I also came to the crypto market just because I wanted to pay my tuition fees. 2017 was a very uplifting year for me as I risked and invested in some good projects and made a lot of money. From there I learned more about cryptocurrency, Blockchain and Defi. I realize that this is a great place to make a lot of money if we are skillful.
Yes, the majority of people involved with crypto only because of its monetary value but I think that's fine. It's hard to push people to learn something new without any incentives and monetary is the most effective way to do it. I think slowly, people interested in crypto because of its monetary value will change to actually see there are more benefits and reasons behind crypto. How it will change our lifestyle, push businesses, human behaviors toward the future. Same for my case as I interested in crypto because its monetary value and changed how I see and want it to become mainstream payment systems.
At the urging of one of my younger brothers, I tried to do various things online to earn money, but without success. At one point my younger brother finds a market in the crypto market, he works as a bounty hunter in the Bounty project and starts making good money by trading on various crypto exchanges. I'm not good at technology, I didn't know much about crypto market. But thanks to the tireless efforts of my younger brother, I came into the crypto world and made a lot of money working successfully. Even then I think there is a lot more to learn here. It is also a good technology friendly way to make money independently and transfer money / transactions securely, at low cost and in a matter of moments.
Primarily, it is because of the monetary benefits that I am provided with that is why I am really involved with crypto. Also, there are many valuable lessons that I have learned in the crypto world that I could bring and use in daily living regardless of industry that I am in.
One main reason why I got involved with this crypto world is because some of my friends told me that there is a better opportunity with it and they told me that crypto change their whole life for a better that is why I am also hoping that it will change my entire life for the better.
Because when I learned how financial and bank system works I was terrified. Next worldwide financial crysis is coming and we need to be protected against it. That is why I am here. 
Is bitcoin a solution of the global economic crisis?, I do not even understand why Fiat continues inflation while the cryptocurrency continues to rise on the trend, as long as there is internet seems the cryptocurrency will continue to be developed. crypto for me is very promising although it has a high risk when investing In this situation I don't like crypto investing, I prefer to find free coins
by following the bounty or airdrop
for free coins on bounties and airdrops you get a little, especially for monthly you don't necessarily get it, it's better if in my opinion trading is one of the best ways by following the bounty or airdrop
I had be lying if I say I am in it only for the tech . Yeah the tech makes me curious but I am also in here to make some money if I can that can help me with the expenses of my day to day activities hopefully.
Money matters is what most of us are here, the tech thing is part of the influence that make us more interested but for sure
each of us or most of us are trying to take the chance of profiting to this market.
There's no lies behind that, opportunities to earn is what most people's reason why they are inside crypto space.

If that could lead you to crypto, then there would be a lot of people joining crypto, because things like that are very simple things to do for strangers in a telegram group, is there nothing else that makes you more interested to crypto? 
Initially I was in crypto only knew bitcoin and only got a little profit when doing daily trading but some of my friends introduced me to this forum so I know about altcoin and it turns out that altcoin is much better at getting profit. But remember that I have also experienced huge losses when investing in altcoins.
Without loss it isn't possible to learn about trading and investing on altcoins. Myself initially got introduced to the forum, and further only I learned about trading and other possible ways of earning. Now this has been part of my routine, and first I understood it as a earning through internet. Later only realised the truth of the technology advancement making a big change.

The honest truth is that, I joined cryptocurrency industry because of the financial reward which I was made to believe was promised by the space. I got into the industry and my first encounter was disastrous. I lost so much funds because of the scheme I joined was fraudulent and I had so much regrets. I'm glad for all the good, bad and ugly experiences I had in the past and hope to get the best out of the industry.
The bad experience that you have experienced can be a very valuable lesson for yourself in running the cryptocurrency industry, because I am sure everyone who has jumped into the cryptocurrency industry must have had bad experiences and have regretted it even once.

I got into the space after a friend introduced me to High yield investment platforms (HYIPs). This was my first adventure in cryptocurrency, I purchased bitcoin with the hope of getting much more after few days, but they ran away with my funds and I could withdraw. I continued in several platforms and lost much more until I gave up and started reading more about projects and gaining an understanding of how the industry operates.

Though have been hearing about crypto from people but never put my attention there until a day that i attend a seminars co-ordinated by someone i respected, so the way he talk about it got my attention, so was forced to question him about it generally, before he break everything down for me and i do some personal research apart from the one he told me, though he is the that encourage me to do so. that is all for me
when a friend said that now there is digital money that can be used for many things, and I was interested in knowing more, Bitcoin made me more excited to know more about crypto, and what do I get when I get to know crypto? previously inconceivable, it turns out that crypto has many benefits for everyday life and can generate a lot of paper money in my pocket. 
I have known crypto since 5 years ago I studied crypto more and I am more interested in crypto, because for me crypto is a unique market but it provides big profits. so I think that's what got me involved in crypto until now
