The speciality in bitcoin comes when we see it as a first ever cryptocurrency . Also no other currency whether crypto or fiat has increased in price value and popularity compared to bitcoin.

Just look at the coinamrektcap every other morning and you will see how things are working up here and why bitcoin shouldn’t be special currency/asset really. :-)

I think we dont need to explain how it grew from that period when the coin was newbie and nobody was there to trust but the pizza boy and 12 years old kid who became millionaires afterwards. Now this is really amazing to see how it is flowing through everyone crypto lovers vein and how they want to be millionaire with it.

Thats the reason and so many others to make this asset special one in long terms.

Yes the qualities explained by the OP are the one that makes it special among all but one more thing I would like to mention is that bitcoin is the first cryprocurrency introduced to the world so, that’s why it is the most popular nowadays. Every cryptocurrency have all the other qualities that bitcoin has but it’s the pioneer that distinguishes it in the list of crypto. It was the first digital currency which brought revolution to the world to have transaction without the involvement of banks.

I think the word "special" is not the proper and appropriate word to describe bitcoin but I am more preferred to describe bitcoin as the strongest cryotocurrency. I can say that bitcoin is the strongest cryptocurrency among other currency because even it experience segwi2x and many more but still bitcoin was unstoppable. It continually increase thats why it became a strongest cryptocurrency.

Bitcoin is special because it is unique and there has never been, and never will, be anything like it. The finite amount coupled with the decentralized immutable universal ledger, and the community behind it helping it by building on it. You can help by holding BTC and mining on the BTC blockchain if you have money to invest in the equipment it can be worth it especially with all these miners chasing forkcoin hash pwer.

I think the best reason here is because bitcoin is the first every crypto currency in the world. A lot of other people tried to make their own crypto currency or digital currency but Satoshi Nakamoto was the first one to be successful with the technology of Blockchain and was adapted by many other crypto currency today. We can say it is special because without bitcoin, there will be no crypto currency.

Because bitcoin is the first of all the digital currencies that are being known nowadays. Even though people tries to create or produce other currency no one of those will defeat bitcoin. indeed all of OP metioned is true and i admitted that's also the advantages transactions using bitcoin especially create new bitcoin wallet is pretty much easy and no required personal ID such as create banks accounts but very unfortunate that bitcoin is not recognized as regular currencies which makes acceptable for every countries
