I guess the reason is that bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are less explored and therefore almost unpredictable whereas usual currencies such as USD or EUR are commonly and widely used, everyone understands how it works and where to find it.
Those people are not open minded for the new generation of currency. And they didn't know what investment is.
most of those against BTC are either ignorant or want to buy low,they missed the train and try create FU D so as to bring price. down and aquire more.BitCoin and block chain technology is the new bubble that's gonna stay for a long while.
In my connection environment I don’t know anyone who is against Bitcoin. Some people just think that this is some kind of illusion but they don’t really know anything about specific of blockchain technology.
Many people have very bad experience with different financial pyramids, which offers 100+% in a month. When they see a currency that progresses so fast, they immediatelly transfer. That's quite understandable.
people are not so much against bitcoin per se, they are against the current situation in bitcoin ecosystem. Read the posts and threads, half of them is about complaining and helplessness that people feel when they are trying to do the transaction and it is stuck somewhere in limbo. They are not against bitcoin. They are against what it has become and why the devs don't solve it.
I'm trying to understand why are so many people against bitcoin? is it the innovation that scares them? the feeling of staying behind? the fact that that money will go to the wrong hands?
If you are talking about bank institution then thay are against bitcoin for obvoius reasons: they don't understand it, although it is changing, and they feel it is stealing their marketshare. The governments are not so much against bitcoin as against bitcoin being not taxed
First of all bitcoin has many negativities, people feel like using bitcoin is not safe, too much freedom means people can do many things, things like scams, phishing, and more, hackers can easily break through, this is why we need to be extra vigilant, aside from people who has not experienced getting scammed yet be extra careful especially if you are holding holding a large amount of bitcoin.
Internet, too, no one perceived as a means of information exchange and was afraid to use it, but after 30 years we can not imagine life without it, the same is waiting for crypto currency!
People are againts btc because they think negatively.because nowadays it is not easy to find money and in the end of the day they invested it in btc and in return they are scammed.that is their set of mind.
Most people that are against bitcoin simply do not understand it or have no idea how to jump into it. Others also are huge investors but do not want it to be known so they just act like they are against it. But i think it would be easier if people did more research to realize how great bitcoin is
bacause they are not interested in bitcoin thats why they are against on it. they aways thinking that btc is a scam and they dont even try it because they afraid of losing thier money.
I think it's natural on the in thing there must be two sides that can not be separated from each other, the pros and cons, so also in bitcoin there must be parties who do not like bitcoin for some reason they do not like but for sure as long as the person does not harm the owners of bitcoin is legitimate just happen.
Why are so many people against bitcoin? Mos of people all over the world... are against bitcoin...most of them are really don't know what is the used of bitcoins....or what is bitcoiin....not all of them are know what is truly the used of bitcoins....
bitcoin is the currency system which minimize the taxes and duties on the other currencies like paper money and the countries have imposed many taxes on the transfer of funds and other transaction. there are so many people are against of it and they don't want to use it. the other reason is the altcoin users may not in the favor of bitcoin any more. so they will not allow people to use bitcoin instead of altcoin in the future.
Maybe because bitcoin is not quite known in their country and there is a user but not many.And Not Recognized By Governments.The general public doesn’t understand bitcoin, and many regulators still don’t either, which makes it tough to regulate.I think another reason is they not yet try to use bitcoin to invest so that they didn't know the advantages of using it.
Hello! Yes some new things scary people and some of them think that this is bubble and have no any trust! Another thing they have credit card or cash why they need learn something? I lot of my friends says: I don't care! I have money (traditional money) and I don't care about your cryptocurrency! Traditions, mentality and etc
Many people are against bitcoin because they don't fully understand how it works and its potential. Some especially the government kick against it because they have seen how difficult it is to control it and anything government can't control that kick against it. Some people need to be educated for them to fully understand bitcoin before they accept it. I believe with time people will get to accept bitcoin and stop being against bitcoin.
Lot fud and other bad news for btc, recently I read that France wants a discussion of bitcoin at the next G20 meeting with a view to regulating the cryptocurrency, a finance ministry source said Monday, saying the government believes there is a risk of bitcoin being used for “illicit financing”.

Lack of knowledge and with computer there are so many risks such as hackers scammers.

Layman's insecurity that is the reason why they hate it. They cannot hold it in their hands. It is intangible. They like holding paper, coins and plastic cards. All the old world stuff makes them feel comfortable. Bitcoin makes them uneasy and jittery. For they are not making any efforts to study it.
I agree completely, I know some people that know nothing about bitcoin or cryptocurrencies in general but will not hesitate to talk down about bitcoin given the chance without even a shred of knowledge.

Maybe they got feared because lack of knowledge about in bitcoin. But if they will find ouot and realize the deepest importance of it for sure they won't get scared in it insteadthey will support it as well. Exactly. People fear what they don't understand. They probably are thinking that it's a scam or something. These people should be educated if they want to so to clear their skepticism
