You have actually stated why bill gates wouldn't use bitcoin. Simply because he does not want to contribute. I dont know someday but not it is pretty clear. I think that bitcoin is a treat to their fully build business
I have a feeling that Bill Gates invest in bitcoin, I ever saw a video that he mentioned about bitcoin and the advantage and the future about bitcoin, I don't think that is something that can be explained if you don't involved inside after that Bill Gate is a person who catch up with technology, so I believe that reasons are enough for me to conclude that Bill Gates is into bitcoin
We don't know if Bill Gates really doesn't have any investment in Bitcoin, We just all know that he created Microsoft windows, he is a billionaire and he's a techie person, My opinion is he do have investment but not telling in the world. Its just like satoshi nakamoto we don't know anything about him, we just know that he is Missing in Action but who knows maybe he is the one controlling the price of Bitcoin in the market.

well said no one will exposed their investment and will attract other big players to joined them and be a competitors I guess as long as they have knowledge and they knew that earnings is following them they will keep that and secretly place their money inside, bill gates is a businessman and opportunity will not be taking for granted for sure. We know nothing about bill gates economic finances or where do he spend his money or where do he invest but one thing is pretty sure,he is a techy person i bet he is using bitcoins too and funding something usingbitcoins

Too shallow market for him, thats one reason.He have so much money, that he only cares about charity now till rest of his days, thats second reason.
He can admire technology, but he always cared about technology/software that he can sell, he doesn't approve open source, thats third reason.
when bitcoin was below 200 USD bill gates told about bitcoin that bitcoin is very cheap so how can say he did not invested money in bitcoin , who knows this ? if he told bitcoin is cheap @200 USD is means he know price will go high and he invested too much that is why Microsoft accepted bitcoin in early stage 
He is wealthy enough to say that. Bill Gates was rich before bitcoin has been discovered. He doesn't need bitcoin to become rich. He has a lot of businesses moreover on the Microsoft. We as ordinary people need bitcoin to change our lives. I will invest all my money when I got a job easily. I have one step ahead with my competitors because of Bitcoin.

In my opinion, Bill Gates does not need to use Bitcoin. As a matter of fact, he already is rich and one of the richest people of the world. He even is getting money while I am typing.
Microsoft has a lot of branches around the world and therefore nothing prevents them to accept bitcoins. They are doing it. The US government can dictate terms only in America. However, I don't think Bill Gates invests in crypto. For him it is just extra money. In the crypto currency investing currency speculators. This is their issue.
I'm not so sure about that, Microsoft is a company created in America and the US laws can be very broad in its application, even if a subsidiary in another country did something, microsoft will still be liable in the US too, that is why US companies are very cautious to try to not provoke the ire of uncle Sam.I certainly support and agree with this view

In fact, it is not only about companies registered and operating in the US with their subsidiaries in some other country doing something which the American authorities might not quite like that will suffer severe consequences home, in the US. The Swiss banks had been forced to disclose personal info of the American citizens which kept their money in these Swiss banks in Switzerland itself

Because already he's an technology person, so without reason he won't be investing. He could have invested just because he found it worthy and productive.

Exactly because I suspect he has mining investments in Bitcoin and or perhaps he might definitely have so that he is holding down and waiting for the right moments, chances are that he even has the biggest investment in Bitcoin.

I think he may have investment a few millions USD on bitcoins. I think millions for him is nothing so he doesn't care enough. They are busy with their foundation anyways and helping a lot of poor people globally so he don't bother. And probably he's profit will just go to charity so its cool for him if he did actually invested in crypto's specially bitcoin
I think gates will not invest in these bitcoins because he is running a big company and he will not get time to think about this bitcoin. Maybe he will invest, but he will not disclose with others because it is illegal money. I think bitcoins is a small matter for him he is Bilinear and he doesn't want to make money from this bitcoins. He will earn more money from his business.
I think He has no times to do more. Because He always stays busy with Microsoft and Gates Foundation. For that, He can not effort in other.
