I couldn't agree more to this statement "The more people use it, the more powerful it would be", bitcoin has power because bitcoin is mostly used. For example, when I still didn't have any idea about cryptocurrency the first thing that was introduced to me was bitcoin. That's how powerful bitcoin is, it is now becoming a layman term.

It's also possible that the bitcoin world gets crowded that chaos started to happen. Right now, the only ones in the bitcoin world are those that are tech savvy and are intelligent enough to understand all this. Soon enough, the uneducated ones will come in and there will be chaos like what's happening on everywhere they go. Some people only seek to destroy everything that they come across. If bitcoin becomes so popular, even this people will be here. Destroying and spamming stuffs around.

You were introduced to cryptocurrency and then quickly introduced to bitcoin. Why? It's because bitcoin is the leading crypto-coin. Its "power" (as you mean it) is only limited to the cryptocurrency world. Outside of it, on the other parts of economy? Bitcoin is nothing. Fiat is still leading.

I am not so sure that his main power is in his fame. I am actually seeing a lot of speculation in the current "power" of bitcoin, and I would not be surprised if this inflationary bubble ends up bursting sooner or later.

Bitcoin's main power (according to me) lies in the fact that it offers people a decentralized solution that can be used to store wealth outside the traditional banking system. Gold functions as decentralized asset as well, but severely lacks in a direct comparison to its digital competitor (Bitcoin). If you look at how small the number of people actually using Bitcoin is, then you'll quickly realize that there is a huge potential growth to gain in the coming years, as Bitcoin serves a real purpose.

I agree, bitoin popularity reached to different places and niches, bringing more investors to adopt bitcoin and some gangsters too (inevitable they wouldn't adopt bitcoin). Bitcoin has more trust than any other crypto currency.
I ask myself if another crypto currency were the first one to be created, bitcoin would have the trust it has today...

[1] That's seems incorrect. Zimbabwean dollar is a currency but it seems to have no power at all. Even a huge amount of Zimbabwean dollar can't buy anything at all. Just because something is a currency, doesn't mean it has value. Another example? Look at the coins in YoBit. Tons of them have 1 satoshi price. Those coins don't have value at all. It will require a really huge amount of that coin to have even just a small value. Those coins don't even have any audience anymore.

[2] Try going outside this forum and you'll realize that signature campaign doesn't mean that much compared to the huge world bitcoin has given us.

yeah bitcoin is trustworthy. reason why it is much popular because it is very easy to use, it is a best place for investment where you will good value in the return, some of the places btc is accepted for the direct exchange which is a very good sign. reason is simple btc is turstable so lot more new users joining which is making it more powerful than any other coins.

Yes bitcoin is far better than other coins. it is safe, easy to transfer or received, best investment tool and best valued when we sell. what i like more about btc is it works as same as money to you. it is decentralized which is a very good thing that will happen to the money. because we dont have to pay tax for it and we can use it for the daily purpose. for sure after 1 or 2 years it will become much more popular than what it is now.

Yes bitocin is there from a very long time. there are lot of very popular user in the btc who has earned significantly well in the btc. the reason why it is in power is because the currency is cryptographic, it is highly secure than any other form of money/gold. its value keep increasing often which makes it much powerful than other part of investment. if you just see the gold price it increses but comparatively to the btc the value of price increase very less in gold .

Bitcoin is trusted by majority of the people where as not altcoin. the reason why it has much power is because of its popularity among the users, more secure, if we just see the 2 years of performance of the btc we will get to know how much value it has given in our life. the price is most of the time high, even if it falls again the value is getting increased. one more reason is by holding the money we get reward i mean if you dont believe just check the value of the btc last year and today's date.
