I came across an article recently. Google is joining Facebook and Twitter to ban all crypto related ads. Why does everyone seem to want to frustrate cryptocurrency?

Because Google, Facebook, Twitter and other giant Internet company hate about decentralize technology.
It can kill their service which is selling a centralize data. That's why they will ban every people who use their service to promote Cryptocurrency.

This seems like an interesting perspective... Maybe you are right, the blockchain and cryptocurrencies are challenging a certain status quo that has probably been rather lucrative for many large companies, especially ones working precisely on data that is not encrypted and not anonymous..

Who knows? Google doesn't want to frustrate cryptocurrency. It's either they have plans that will give them advantage by having this decision. There's no reason why they did this but this also beneficial to the newbies who are just searching about "bitcoin / crypto" on google and after pressing the search button, those scams crypto ads appears. They will be now safe from those through the search engine but its still their choice if they will follow their own decision and thinking that they can be rich overnight through crypto.
I will not be surprised if in the future Google decides to create its own coin so it is possible that this current ban is in fact a strategic decision by Google to try to hinder possible competitors, this is a very dishonest tactic by Google but I am not surprised one bit by it, they do not care as long as they are the ones that make a lot of money

Do not really understand and comprehend why google or twitter or Facebook , just now to realise of banning crypto currencies ads for a long time.  Clearing up their systym from any crypto currency advertisement or to clear up those scammers, fake ico and hackers because too many now of those kind  using the system to cheat people. Hopefully they can solve this problem  for a better service to all users of crypto  by means of  using Facebook , Twitter and google.

Maybe they see competitors in crypto.
With banks it's obvious. They want to earn all money and give credits with unreal %.

Your right in this bro, maybe they have a very big investment in Banks or Stocks. If Bitcoin dominated the world of currency and all the people want to invest in bitcoin, probably their clients will move to crypto and it will be lose to them if this will happen.

I think these companies are doing something right now that will benefit them in the future. They really want to put bitcoin down from its price and they can buy as many as they can. This is the entire reason why they are banning crypto ads. If they are only aiming to ban those ads from scamming crypto's then they should be clear with it but they don't.

They want to bring the price down for them to invest in lower price. I believe they manipulate the ads to make investors panic and sell theirs stocks and when it does they buy it in a lower price making them start buying at low. Those people who wants to bring down crypto currency are greedy.

There is a deep reason behind. Google is operated indirectly by a group which holds of too many sectors in world. They do not wish Bitcoin or any other crypto coin to grow. They intend to grow thier own coins. As they are depending on the market capturing by selling things and etc. The pruchase of the things should be bought by the fiats. When people are moving to crypto, fiat is ignored and they loose the business and the revenue. This is the reason they stand benind supporting to close the crypto. But this will neer stop.

Whatever is good and precious alway attract attacks from the people and that is what you see happening to cryptocurrency now. Many did not understand it and some see it as a scam and other see it as a system that is going to take over their jobs.  Bitcoin will come our a successful system that every sectors of our economy will like to used it in solving all the problems in our society.
and yet it's just your words that are built on your desires and beliefs. But each belief must be supported by some facts, but so far, I do not see any Facts, regarding the fact that Bitcoin will have great prospects in the future.

actually bro twitter isn't involve on that issue which is only facebook and google i think. .and in my view the specific reason behind those banning scenario from those two popular site is due to  of some scam schemes nowadays  that always patronizing their platform which is always posting false articles and testimonials to obtain more clients in easy way..
OP could've stumbled upon an article saying that twitter will ban crypto ads. Coindesk had an article about it but there are other articles saying that there's no confirmation yet if twitter will ban them or not. If the report is true twitter would still allow to advertise crypto ads as said on the article that there would be exception. Not everyone wants to bring the value of the crypto down if you want to blame a group of people for this bad news it should be those people making scam coins.

They are banning such ads because these ads affect the repo of the platform itself. Their reputation is griefly harmed as they have been promoting the same thing or atleast same thing has been flowing around on their platform.

It's not necessarily affecting their own platform, because if that would be the case, they should have taken the necessary actions against these ads years ago already. It's obvious that they have been forced to do this, which could be coming either from share holders feeling regulatory pressure, or just the businesses advertising on these social media sites. I read an article about how businesses don't want to see their ads being shown alongside ads of services involving high risks, violence, medical ads, etc. It makes sense as well, because all the social media sites that stopped allowing these ads, significantly depend on ad income. In other words, they have no choice other than to start ditching all these ads. It's not an attack on crypto, and for that reason people shouldn't see it as such.

I think its not that everyone wants to frustrate cryptocurrency. But cryptos and fake ICOs these days have been the major concern for almost everyone. They are banning such ads because these ads affect the repo of the platform itself. Their reputation is griefly harmed as they have been promoting the same thing or atleast same thing has been flowing around on their platform.

These campaniles have nothing except crypto. Actually the problem is that a lot of scam projects are also being launched in crypto. Now if the developers of those projects use Google for promoting their projects and then fool people, it will hamper the image of Google. Such a reputed company cannot afford to loose its reputation as it will affect other advertising opportunities as well.

Bitcoin- in bullish time
It is their strategy, we should not be surprise to that scenario because they are doing that to make the other people sell their bitcoin so the price of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will go down hard and that is the time when they will be entering the market to grab a lot of cheap cryptocurrencies and they will become a bag holder for a long time and do the same tactic again.

It is usually the whales who are doing things to frustrate cryptocurrencies.
The logic is easy, they dump at higher price, spread FUD, and then buy at lower price and repeat.
Since they have tons of money and Bitcoin, it is possible to play the market especially a lower cap coins.
All the big investors who have invested a huge amount of money into the world of crypto currency do this trick as they know that spreading the negativity and the frustration amongst the people will result in lot of chaos and that the people will go for panic selling which will then help them in buying more coins at much cheaper rates and that they will be able to have greater profit later.

maybe they want to become the 2% rich in the whole world and see the new rich as their competitors, or maybe they want to buy in dip again and become the monopol in crypto as well by cutting the new comers.

The real agenda of all this news banning or hacking is to make the bitcoins price dump. They want it to dump more and also a preparing for regulations around so any news is directly effects on prices. They are buying every dumps and selling when it bounce up and repeat this is not new anymore. But it creates anxiety formost of the new investors.

I think that all of this is a sort of a conspiracy to bring down the concurrency market, because since the beginning  now one though that it would reach this point,k they all though it was just a bubble and soon it will destroy it self, but as time went on people started making some huge profits from this, and this only made it so popular that it literally took over the investments market, and that is not good for the rest of the parties involved in the market, they see concurrency as a threat to all of their assets and they don't want it to stop its progress.
