First and foremost the reason is that they dont know what is cryptocurrency thats why people did not understand how bitcoin works. People with limited knowledge on bitcoin have their doubts on investing their money in bitcoin.
The presence of bitcoin brings great blessings to many, but not a few are threatened by the business because of the presence of bitcoin, most of them are from financial institutions such as banks.
I think most of those who against bitcoin instead of hate or oppose bitcoin, but they do not understand about bitcoin, so they think negatively about bitcoin and the world of digital currency

Its because more of people now its not yet know bout bitcoin, so they wonder what is used of bitcoin. But if their a chance that we teach other what is bitcoin and what is used of it. Maybe they understand and appreciate about bitcoin. So its not hard to used bitcoin because everybody can like it, know it and they love also bitcoin. Maybe, they are less understanding of the nature and workings of this cryptocurrency.Some people may be unaware of its privileges,Bitcoin makes them uneasy, it is because of the risk of security.

There will constantly be people against bitcoin, just as there are people against fiat, gold and anything that has value, its simply a difference in opinion, i just respect there opinion and move on, easy done.
Because most of them thinks that Bitcoin can be hacked nor steal by just a single programmer. And thought it was a scam.
I think people are against on the things they havr no knowledge of. They feel threatened because it might ruin their peaceful lives. Bitcoins are trying to address the problems regarding real money like the transaction fees and middlemen. People are against bitcoins they can't handle bitcoins as a whole.

Many people are against bitcoin because they are influenced by those who oppose decentralization and are pro-regulation.
Traditional businessmen and women, bankers, old oligarchs who are ignorant of cryptofinance, and some government leaders are afraid of losing control of how money flows and so, they spread fud about bitcoin in the news. Some people listen and spread the same fud, not caring to deal with their ignorance and seize the amazing opportunity offered to them. It's the thought of them (the govt, others in power) losing power and losing their control on markets.
Maybe they are not against bitcoin, maybe they only hate it for missing the chance to buy before the value gets high or if ever they are against it is because bitcoin is just a digital currency.
It is some of people heard a fake new against bitcoin and some people believe bitcoin is a scam but in my mind bitcoin is the best way to success for the future for us.You need to learn bitcoin for your understanding then you said what are you saying to bitcoin?don't judge bitcoin 
Perhaps they are against bitcoin because they have a mix of envy to the others who earned, since they have been left out and lacking in knowledge about bitcoin.
This is because of the fear of something new, and bitcoin is gaining value everyday that some people think its not legit. They are afraid in this scheme and dont want to get involved especially when it comes to money.
It is because of the fake news that circulates in the internet saying that many has been scammed through it. So people not knowing bitcoin are inclined to stay away from it and immediately tags it sinister without giving time to see through the innovation and potential it brings to society.
I think that most of the people who are against bitcoin are the bankers and officials belonging to financial firms and government sectors.They are already upset with gigantic growth of bitcoin and they have started to face loss in their revenues.They express their views against bitcoin by tweeting and by spreading FUD against bitcoin.Some people are illiterateand they actually don't understand the technology behind bitcoin.So,they just blindly oppose bitcoin
And since they control the media as well, we can expect a new attack against bitcoin especially if there is a big correction or a crash, it is obvious bankers cannot stay silent, they are seeing a revolution happening right in front of their eyes, they are seeing how they are losing control of the financial world in slow motion. 
Many people are against bitcoin because they don't know about bitkoin.... Also my first impression of bitkoin - it is untrue...then a lot of my friends talked about it, and then I studied bitkoin, and only then I was able to evaluate it properly
They don’t know about cryptocurrency and people don’t trust the internet so they think that bitcoin is a scam and a waste of money.
