Yup, most of them dont trust the management on the project because they think that they will sell their identity and it is not safe. And the other reason is there are few of bounty hunters who uses multiple accounts on one campaign.

Why investors turns to bitcoin in the first place? Because of its decentralized system and anonimity. So do you think they would like to give informations to someone they didnt know and didnt sure about even to just bounties ? Ofcourse not. Added that its hard to trust internet people nowadays.

After doing bounties for more than a year, I found two main reasons for this:

1. Bounty hunters do not want to trade their identity for a small piece of stake.
2. Some bounty hunters are illegal immigrants and do not have proper ID documents, hence they know that they won't be able to pass KYC and their effort is wasted.
3. Some bounty hunters are cheaters.  They use multiple accounts to participate in a single bounty to earn more.
Where did that logic come from? any data or proof about illegal immigrants doing bounties or you telling this from personal experience?  Cool

@asriloni its very concerning for Bounty participants. what is the name of the scammy platform. would be great if you name this platform .

There was a latest scam platform that stealing thousands of identities from the bounty participants. That should be the problem and bounty hunters get a two choices for that. Participated by put your personal identity on the risk or not.

If the bounty manager will tell about KYC in the first week of bounty then its good but if KYC will be applied at the end of bounty campaign then its like unfair to some bounty participants . I dont see any wrong with it because I know it helps to minimize cheaters.

Its not the bounty hunters only. In Fact i think the whole crypto industry hates KYC. KYC is actually against the whole theme of crypto industry. It makes it difficult, kills anonymity and brings the industry under the govts and institutions which is being hated by all the community.

What i know,  KYC means Know Your Customer ! Bounty hunters are there to Support ICO Project to spread the word about the project .. BUT as soon as the Project manager mention KYC then many  Hunter run away  ! Why? Is it  because  people  don't want review their identity  for security  reason  or people  are joining campaign  with bot software ..

I tell you the truth buddy from what I have observed. In every bounty, there are numerous entries made by a single participant farming the token rewards. Is not that fair for the company and for the participants? That person could easily sell-off what he got and affects the market price. I believe those who are complaining may be hard for them to pass KYC but I actually like it to reduce the risk of making the token/coin into a shitcoin. There may be no more hard dumpings. And passing KYC for me is simple as long as you follow what is ask.

Most times kyc was initiated to tackle fake users. But then some projects have become mischievous and can use kyc to get rid of hunters which is not fair

KYC is good for determining who are your customers or users of your digital coin. But for the person who signs the KYC, it is something because personal information can be stolen so easily and may be used for something else that might not be good for him. Identity thief is a common problem in some areas or localities today.

Can I ask a question, is it illegal if you send a fake KYC. Not totally fake, but information of other person with his/her permission. For example your friend, because sometimes I don't have enough I.D. or supporting document needed.

Just wondering guys Smiley

I believe that because it give difficulty on bounty participant after their struggle on promoting the project, and when the time for distribution came, they should done some complicated thing to get their right.
it truns out that those who complain about the regulation to KYC to the bounty hunter, not just me. and it is true, why we have done our work, we must be difficult to get our payment

one reason surely is they don't want to bother with a wide range of KYC requirement. Moreover, when it knows that they are getting paid are not comparable with what they sacrifice in the form of identity. Another reason, however it has a nice effect is to reduce multilingual user account cheating. so, of course, the breeder many accounts will be a hassle when faced with KYC.

Actually this applies to some bounty hunters only I have sent my KYC documents many times in all bounty that requires this procedure, the only hunters that hates this KYC thing is the multi-account participants to cheat more stakes so that they can earn huge amount of tokens but with the KYC they have a less chance to do it since it requires identity verification.

Your documents or identity can be compromised if you share those with someone whom you do not know. Who will secure that your documents will not compromise? That's why bounty hunters do not want to do KYC. In some countries, cryptocurrency is illegal and they do not want to reveal their identity for that reason.

Many people are disappointed with KYC procedures because they do not want their identity to be misused. Especially when giving up their personal identities, they don't know whether they can be trusted or not. Like what often happens when they do KYC, but they don't get the promised token.

I agree with having a regulations with KYC verification but still afraid to give my personal data that I know that can make his/her appearance be known by online scammers. I don't blame those projects that are really successful to their platform but what I have concern is those scammers that are scattered everywhere that can really make you feel afraid to lose your investments but still I followed their KYC verification.

Because there are some of them who have many accounts to follow airdrop and bounyy campaigns, so they hate when told to do KYC

I do not about what KYC is , to investor it is important to know your customer , but for bounty hunters also it should not be applicable for them to have kyc because they where only the ones who spread the projects to have a reward for their works. Kyc for me is only important to the investors of an ICO to know the real identity of them to be part of the ICO projects.
