Hello,
I just want to know why Bill Gates do not invest some money in Bitcoin, he will be a very big contributor to the crypto world, and will also be very respected, he will also be able to become more rich (or less).
But what is the reason why he do not invest funds in cryptocurrencies?

Well, as we all know Bill gates was one of the billionaire business person in the entire world.
And as far as I remember I saw Bill gates in you tube video, He said that bitcoin can't be stop to increase, and I think
Bill gates invested into bitcoin or some crypto currency. But this is only my perceptions Smiley

It is unclear if Bill Gates does not invest in bitcoin. Even Bill Gates praises bitcoin and he even said that bitcoin is better than fiat currency. He even has integrated bitcoin with Microsoft Office features. This explains that even there are no articles telling us that Bill Gates is investing in bitcoin , his words and support on bitcoin is a clear statement that he probably is investing on this wonderful currency which is the bitcoin.

Bill Gates is already using Bitcoin!
Microsoft was one of the first big companies to accept
Bitcoins for their products (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/13942/microsoft-account-add-money-with-bitcoin )

The fact that he's not loud about it doesn't mean he's not smart Wink
Big companies like Microsoft don't need that money and I'm almost
sure that they're storing their Bitcoin profits at least until 2020
ultimately getting a huge ROI for their patience.

I like how he maintains a low profile regarding Bitcoin. Though there is no need for him to share to the entire world that he is using and investing on Bitcoin since it will not really bring him a real benefit instead of people saying how amazing it and alike. Also he is rich enough and it would be good to invest in Bitcoin so he can expand his business more and richer! But I think it is more like to achieve more than becoming richer.

At this point in his life, Bill Gates is not after making himself any more wealthier than he is now. He is at the point where he would like to help as many people as he can by way of investing at research and development of new trchnologies that uplifts the lives of the underprivileged. And he said in an interview, he is not after the pseudonymity and would rather develop something that has more transparency to it. But I guess it wouldn't be surprising if he has a few coins hidden under his bed.

perhaps this post is offyopic but still i would like to reply.
Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency usually used for trading, investing, lending etc. Bitcoin is not yet declared as a central currency as it dosent have any central government. I dont think bill gates need any such small(for him) income via bitcoin. He has much more bigger business to handle. Also trading with bitcoin takes a lot time. I dont hink Bill gates can waste his precious time for trading with bitcoin. Rich people like Bill Gates will only accept bitcoin once its declared as a currency.

Bill is just a pawn, he doesn't really have billions of dollars he's just a name on the media and front pages. he has his masters to obey and kiss

Their white old and fat asses, if you were them you'd be needing to put out some faces with some names and say here they are the richest and

The wealthiest people, do you think someone like the founder of google is willingly and by choice denying me to download games and apps from

Play store? or Gates woke up and scratched his ass then went to the MS HQ and ordered to deny me and my country many of MS services?

Yes its true.  Bill gates has put and interest on bitcoin i have knoen he bought some too. I think he will put that as an investment and he will hold it for years because he has lot of money so why did he choose to sell bitcoins so early, the point is he treats bitcoin as one of his assets and and investment for him. Bill gates is the richest so he know how to do with it.

Dude that guy so so rich like he could buy anything in this world. Tell me reasons why he needs to become even richer than himself as of this moment? He's Bill Gates the owner of microsoft, he's a multi-billionaire as of now. And he has all those people that can work for him right now on his company. Great computer engineers and IT graduates to work for him. He doesn't need the use of cryptocurrency for somebody to work for him online. He has now the community of people that works hard for him.

Why would he? I see no reason for him to come to crypto world and invest money in something whose legal status is still not clear in many countries. It will lead him to controversy. I am sure he doesn't want that.

Not just him, but I don't see 99.99% of billionaires is investing in cryptos for obvious reasons, controversy. If the legal status of crypto currency becomes clear with all countries or majority of the first world countries, then probably we will see some ultra rich population to invest in it. But not before that for sure.

I think Bill Gates is contented in what he has. Damn so rich why he will bother on crypto when he can have what he wants? Anyway lets just think that he invested huge sums of money in USD and now living a comfortable life

Maybe Bill gates doesn't need anything, because He is a billionaire person or He has a deep and valid reason why he's not using it.
And besides whether He use it or not nothing to loose for Him at all.
Also I think Bill Gates may be in a point in his life where he does not need any more money, why would he? What I mean if you had more than 80 billion dollars would you care about having even more money or generating more money, I suppose most will be more than happy to have that amount of money and will try to enjoy all that money for the rest of their lives.

Microsoft founder Bill Gates, who recently became the richest person in the world, answered questions about the crypto currency in a short and rather confusing way, although this time he spoke more about bitkoyne in more detail than in previous interviews. To comment on the phenomenon of Bitcoin and its ability to provide a network for transmitting transactions around the world at virtually no cost, Gates told Bloomberg:"Bitcoin is better than (fiat) currencies in that you do not have to be physically in a particular place, for example in a bank, but it's quite inconvenient for large transactions of crypto currency."
At the same time, with the obviously positive qualities of the Crypto currency, Gates continued to argue that, although the world needs cheaper payments, Bitcoin is not the best example of what the payment market should look like in the future.Gates suggested that Bitcoin will not be able to develop in the mass market due to its anonymity, as well as its association with terrorism and money laundering. He added: "The clients we are talking about do not try to remain anonymous, they are ready to be known if to create a technology similar to bitcoin, where there are all the positive qualities inherent in the crypto currency, but at the same time people feel comfortable and that it has nothing in common With terrorism or any type of money laundering. "The interview was held at Sibos 2014, a banking and financial conference in Boston, which also addressed the challenges facing the financial industry and various electronic payment technologies.
It is noteworthy that the first day of the event was dedicated to the events that took place in the world of digital currencies, with representatives of Circle, Etherium and Ripple Labs.In new statements by Bill Gates, there has been some progress in discussing the prospects of crypto-currencies. In February of this year, Gates took part in Ask Me Anything on the network resource Reddit, where several users asked him to express their thoughts on the prospects bitcoin. Gates did not specifically answer the question on crypto-currencies, instead focusing his compliments on electronic payment systems, such as Kenya's mobile payment services, M-PESA. Gates addressed Bitcoin only once, saying: "My fund is involved in the development of digital money, but unlike Bitcoin they will not be anonymous digital currencies."

We can't know for sure if he is using Bitcoin or not. But I would say that rich people look differently on cryptocurrencies. And if they invest they invest in more secure and stable things, I would say more traditional ones. His interests are focused on different things and regarding to finances he probably has advisers and Bitcoin wasn't something they paid attention to.
speculation is everywhere here ,
i am sure noone know about it even microsoft as his company involve in several bitcoin project ,
without reliable data / evidence that bill gates invest in bitcoin personally .

Why would he? That's a good question. He already have all of his assets tagged in USD and because of that, he fully supports the currency. Why would he use something that is technically the enemy or the one that disrupts his holdings in the first place? And aside from that, he's already rich. No need to make more money than what he has right now.

Bill Gates is going to used what's best for him, he's not going to use the most innovative or the best this or the best that. He's going to do what's best for himself to be able to maximize profits, minimize expenses (such as taxes) and so on and so forth. Even though he may have come out awhile ago and said Bitcoin was amazing and all that, he's not coming out and saying that he'd use it for himself. He has to ACTUALLY use his currency and doesn't want it to be so volatile that it could lose 1/3 of it's value in .2 seconds. That'd be insane to see with his billions though.
The funny thing is that there is a trending video in youtube with over 1,000,000 views about Bitcoin with Bill Gates on it and now all the noobs think Bill Gates is Bitcoin friendly when I doubt that's the case, he must be neutral at best. As others pointed out, Bill Gates is a dollar billionaire so he benefits from the status quo. He would only approve of a e-fiat, not a true radical invention like Bitcoin.

He'd approve of whatever makes him more money, so whatever is going to help him and his family and OVERALL his fortune he's going to work within to advance and further his wealth.
