At least for the time being I believe that investing in bitcoin is much safer than, for example, in altcoins. Now I'm striving to buy bitcoin and ethereum and I think I'm doing the right thing

I think no one can guarantee bitcoin is the safe investment.
Because bitcoin is volatile and the wallet could be hacked in any way by the hackers.
So, investing in cryptocurrency has a high risk.
I dont know any way to make x10 x100 profit ez like invest into bitcoin or some other coin

many of the investors, especially the new ones in the world of cryptocurrency, are the original function of bitcoin, they only argue about the current price of bitcoin. This is what will happen and continue to happen that price fluctuations cannot be prevented, bearish and bullish trends will continue.
But actually, if we judge from the long-term side, bitcoin is one that might be a revolution of a payment instrument. And that, in my opinion, will continue to grow. This is not just a price. But the function of bitcoin itself.
I think i'm totally agree with this opinion, we can see those following reason that have been mentioned is something that made bitcoin is one of the safest investment right now, but in reality many people still afraid of it.

as I know that bitcoin is not a safe investment we can see that bitcoin price drops and rise, we don't know when the price drops and rise, we can't predict it, so I think bitcoin is not safe for me, although that your statement is right but i think bitcoin is not a safe investment
I agree cause bitcoin is high risk investment cause the value is unpredictable and no one knows when it high or low the price value. Bitcoin is unpredictable that's why it is not safe investment its better to invest the money afford to lose . 
Safest maybe not, there are no safest investment in this world. But security of bitcoin system is very strong, until now there are no hack happen with blockchain, only users or exchanger that got hacked.

The limited supply it has makes it to have more liqudity compare to flat currency.
It will be bigger than internet,especially now all the engineers focus on the blockchain technology behind bitcoin.

In actual fact, Bitcoin is a high risk investment and people should never invest more than what they are willing to lose. I still see Bitcoin as a young technology in the experimental phases and people should be wary about that.
We do not know if the scaling solutions will work and if the mining will stay sustainable and if competition will dethrone Bitcoin. So, until Bitcoin has matured, keep a open mind and tread cautiously.

I think the consensus among all those who have basic understanding of bitcoin is that it is not the safest investment although it has a lot of potential. and as for the risks, the risk of "competition dethroning" is zero because what you call competition either is a shitcoin that is only in the news because it was pumped or if it is a good project it still suffers from the same flaws as bitcoin does and in some cases it even has more flaws.
