In my social life, I have experienced many issues which stem from jealousy. Most of the people have a tendency for being jealous of successful, hardworking people. What is the reason for this envy .. I want to know your opinion of this issue.
The main cause for feelings of jealousy are your doubts about your abilities or skills. If you were one hundred percent sure of yourself you would have never suffered from any jealousy feelings

I think jealousy rooted from envy. They are not happy when other people are successful and have attained their dreams. Some people will make stories on how that person becomes successful. This is like crab mentality. When one person reach the top, the other person will pull him down.
Jealousy is often caused by frustration, you want something but you see somebody else with the thing you want you want. It makes you feel bad because you're not able to have it.
people suffer from jealousy because in this mordern world everyone want to show to others they they are something and can do something and when other people get that done earlier then that people then they feel jealous of that person. no body want to live their own life they just want to show others how much they are compitable.

Because they are so negative by their sides and feelings.And they always think that they are losser thats why they feel to do what is right. Lack of self contentment. People tend to forget to thank of what they have and posses but keep asking on what they cannot achieve and attain.
I also often experience it, but it does not mean bad. We may envy successful people or hard-workers. In this case we think positively. If they are capable, why we are not. I just thought, I want to be just like them. While being jealous (negative thinking) to the success or the result of someone's hard work will only make us getting worse. We will never succeed if we continue to think negatively (jealous / envious).
When it comes to some items and job position they think that they deserve it and they want what others have,
But when it comes to relationship I think it is because they only want their partner's attention for their own and don't want others to have it ,
And also they are jealous of the past relationship that their partner had.

People are suffrering from jealousy because they are not satisfied from what they have. Most of us wants to become much better in life than the other people arounds us like our neighbors or officemates.

No one in the world will be ever satisfied with what they are having. They will always try to get better things in life. I would not say that this is a part of jealousy, but if someone is lacking something which his neighbor is having, then he may be feeling animosity towards that guy.
That's common in a crowded places such as tenements, row houses and the kind. People who doesn't have usually look at what their neighbors have then think that they could buy one too or have one, in the end it is more like a never ending competition between them and both would suffer from impulse buying and the budget is at stake.
Seeing someone else reaching where you are supposed to makes you jealous.

Why do people envy other people? Envy is not an emotion in its pure form, but a complex of thoughts and experiences that evoke negative emotions. Envy is associated with self-esteem and comparison or rivalry with other people. Without comparison, envy does not arise. Every time you envy a car your friend has, you compare something of your own with something that she has. And it does not necessarily have to be a car. Or car is just the beginning in order to switch to comparing personalities and achievements in life.

Being jealous is insecurity,and that is why instead of working hard it takes time looking for others mistake.I really agree for those people who are jealous cannot reach to success nor pulling yourself down.

jealousy is a disease that people are often suffering from. i have seen many people in my environment that was consumed by jealousy, they were depressed and lacked self-confidence that makes them insecure of other people. There are reasons for a person to be jealous, infidelity of a husband or wife, favoritism of the parents to a sibling and many more. On the other hand, this leads to immoral doings like killings specifically.

this is caused on the basis of fear of distributed justice. Because the point is, people just want to have something or someone completely and are reluctant to share with anyone or with anything. But this can be minimized by equitable justice in every respect.
People need to work hard to the top but some people not working but need to go to the top in that case not working people are jealous with working peoples.

Jealousy and envy are two different things. But yes jealosy stems from envy. Jealousy is a destructive feelings. Once a person is jealous he wants the rival to be destroyed of out of his way while envy is different. Sometimes envy is better.
