The reason why bitcoin is so much special than other currency is that bitcoin's price is keep on increasing unlike other currency that is not increasing and it is also become more popular to many people nowadays. Though there are some countries who banned bitcoin, but still it made the bitcoin to become popular because it will give the people a curiosity why the country is banning bitcoin and they will try to conduct some research after that so they can find the answer to their unanswered questions.

Those are fair points! I think you missed one of the biggest selling point of Bitcoin, though, which is its decentralization.

Nobody owns it, nobody controls it. Its future is entirely in the hands of its holders. Transactions can't be stopped, they can't be reversed, with no limitations on value. You can get involved regardless of age, sex, or financial status. Users are free, basically.

There's also the fact that its value just keeps growing, and it doesn't seem like it will ever stop. Its growth is a marvel, and it continues to be. But who cares about that right? /s

Well one reason why it is much special is bitcoin is decentralized. Nobody controls bitcoin not unlike fiat money where an institution is controling it. Transfer of bitcoin is much easier than other currencies specially compared to that of fiat money and we do not also worry of fees in transferring them.

The only factor ithink that influence btc too much and that bitcoin been too popular is that because btc been trusted by many and we already see how it grows, unlike in other crypto it doesn't prove yet their use besides from eth which is really usefull.
