelegraph.com/news/indian-banks-suspending-bitcoin-exchange-accounts How so many people are giving their opinion in the comment section. As far as i know about the fact that the indian bank suspend gives a lot of impact to the exchange that operates in the india.

Maybe the recent  announcement by Merkel and Macron that they would launch an initiative to regulate cryptos also has a role to play, or do you think that this is a rather eurocentric view?

Although I admit it honestly, when I wake up I prefer green color!) Red a little on your nerves, until you sell on green and you wait even more red to re-buy)

I think the waves on the market speak of its normal functioning, since the market can not constantly grow or fall-it is not natural, then it simply would not exist!)

this phenomena is known as Dead Cat Bounce. which when altcoins that never had any usage and no value, gained some fake value because of the pumps they received (which is a form of manipulating the market). and because of that they were in bubbles.

these bubbles started bursting and when they burst, price comes down in multiple steps like this.

it may also be the fact that bitcoin started rising up again and that can technically draw a lot of money out of altcoin market.

Or it could be because it is Sunday and generally on Sunday the market dips, very difficult to know exactly why anything happens in crypto land.
