Crypto currencies supposed to be anonymous and I don't see the need to submit our identity because even if we used other people's identity nobody will know it, and its very dangerous to submit our identity to unknown site, identity theft is one of the hardest problem to solve

Bounty Hunters are not afraid of KYC. If they really want to promote the project , they don't have any problem with KYC. But ,if the project is scam , then there is chance of leaking their identity which is not good thing.

It's for privacy reasons, never liked the idea of crypto+kyc thing anyway and they shouldn't asking for kyc unless absolute necessity.

For ICO investments I understand but for bounties I don't. When was bounty payout $1k+?

BUT as soon as the Project manager mention KYC then many  Hunter run away  ! Why? Is it  because  people  don't want review their identity  for security  reason  or people  are joining campaign  with bot software ..
when the manager's bounty announces KYC, many cannot do it because most of the bounty hunters commit multi-account fraud, so they have difficulty doing KYC

Indeed, now many bounty hunters use KYC (Know Your Custumer) if they want to get bounty results, actually it was KYC to avoid double accounts that were done by bounty hunters, but it made the hunters uncomfortable, because they were afraid their personal data was misused .

I agree, and you really don't know what's going to happened to your personal data because there are numerous reports that there are a lot of leaking going on in the dark web, so its really not comfortable if you're a bounty hunter.

But not all bounties require or enforce KYC though, so for bounty hunters its better if you clear up with the campaign managers if KYC is needed before joining.

What i know,  KYC means Know Your Customer ! Bounty hunters are there to Support ICO Project to spread the word about the project .. KYC checks are additional and not the most pleasant duties for bounty hunters. Because it is carried out, as a rule, at the end of the ICO, the ICO team is interested in the fact that we did not pass it and in order not to pay the earned tokens. Therefore, I am not joining ICO signature campaigns that require KYC verification.

If Bounty managers conducting KYC only to avoid scammers and cheaters then its right call and everyone should not have any problem with it. if that's not the case then i don't want to risk my personal documents and identity.
There was a latest scam platform that stealing thousands of identities from the bounty participants. That should be the problem and bounty hunters get a two choices for that. Participated by put your personal identity on the risk or not.

Many of bounty hunters participating in bounty from multiple accounts and KYC is like a barrier for them.
I generally try to avoid checking out KYC because it’s illegal for bounty hunters. We are not clients and investors of ICO projects and should not undergo such verification.
In addition, the KYC check is usually carried out after the end of the ICO, there is no information in advance about the order of its passing, we sometimes spend a lot of time and effort to get such information and I do not like it.
In addition, sometimes we are required to provide such documents that we simply sometimes cannot provide. They demand from us to work first, and then it is revealed that we are not paid due to KYC checks. Therefore, such a test in any case should be carried out before we begin our work, and not after it.

There are several reasons to explain:
1. Some hunters use multiple accounts at once to join a bounty campaign
2. They don't want to disclose personal information
3. Some programs require to pass kyc difficult. Eg: provide proof of address verification, or bank account statement... They need them for what?

True fact, maybe if they can't use multiple accounts reward not really big to them. But sometime we must keep aware to give stranger our identity and we must make sure they really save it and not use it to do bad things.

This identity data is very important because we don't want our identity data to be misused. This will certainly endanger the bounty hunter. There have been many cases like that. The bounty hunter has done KYC but they still don't get tokens.

Perhaps the first reason is that there are still many students who take part in the bounty so they don't have an identity card, and the second is lazy with the KYC process, the third is cheaters, so definitely back down if there is KYC.

Most bounty hunters would not want most of their personal data to be exposed. There are alleged accusations where blockchain companies sell out peoples data to third party agencies. But for me personally, I dont quite participate in bounties that requires KYC because there are some documents which are difficult to obtain in my jurisdiction like drivers license

Sometimes the bounty reward isn't worth that much after the end of the campaign. so if the bounty participant being asked for KYC, they will choose not to do it, and mostly they got, maybe angry cause they already done their work, but still they have to perform something that they think isn't worth it compared to the reward they got.

many of the reasons the bounty hunter didn't like the KYC. This is not a system that is intended for workers because of the bounty is not a customer. In addition, the dangerous identity theft certainly also avoided because they do not expect their identities generally useless given. but actually, KYC thus could be a nice step to avoid the number will double that roamed on the bounty.

there are several reasons why bounty hunters don't like KYC
  • Participants registered several accounts in the bounty so when asked for KYC it was difficult to do so
  • Lazy doing KYC because he feels the reward he gets is only a little
  • Lazy doing KYC because now there are so many unclear bounties sometimes after doing KYC we are not paid

I am bounty hunter but I just hate kyc a bit not to much because sometime if I receive a good reward and the team look credible I will perform kyc, but if estimate of reward too little I would rather not to claim it than giving my private information.
