The only people who are opposing bitcoin are the rich and greedy bankers, who have an interest on protecting their beloved fiat scams. Other than that i dont see any regular people who are against the currency...well maybe bcash suporters who are already getting ridiculous.
I quite agree with you on that point, they see bitcoins as a very big threat, imagine what bankers would do if everyone decided to withdraw their savings and head over to invest in bitcoins and other cryptocurrency, Its is going to bankrupt the whole banking system and that's why a lot of bankers are terrified about bitcoins since its the pioneer in cryptos.

A lot of people are against bitcoins probably because they haven't taken the time to actually research about the cryptocurrencies. Also the growth of bitcoins seems to good to be true, that’s why they may think it is impossible or that it is just a scam.
I'm trying to understand why are so many people against bitcoin? is it the innovation that scares them? the feeling of staying behind? the fact that that money will go to the wrong hands?
Because they did'nt know what is cryptocurrency so thats they did not understand it well.They are afraid to invest their money that it will be lost due to its inflation of price in bitcoin.that's true, this are the people who have limited knowledge about bitcoin. but if their going to open their mind and see what bitcoin can give to their life maybe it will change their mind. Just like me before i don't give any serious attention about bitcoin when my friend introduce me about it. but later on when l learn a lot bitcoin it change my mind. it's also a matter on how people discuss it to a person that they want to get involve in bitcoin.

most of those against BTC are either ignorant or want to buy low,they missed the train and try create FU D so as to bring price. down and aquire more.BitCoin and block chain technology is the new bubble that's gonna stay for a long while.

Yes, there are many people who go against bitcoin but there are more people who also support bitcoin. Those people who goes against bitcoin is losing the opportunity to be knowledgeable about the evolving financial system and is also losing the chance to earn a great money.
People resist bitcoin mainly because they do not understand how it works and what it is. If they had paid some time to find out about bitcoin, more of their opinion would have changed.
It's because the media is able to influence opinions and make theirs, them. That applies for everything, they make use of the fact that most people have no basic knowledge about everything so it's easy to influence their opinion about something that they never had. Most people that researched blockchain technology or Bitcoin will be positive, it's just the people that had no opinion that think negative about it.
Because they are ignorant about what bitcoin is and how bitcoin can help on their lives. They just don't know the true value of bitcoin and they are maybe reading negative articles about bitcoin.
In fact, it is not against bitcoin, but to invest, but always hope that the price is low, most people think so.

You're against it because the price is high and you can't afford 1 bitcoin. I don't think anyone can take the risk and buy 1 bitcoin in 10k$. They are afraid to being scammed in investment. So they're staying away from bitcoins. Maybe we should tell them about the main reason of using bitcoins and it is not just investment in ponzi scheme.
Maybe because they don't understand how crypto currencies work. They still don't know if it is legitimate or not. Also,they can't invest in bitcoin specially now because bitcoin's value is increasing and since the value is increasing, it is difficult for them to take risk a large amount of money.

I guess there are several reasons why a lot of people are against Bitcoin. But make no mistake, the portion of those people who are against Bitcoin is relatively smaller as compared to the people who are backing Bitcoin up. But the larger portion is of course those who are still neutral when it comes to the issue because they are still not informed about it. I think the reasons why people are against Bitcoin include the probability that it will be used in illegal activities and the impression that it is used underground.
People 'opposing' bitcoin are basically people who want the price to drop so they can buy more
