Those who do not know very well about Bitcoin and have been making various negative comments about Bitcoin from the beginning, only make negative comments about Bitcoin on various social media.I avoid all these people all the time. Especially where the big businessmen of the world invest bitcoin, there is no need to listen to the small limestone.

As investors we have to be able to choose what we deserve to hear, everyone can talk about bitcoin without a good knowledge base, they are mostly afraid that their business is threatened because of bitcoin, the best thing is to focus on the goal and ignore what they say.

People are hostile to things that they do not have the courage to invest in or do not have the funds. Most hostile is because they are jealous either they are jealous that you have the courage to invest in it or they are jealous that you have the money to invest in it. I have not yet met any one that has legit reasons to be hostile to Bitcoin. How can you be hostile to something that is trying to set the common person from its handcuffs? You cannot instead you have people who have other motives like wanting fiat to succeed because their institution relies on fiat to succeed like banks or you have people that are jealous.

I strongly agree.

Most people who are acting very hostile on bitcoin are mostly the people who don't even own one to begin with. I also have this guess that maybe they are like that towards bitcoin is because they don't have the means to buy it or invest in it. Hence, they just attack it and hate it so much to the point they spread fake news and FUDs to shaken those who invested in it. Enviousness is also one of the reasons. They don't want other people to invest in it. They want it all for themselves. They don't want to educate other people of its benefits that's why they do all the possible things to let Bitcoin's name be tainted on other people's eyes. These kind of people are greedy.

Other possible reasons could be they have been scammed, they aren't just knowledgeable enough, and they easily believe rumors and gossips they heard or read from different platforms.

I think, The people who are hostile to bitcoin are simple:
First: just because they have no way of controlling and influencing how bitcoin works.
Second: the influence of bitcoin is so great, it has many advantages that countless people including the government fear about the power of bitcoin.
Life has no unity and totality. Just some possible inconsistencies, it's not the first time.
Let's take a look at some conflicting opinions:
Quote
BILL GATES - MICROSOFT CO-Founder (25/2/2021)
"I think the people who jump into the crypto craze are people who don't have a lot of money. So I'm not optimistic about Bitcoin. Overall my view is: If you have less money than Elon Musk, should be careful".

Quote
ELON MUSK - Co-Founder, CEO TESLA, SPACEX 20/2/2021

“Money is just data that allows us to avoid the inconvenience of exchanging goods. That data, like any other data, has lags and errors. The blockchain system will help reduce both of these things to reduce both,"

Quote
ZHAO CHANGPENG - CEO BINANCE HOLDINGS LTD.

“We care about the fundamentals as a highly-freedom currency that allows people to transact globally cheaply and securely. If a virtual currency does that, I think it will benefit the whole society and be especially positive for the cryptocurrency sector."
In short, I think there are people who hate bitcoin as well as supporters or at least they are neutral to bitcoin. That is also normal and it almost never affects the development of bitcoin too seriously.

Honestly, it's pretty silly to hate Bitcoin. It's just currency. And even if something did not work out for you, you should blame yourself.
Not for the people who was hostile to bitcoin, they either see it as a threat, a scam or a trauma. A threat because they might be working on a field that is threatened by the advent of bitcoin, scam because they are archaic and their mindset is that it has to be an established infrastructure to be considered an investment, and trauma because they got scammed using bitcoin that they find it hard to deal with them.

I think this is just a business problem, if bitcoin is getting more popular and more used by humans, their business will gradually be abandoned by consumers, which means their business will stop. The birth of Bitcoin indeed threatens the existence of their business, more and more people are aware that banking is no longer the only option for financial transactions, whether saving, investing, buying, and selling, even as a medium of exchange and payment. We all know that Bitcoin with blockchain technology provides many advantages, both in terms of security, privacy, and business.

Some of those who are aware of the advantages of bitcoin choose to compromise and include Bitcoin as one of the superior products, some still don't want to compromise but adopt blockchain as one of the technology systems they apply.

So many lies have been sold out about bitcoin and many have been confused about the truth. Bitcoin offers total financial freedom, and that the individuals who are involved in the traditional centralized financial institutions see bitcoin as an enemy of their success and existence. That is why there will always promote hate speech and actions against the freedom of bitcoin.

The negative bitcoin campaign has been massive since 2013, I've been interested in using bitcoin since 2013 because of negative news on online sites writing that bitcoin is a place for financial crimes such as arms transactions, drugs, tax avoidance, money laundering and so on, this makes me curious and until now still actively using bitcoin.
We can't put aside that Bitcoin has been used for some illegal activities and this was the basis why some people are contrary to Bitcoin's existence. I understand their claims but this is not the reason why Bitcoin is to be adopted as one of the legal currencies in the market. If we are only to believe all the negative thoughts that we've heard, it surely our mind will turn negative as well.

I'd once doubted Bitcoin, yeah, I wait for some proof and to see that majority are totally wrong saying that Bitcoin is just a scam and used for illegal activities. It was the time to open our minds as this was a new opportunity to make a better living, a new lifestyle.

What are their motives could it be that they are just anti Bitcoin or attacking Bitcoin because it is a competitor that will soon push them out of business.

The answer to your question can be found in the book None Dare Call It Conspiracy, written 5 decades ago by Gary Allen.

I think the most appropriate reason is their delay in getting involved in bitcoin because it is already very expensive, and also sorry for not believing in bitcoin back then, when bitcoin was still cheap.
and besides that they feel jealous because many people feel the good benefits of bitcoin and change their lives for the better and even make them rich.

knowledge that makes them rate bitcoin negatively and some of their daei get involved without enough knowledge and they try it and end up experiencing huge losses, and such thing is real and on the other hand bitcoin is not legal.

In the words of a video-game character Ezio from Assassin's Creed, "They condemn what they do not understand." When people see something queer or novel to their senses, the most logical and initial response they would give out is one out of fear or repulsion, this is definitely normal  since it appeals to our basic instincts. Then again it is always proven that early adopters and believers who broke past what their instinct tells them flourishes and succeeds.

Thing is, avoiding them won't do anything for bitcoin or crypto, for us established believers their FUD won't have any effect but for potential investors, they'd have a massive impact, so an information rally or campaign is necessary to provide proper info about the upsides and downsides of investing in bitcoin, that way they can base their choices and opinions in something much more intelligent rather than making choices out of spite.

It was Bitcoin financial freedom that made it to be hated most and its hostility by some individuals or government agencies who own banks and other financial institutions, Bitcoin offers most of the features offered by the banks especially it adoption by many Bitcoin enthusiast as a store of value, due to its decentralized feature, why will I save my Fiat in a bank? whereas I can hodl or save it securely in a wallet, all these attributes of Bitcoin does not go well with some government and financial agencies, I believe that is why it was always painted in a bad light, however despite all the criticism and hostility to Bitcoin it has remain strong and becoming more popular with growing adoption.

If they continue to hate Bitcoin, they seem to have serious reasons. Yes, one of the reasons can be a competitor, so they don't want Bitcoin to exist and bother their business. If many people move to crypto investments, their business probably decreases in popularity. To prevent it, they spread FUDs about Bitcoin to make people around the world be afraid to join Bitcoin investment.

The Standard Protocol - Solving Inflation
For some time now I have constantly come across prominent individuals in society sponsoring hate speech against Bitcoin, most surprisedly These individuals either own traditional financial platforms such as banks and they are expected to be knowledgeable in investment and financial transactions and processes that seek to eliminate all the security challenges faced in the banking system through blockchain technology which give end-to-end encryption that guarantees a high level of security.

What are their motives could it be that they are just anti Bitcoin or attacking Bitcoin because it is a competitor that will soon push them out of business.

I'm pretty sure bank owners will one of the major set of persons who will be against bitcoin and its use in the mainstream world. If you ask me, one thing I'd say is it is impossible to support the one thing was created to make you fall.
With bitcoin, it is certain that popularity of banks will gradually diminish until we get to that point when banks are highly irrelevant.
If the above scenario is going to happen, it will happen with increasing adoption of crypto in the mainstream world which is exactly why banks owners and others thar stand to lose will speak, at every opportunity, against bitcoin.

The Standard Protocol - Solving Inflation
- they don't understand it
- they have read so many confusing side of btc online that aren't true
- they are once a victim of scam,
- they have relatives/friends who have been a victim
- they are naturally hostile in nature  Wink
one of the above must have occurred for anyone to be hostile towards btc, that's why it is always good to do one's own research and not rely on what you read or hear, if i had followed what i read, i won't be in crypto today, it is always good to learn.
These are commonly the very reason why people project hostility towards bitcoin. And I must say that there will always be people that will be unhappy about something even if the world is happy about it, more so if they have bad experience with it. We really just have to face the fact that many are still not in favor of crypto even at this modern era, and many will say bad things about it just to discourage everyone else from patronizing it.
I think I would add to the list that they feel like they ultimately have missed the boat and are now really hoping that Bitcoin is going to fail because it is a pain in the ass to see someone else making a ton of money with it. I still know about friends who are into finance and could really have a relatively easy time to understand it, but still they refuse to do so. When I ask them whether they read a single good book about it, nope. Who cares though right? Let them do their thing.

Some people do have an envious nature, for those who feel too late to know Bitcoin, and seeing other people succeed making a lot of money.
In the end these people did choose to be negative about Bitcoin, actually it is their right to do that. But it's just like it's not wise if someone
behaves like that, even if their minds are open and willing to learn Bitcoin properly. It's never too late to invest in Bitcoin, even starting from now
can still make a lot of money. As long as we have positive intentions, all things will go well. But those who reject Bitcoin, closed his mind.
So it's hard for these people to see Bitcoin from the positive side, in the end, we all have to go our separate ways.

Correct it is their envious nature, but they prefer to call themselves cautious and not naive in such a situation, implying that I was the opposite of what they are. But you know, one shouldn't really care. If they deny themselves the chance to at least participate with a tiny little bit, not even a large investment but just a bit of their wealth, why even bother to convince or help them?

I have talked about cryptocurrency so early on and you meet all kind of different reactions. Some can't really believe what they hear, some can't understand it, some don't want to understand it and some just hate what they hear. That is ok for me and I will keep diving into this space for as long as I can on a frequent basis.

The reason some people hate bitcoin is because there are many people who don't know anything about what bitcoin is and they hate it for being illegal in their country there are many countries in the world where the government legally penalizes anyone who uses bitcoin if it is not legalized. Also those who invest less patience and can't control themselves when the price suddenly sinks they break down in tears then leave everything and hate bitcoin.

The right terminology to be used here should be "jealous" instead of "hostile". I have talked to a lot of guys who hate Bitcoin to the core. The more I talk to them, the more I realized that their hatred towards cryptocurrency is due to the fact that they were unable to profit out of it. They will give you all sort of excuses, like Bitcoin is not legal in India and it is largely used for "illegal" dealings. But the fact is that they were not very successful in hiding their disappointment, in not benefitting from Bitcoin.

People are hostile to bitcoin because accessing it is through technology, volatility, and because these people are used to banks.
Sometimes it is difficult to move from the known to the unknown. Also the anti-bitcoin speech can influence to want to interest them bitcoin.

However, I remain hopeful that this year we will take a longer step so that bitcoin reaches more nations in the world, if the institutions do not embrace bitcoin, people will take the initiative as it has been happening from the first moment.
The habit of using the traditional bank system still becomes one of the main obstacles that e find. Moreover, we know that there are many bad issues about Bitcoin, supported by some bad speech about Bitcoin from the anti-bitcoin people or parties.
Sometimes, if we don't know about Bitcoin, we will only see it from one side point of view.
You are right that they may be also afraid of Bitcoin itself because BTC is very volatile, in no form, and also just a technology.
