I think the best reason here is because bitcoin is the first every crypto currency in the world. A lot of other people tried to make their own crypto currency or digital currency but Satoshi Nakamoto was the first one to be successful with the technology of Blockchain and was adapted by many other crypto currency today. I can't agree with you more. Bitcoin is a special currency because it is not only a typical currency but also an asset or investment due to the high rate of increase on its value compared to any currency. And with that, it allows the users to be also an investor which will give them profit by just storing and saving Bitcoin on e-wallets for a long period of time. It is an enough reason to calm Bitcoin a special currency.

Not sure about what are you saying, it seems the bitcoin to be a special rather than other caused by the its nature. I meant about the bitcoin's value has determined by the demand and the supply. This is will be different with another commodity just like gold. Especially fiat with full of the manipulation by the bankers. That's why bitcoin has the more advantage than other or it becomes more special.

Whats actually make it specially is already being mentioned which is the true purpose of bitcoin and also being listed or stated on its own whitepaper on which a new way payment system which theres no 3rd party involved on that and also does have less fees which it did really caught up the attention specially on early investors or even on new ones but most people would really see on its investment side which bitcoin can really give.
